This was a five. But her office manager just called me two hours before my appointment and tried to put me off for a week I cannot afford to be put off...because it is pretty clear they had not updated my appointment information to indicate I would be seeing the other doctor, like they asked me if I would do last week. After rudeness and anything but empathy, I got it put for tomorrow with the knowledge I will be waiting awhile. Otherwise I might not have seen a doctor before 12 weeks because of this. If my approximation is off, we may still be pushing it. The other office person realized this and had gotten me into the earliest appointment, but the office manager was entirely unconcerned and invalidated me when I said I had conditions that increase risk of miscarriage and really want to get in to see a doctor and make sure my baby is okay and I am doing the right things to ensure its safety. I may update this tomorrow, but it is staying neutral until I know this practice is how I remember it and not how this awful woman made me worry it now may be. :( Dr. Staten was my obgyn for several years. She did my cystectomy and was the first to say I had early signs of endometriosis. She was always patient and kind. Having had other doctors since aging out of my parents insurance, I realize how just good I had it back then.

Dr. Staten is one of the most, if not the most knowledgeable OBs in the area. She is my OB currently. She is no less than compassionate and will take the time to answer all of your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Staten for any womens pregnancy! You will not be disappointed and you will be in the hands of someone who truly cares about your healthy and more importantly the healthy of your baby.

My experience has been HORRIBLE!! It took the office two weeks to put in my presciption. My HIPPA Privacy Act was violated. Every time I call I am sent to the office emergency line. They are always closed. Very upset, on my first and only visit I thought Dr. Staten was one of best doctors I had so far, but it is NOT a professional office.

I saw Dr. Staten for many years before trying to become pregnant and then she delivered my son. She makes you feel totally comfortable and always takes the time to answer questions. Weve since moved out of state, but I would highly recommend her.
