Not sure why the reviews here are so low, everyone I worked with here was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I came in with repeated injuries to my lower back over several years, including a recent injury just a few weeks prior. One of the things I liked most about this place was their desire to first fully understand exactly what was happening in my lower back, rather than just giving me generic back exercises like my doctor. My first appointment was 45 minutes of just sitting in a room with the therapist and the assistant performing various motions to isolate the true cause of my back pain. As it turned out, it was not the muscles in my lower back that were causing the pain (as I had thought for many years) but actually the inability of some of my nerves to glide in and out of my spinal cord without catching. After the diagnosis, I came back for 10-12 sessions of "glide" exercises to improve the flexibility and movement of my nerves. Its a lot of work, and you have to do the homework exercises that they give you, but the results are well worth it.

I have had at least one trigger point in my left neck and shoulder for no less than 12 years. Honestly, the chronic pain from it has been unbearable at times. I believe that this condition has led to migraines and periodic tight muscles that dont response to heat, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc.. I have been to chiropractors and physical therapists frequently for help with the chronic pain. Sadly, they have never gotten to the root of the problem. The pain is from trigger points in the muscles that have accumulated over time. Cathy Busby used a new technique to try to resolve the problem about 5 weeks ago with the dry needling technique. A friend in Florida had also had it done and found that it successfully cured her pain. wow - what a difference in the last 4 weeks! I realize that the release of the knot (trigger point) in the left side has probably caused the nerve pain to subside. This is the first breakthrough EVER in my condition. Can I recommend Cathy at this facility? Yes. She is an excellent physical therapist.

This is the best physical therapy office Ive ever been to. There is always a PT working with, not just the first time, but every time. They explain in detail what/why youre going a particular exercise & dont ask you to do a lot of exercises at home, which most people probably dont do anyway. Everyone is super nice & professional. I have a lot of ailments, so Ill be going here a while, because of the RESULTS!!
