Horrible experience -- I went to get my glasses and contacts fitted, they charged $80.00 for the contacts. I paid with $100.00 in cash, and the receptionist didnt have a change so, she said shell add it to my credit to ensure, id buy glasses from them. Well, I decided to get it from warby parker. I got the glasses mailed to me, to find that the prescription wasnt correct. I called this clinic and they blamed me for ordering online, gave me a whole lecture on why I shouldnt trust online merchandise :S. Then she advised me to come back in to get re-fitted. They didnt return my $20.00. All and well, until I had to order my contact lenses from Walmart -- guy said he had a hard time understanding whats written, so he called the clinic. She then told him, they cannot release a new prescription correcting the mistake, if I was getting it from another clinic?? So I said, screw that! Never going back there again.

Never got a good fit, theyre crooked. Another time tried to replace the lenses in my glasses while they were on the phone, broke the gold frames. Multitasking talking to her kid. Should have heated the frames first..Just reached over and bent them and they cracked. Told me itd take 2 weeks for the replaced frames. Its been 3 months now and still they have not received the replace frames...Who knows? They didnt even setup an appointment before all this! "oh I must have forgot to click the button.. BUT WE CAN SEE YOU cause we are not busy." I dont need new glasses! I just wanted them adjusted..Just want my money back and they can cram it.

Id give them 0 stars if I could. The staff was rude. The optometrist was impatient, and only gave me a partial exame. As a result my eyeglass prescription was off, and I had to pay for a second exame at a different clinic, out of pocket. To add insult to injury, they want a $10 copay that my insurance tells me that I dont owe. Never going back there again.

I was very pleased with the services I received from Peninsula Eye and Contact Lens Clinic. If it wasnt for Dr. Dale who during my eye exam notice the blood vessels in the back of my eye showed signs of heart disease. I made appointment with a cardiologist and he was right. I never would have known if I had not got my eyes checked.

Dr. Dale and his staff are all excellent at customer service. I have seen many optometrists before, but he is one of the best. Very thorough and takes the time to explain what my exam is showing. GREAT CLINIC!!!
