I was referred to Countryside by a friend at work because after taking my dog to other vets, I could not find a treatment for my dogs allergies that seemed to help. My dog, Robbie, suffered from severe allergies to his paws and he had licked them raw. Dr. Mitchell took cultures and worked with me and Robbie to finally bring his allergies under control. She never gave up and continued to try different treatments until she found one that worked. I was so impressed with her commitment to helping me and Robbie. I live almost an hour away from Countryside but continue to seek Dr. Mitchells help and care whenever I run into similar situations. She is thorough and patient and explains the treatment so I can understand what is going on. She has excellent follow up care and always calls to make sure Robbie is doing well. The staff is also accommodating and always willing to help. Countryside is the way veterinarian medicine should be!

I met the staff when my pup Hampshire almost died in Mary Esther, FL due to poor medical care. The Vet gave him another dogs meds. The Tiger Pointe, FL Vet I ran to in a panic saved Hampshires life, and she recommended Countryside. She said she interviewed with the clinic and only decided on Tiger Pointe because it was located right on the beach on the Gulf Coast near Pensacola, FL. Although it was quite a distance from my home and I of course have several Vet facilities near me, I decided to follow up on the recommendation. I am so glad I did. The staff is super friendly and theyre real animal lovers. Dr. Parker takes really good care of Darby (Tibetan Spaniel) and Hampshire (ShihTzu). We look forward to the drive and stopping at the beach while were in Deland. My friends think Im crazy and eccentric for traveling from Windermere to Deland every 2-monts, but theyre worth the drive and so are Darby and Hampshire.

My dog Duke had been super sick. I came to them for a second opinion because the first vet was at a loss. They cared so much about Duke and called multiple times to check in on his progress. Even though my dog was not able to recover, it was no reflection of their abilities. They took extra steps to care for Duke and I have a lot of respect for them. It really made a world of difference. They kindly made room for me in their schedules for two emergencies. The morning I woke up and realized it was the day I had to put Duke down, they were so kind and generous. They really gave him the best treatment and care every time we came in the door to handling his remains. I really appreciate them and wish I would have used them sooner. My next dog-child will definitely have them as a vet.

Weve been taking our dogs to Countryside for almost 20 years. I searched them out after another vet seemed to be more interested in selling me the latest greatest whatever for my dog while performing what I considered a lame physical exam. The staff at Countryside is outstanding in professionalism, kindness, courtesy, and promptness. Dr. Bryson is our long-time vet but we have seen others in emergencies and cant say enough good things about everyone there. Many people on the staff, from office to techs to the vets have been there for many years. That always speaks volumes about any business to me.There is an energy there that is very obvious; I always feel I am putting the health of my dogs into the best hands and care that I can.

I used countryside animal clinic for years up till I have moved out of state. SInce then had a really hard time finding a vet that I liked as much as them....all the vets care about the animal and they know there stuff. They are not as interested in your wallet , they are more concerned for the animal and show the animal, love , grace and dignity....If you love your furry friend I suggest you take them here for a visit. My one cat looked forward to seeing his Dr, think my kitty was infatuated lol....great place

Best vets in Florida, been a customer since opening day and have never had anything to say except wonderful people, wonderful service and the most caring vets ever. Dr. Sherrill did a surgery procedure on our little ones tail for a tumor removal, was called the next day to check on her and had to have six bandage changes during the healing time. Each time no charge for service but its Dr. Sherrills genuine concern and care which means everything when your looking for the right vet. Thanks Doc.

The workers here are so sweet, my cat knocked down a bowl full of dog treats, and I cried and tried to sweep them up. They wouldnt let me clean them up they insisted that they would do it. They helped me walk out to the car, they brought me my phone to the car that I had left inside because I was so upset and embarrassed. Theyre very nice kind and giving people. The way they treat my animals is amazing, you can really tell that they make a difference in animals lives.

I started going to countryside back when I first moved to Deland as they were recommended highly by a coworkers. The vets are all great and eager to listen and alway willing to help. They have helped all my dogs on various occasions as they battle with GI issues, skin allergies, leg issues, etc. The list goes on and on and I feel as if I always live at the vet lol. This place is very friendly and they work hard to help your pets.

I like the friendliness, professionalism and care of our pets shown by front staff, techs and the Dr. who took extra care and time to make sure two of our kittens, who had fevers, were sent home the next day minus their fevers and armed me with the right meds to keep them well. Countryside has taken care of my dogs for over 15 years. I even continued going to Countryside after moving closer to Orlando. When my Shepherds tumor needed to be removed recently, I was willing to drive the 80 mile round trip for surgery just to have the comfort that he would be taken care of by the best. I highly recommend Countryside to anyone that is looking for a vet!

Front office staff is first rate! Always able to answer a question without having to speak to multiple people. Back office staff on last visit were very gentle and loving towards my dogs. Also very efficient and apparently pain free on the procedures that they performed. Dr. Sherrill was great. Spent all the time that we needed. (we had alot of questions).

Theyve been great with my dog (Husky) 2 cats and 2 rats. Theyre thorough, so they do really look into whatever is bothering your pet, but theyre also also conservative -- they dont push expensive procedures that arent needed. Theyre busy, but they will make time for you if your animal is in distress. Staff is friendly and the vets are terrific.

I can always trust and count on the advice of Dr. Sherrill. She consistently conveys a hopeful and positive attitude, regardless of whatever problems my dogs are having. I am so grateful to her and every one of Countrysides staff members for their sweetness and professionalism. This has greatly contributed to my dogs good health.
