I am so glad I found Dr. Matt! One of my pets had illness(cancer) that was yet to be diagnosed. I had been going for diagnostics repeatedly, and charged more than was affordable for me for the tests and drugs provided by another establishment. A Pharmacist at Publix was kind enough to share with me her vets name, telling me he was good and affordable. Im so grateful to her. Dr. Matt was compassionate, determined to find the answers, went over the top to explain all to me in laymans English, and careful not to criticize or show judgement in the decisions I had to make. He also, in doing all that, took the time to offer me choices and point out things that I might not consider in a time when I was too emotionally upset to think things through clearly. On top of that, although they have a business to support, and a family to support, his charges were way below any that I have been charged at other vets in the last few years. I have more older animals, and have recently gone to a fixed income time in my life, with petsitting as retirement supplement ,so all these things matter alot to me, and I highly recommend his practice to anyone looking. Dr. Matt was amazing! He was professional, informative, and "down to earth". I had recently purchased a horse and am also a new horse owner. Dr. Matt was honest with me about my horse and extremely patient. He took the time to explain things to me and I could tell that he actually cared about my horse and I. You can tell that he is extremely knowledgeable about the products that he uses and would not do anything unless necessary. I have spent absurd amounts of money on unnecessary things at some vets and am not worried about that with Dr. Matt. If you dont need it, he wont do it, and hell tell you. It was a refreshing experience with Dr. Matt, as we have been "burned" before. Ill be taking all my pets there from now on. :)

Dr. Matt and his staff are so kind and caring to my fur babies, and they listen to owners! The first thing he says is tell me whats going on, and he doesnt start the exam until he knows the issues. The only vet I trust my animals with, hes conservative in treatment and always considers the animal first....and the staff are gentle and loving and soothing to the animals, which calms distraught owners. So worth a drive to Deland!! Thank you Dr. Matt, Ashley, Sara, Sarah Lee and Theresa! You guys rock!!!

Staff and Dr is very friendly. They all make you seem welcomed and treat you as if you were a life time friend. Very quick to respond to calls. They give you reminder calls, and next day follow up calls to check and make sure all is well and that you have no questions. Think we have found our vet.

Took my116 lb. dog there and said she needs a muzzle. Doctor was very unprofessional because dog lurched to bite with muzzle. Stood up and threw the ear canal light in the sink and said goodbye and stormed out of the room. Dogs was overwhelmed and in pain.
