When Dr. Malouf recommends that dental work needs to be done, he is VERY pushy about getting it done that same day. Recently he recommended extensive dental work for my daughter and was VERY pushy about getting it done RIGHT THEN. He was insistent that a second opinion was a bad idea, that wed have to pay out-of-pocket for new x-rays and exams. He went on for so long it all made me feel very uneasy. Nevertheless, we left without getting the work done. We were able to get a second opinion with no problem (no new fees or x-rays) and it turned out she only needed 1/3 of the work done. Hmm. Makes me wonder what other unnecessary dental work our family had done at his insistence. Not only that, but until the other day (last Friday--today is Tuesday) they hadnt informed me that they werent a preferred provider for my daughters insurance. So for all these years Ive been paying their exorbitant fees unnecessarily. If I had known they werent a preferred provider, I wouldve switched dentists. I didnt love their office anyway, so why would I have stuck with them and paid more out of pocket? I wouldnt have. Heres what happened: A few months ago they charged me an arm and a leg for cleanings, fluoride, etc. I paid, thinking the expense was pretty normal (not knowing they werent a preferred provider. Not realizing that preventative dental work shouldnt cost this much). Then Malouf informed me that my daughter "needed" the dental work I mentioned above. After I got the second opinion, found out she only needed 1/3 of the stuff done that he recommended, and that it was only going to cost a FRACTION of what he was charging, I got angry. Then another bill arrived for hundreds of dollars. I paid it and let them know wed be switching dentists. When I received a bill the other day from them for an ADDITIONAL $30 (approx), I lost it. I called them and told them if they wanted it theyd have to sue me for it. Not my finest moment but considering the situation, I was livid. Shortly thereafter I got an email from them in which they stated, "As you know, we are not a PPO provider for [insurance company], and as a result the insurance company pays less towards your childrens treatment..." Then they threatened to reverse a "courtesy" discount theyd applied to the portion of my account that I have already paid (is that even legal? Its certainly not ethical or professional...) and send the whole thing (reversed discount portion + the $30ish they were currently billing for) to collections. Classy. Caveat emptor, my friends. Let the buyer beware.

Dr. Malouf is a good dude and was always cool to me and did good work for my teeth. My problem isnt with him or his work, its the business end thats got me fired up. My whole family was going to see him for awhile never had an issue. I had double coverage insurance and was in the process of getting a lot of work done. Without telling me I had maxed out my insurance for the year they kept scheduling me for more work and bringing me in. After racking up a bill over $1500 they told me what happened and I got stuck with the cost. They set me up with payment arrangements and I made a couple but i couldnt afford all that and was really upset at the situation wondering why i was even in that chair if I was going to be footing the entire bill. I was covered by my parents insurance at the time and my mom went back and forth with who ever she could get a hold of at their office trying to resolve the situation. An employee told us other patients had gotten stuck in similar situations and supposedly someone lost their job over it. No one would work with us besides to say we owed money. Then they sent us a letter saying they would no longer perform any service for my family and we needed to find a new dentist. That was last year, fast forward to now Im getting phone calls from debt collectors threatening legal action on a bill I cant afford. A bill I feel like I shouldnt have been stuck with in the first place. I guess the lesson I learned here is to personally double check with my insurance before committing to any medical services in the future. Good dude, good work, but personally very unhappy with the situation I am left with after going to them.

Right upfront, Dr. Malouf is my cousin. I knew him growing up, and have utmost respect for him. He was always skilled, smart, funny, friendly, athletic, super honest, just a downright like-able guy. Some guys are really good with their hands. Some guys are really good with tools and equipment. Some guys are really skilled and caring and gentle and honest with people. Some guys are really really smart. Some guys are a combination of the above desirable attributes, and they are generally good dentists. Very very FEW guys, however, possess ALL these positive traits, but Dr. Malouf is one of the rare men who do. This makes him an AWESOME dentist. He did excellent first class work on my teeth. He made his busy schedule fit my crazy out of town truck driver schedule to get the work done. Wish my wife n kids lived close enough to get them in here too but they are in another state. No pressure to get extra work done, and no dragging work out over multiple appointments like some offices do in order to rack up charges. Dr. Malouf is efficient, friendly, fair, and highly skilled at what he does. Ive got good insurance and could easily go to dentists closer to home, but Im glad i made the trip and will gladly be using him again and so should you!

Great office, great staff. Pays very close attention to detail. Recently relocated to Washington from California and I began the "interview process" through the receptionists of local dentists. I have a dental history that reads like a novel, and needed a great dentist that would not rush through my exam etc. Dr. Malouf was perfect and had all the techniques I was accustomed to at my previous dental group. His staff is great and I recently took my daughter in for her cleaning and she was completely comfortable there. The receptionist verified all insurance benefits and let me know up front the costs and what insurance would/would not cover prior to booking my follow up for a filling/crown. I feel confident that I found a skilled dentist who will provide continuity of care in the years to come. I would encourage any parents to also take their kids there as he has a great disposition in relating to kids and his hygienist is very patient and gentle and does a great job of minimizing any anxiety during the process.

I havent received care from Dr. Gabriel Malouf but I can say I met him at Railroad Days a couple of years back. We had a great conversation and he seemed very health minded in regards to natural dentistry that is Biologically friendly to you...no nasty stuff essentially. I wanted to take a second to give him 5 stars because the same person that gave him a 1 star also gave our business a 1 star. This guy Sam K. posted this review on our Yelp and Google pages. Yelp immediately took it down as it was false. Im guessing just from my experience with this guy that his review of Dr. Malouf is also false. Something you should all know about Google is that to take down a review you need a certain number of flags...which they dont tell you or you need to Litigate!!! Shocking huh? So take it with a grain of salt at the very least. He seemed like a really nice guy. Give him a chance and dont listen to a reviewer who has limited info available on his page and only 1 star reviews. Seems fishy to me!
