Dr. Krick is absolutely amazing! I have a young rescue cat that had severe medical issues when he was a kitten and Dr. Krick along with the staff at the clinic showed so much genuine concern and thoroughness to ensure my baby got the best possible care. He was able to refer me to a specialist who saved my cats life and went above and beyond to also be there for me through the entire process. He is also currently treating my other baby who is an older cat dealing with health issues. Once again Dr. Krick has been incredibly supportive and diligent in making sure my baby gets the best care possible. He is patient in answering any questions and takes the time to be there for you and your pet as individuals. As far as genuine care and top notch medical care for your pets, theres no comparison to the staff and vets at Dog Cat & Bird Clinic.

I recently brought my cat, Puss in to be checked because hed been throwing up & crying & hiding. I knew something was wrong but wasnt quite prepared for the news I received after Puss was checked out. He had a serious heart problem and had thrown a clot which was lodged in his right paw . Due to the seriousness of his ailment and the pronosis, I decided to put Puss to sleep rather than have him suffer. They wete very compassionate with me and gave me all the time I needed to say my goodbyes before they put Puss to rest. I was very distraught but the doctor reassured me Id made the right decision.g run. Two days later I received a handwritten note from the doctor expressing his condences to me for my loss and again reassuring me Id done the right thing.

5 stars just isnt enough. Weve been taking our 9 year old dachshund here forever, but over the past 18 months or so hes had some minor/mild complications related to his oral hygiene and digestive system. Weve been working with Dr. Stancel, and hes simply been outstanding. First of all, hes just a nice guy and easy to work with. Secondly, hes always so helpful. If we ever have any concerns in between visits, we can leave a message and he always gets back to us in a very timely fashion. Beyond Dr. Stancel, the entire team here is just wonderful. The staff and technicians are always so nice and helpful, and they treat our dog as if he was their own. I cant say enough about Nutley Dog, Cat & Bird. They are simply the best!!!

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE !! ORIGINALLY I TOOK MY DOG THERE AND SAW DR.CRUPI WHO WAS GREAT. NEXT TRIP THERE I WAS THROWN TO SOMEONE ELSE TO SEE MY DOG. I WAS TOLD THE DOG HAD A "MASS" AT HER BUTT WHICH THIS OTHER VET (WHO SHOULD NOT EVEN BE CALLED A VET) TOLD ME IT WAS "JUST A MASS" AND NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT". AS IT TURNS OUT I TOOK MY DOG TO ANOTHER CLINIC AND IT TURNS OUT THE SO CALLED MASS IS A TUMOR AND IT WAS TESTED AND IS MALIGNANT. THIS DOG CAT & BIRD CLINIC DOES NOT BELONG TREATING ANY ANIMALS IF THEY CANT BE HONEST WITH YOU !!! I WONT EVEN RATE THEM A 1/2 STAR !!!!!!!!

Like the other reviewer, they always find time for emergencies. But more importantly, they care more about your pet than they do about the money. I was unemployed when yy dog was hit by a car, they didnt expect her to make it. She spent a week in their care and, knowing that I couldnt afford much, they only charged me for the supplies they used (food, bandages, xray film.. stuff like that). She received excellent care and is still around to day to welcome us home after a long day at work. If you need a vet, go see them. You and your pet will be SO glad you did.

This is my dogs primary vet and Ive had to come here on several occations because my dog constantly has digestive problems. My main problem with this place is that all they do is help my dogs symptoms...they never diagnose my dog. They will push all these tests and exams but when they come back negative, they dont give any helpful information going forward. Ive asked them what kind of food should i feed him or should i cook his food and they never give me an answer. Nice staff and vets but they dont really help..in my opinion.

Its hard to describe how great everyone here is. I have a shitzu who has chronic stomach issue. Dr. Stancel just loves on him and asks him questions. It would be easier if LILO answered, but nevertheless he figures out what bothering the little guy and gets him fixed up. I drive 25-30 minutes from Jersey City and I wouldnt change a thing. Thanks for always listening and being good at your job.

I have been using this animal clinic for 20 years. Dr Crupi is the best and any other vet in his office that I have seen has always been so caring and concerned that we always felt at ease. They always make time for emergencies and are always willing to make payment arrangements. I recommend this establishment to anyone who asks. They really care about your pets. Wendy

Dr. Crupi is fabulous. - Very knowledgeable (avian and dog). - Doesnt push when you are more holistic. - States the truth (like if your pet is overweight). - Expresses the pros and cons. - Has a great bedside manner. We have a parrot and a dog. This is our 6th avian vet for our parrot. We are glad we finally found a great one in time for when we now added a dog.

I have been bringing my dogs to Dr. Krick for over 10 years. He has always shown a great deal of genuine care for them. He explains any health issues thoroughly and my dogs have stayed healthy under his regular care. The office staff is also friendly and helpful.

this place is a complete rip off. they charged me for all sorts of services i didnt ask for. it ended up costing me 350 dollars to have my cat shaved. go somewhere else unless you expect to pay atleast that much
