Procedure date: March 7, 2017. Im taking the time to write this review so you know it has to be great. I only write when its really bad, or really great. This a GREAT place to go, and Dr. Geddes-Bruce is the best doctor Ive ever seen. Out of all, or any doctor, she is the most patient, most kind, most friendliest of all. Throughout the procedure we talked about my life, her life, the nurses life and that made me feel really comfortable during the procedure. We were laughing and talking about serious stuff, all while she was working on me. I was so into talking with them that it took my mind off of being nervous and having uneasiness with Dr. Geddes-Bruce doing the procedure and not Dr. Nikolaides. I had met with him a few months earlier, so I felt comfortable with him already. So, I did my pre-op with her and had a ton of questions because shes going to be the one doing thousands of dollars of work to my body. She answered all my questions on that day, the nurse answered more over the phone after I left, and she answered questions on the day of the procedure. Im telling you, this lady is both professional yet personnel with her patients. During the procedure of the inside and outside of my thighs she had me get up so she could look at my thighs and she would go around my body to make sure they are proportionate to the rest of me. She did that three times, shed have me get up, shed look at me from all angles, make more marks and then I would lay down again. I liked that she did that, took the effort and time to be sure that I was going to look normal, Oh, and that procedure...on me...took six hours. I didnt get out of there until 7 oclock, and we started at 1 oclock. She and her nurse were still very friendly and bubbly as in the beginning. OH, I also need to mention that I had to pee like every 45 min, it was crazy. The only thing I can think of is the stuff they give you to relax must have relaxed ALL of me. At one point during the procedure I even fell asleep. They put this very thin paper sheet over you, including your head so it makes it easier to not see them jamming something into your body. Pain wise, it was the numbing shots that were maybe painful. I say painful because they were just deep shots, not to bad. Youll be glad you got them though because afterwards you cant feel anything. I think at one point I did feel her during the procedure, just a little, but they immediately gave me another numbing shot and I was fine from then till the end. I just cant get over how good Dr. Geddes-Bruce is, she even called me that weekend to see how I was doing. I was swelling a bit so she said the compression garment is to tight. She said to just get spanx and lay down with my feet above my heart. It only took a few hours for the swelling to go down. She called the next day to see how I was, and realize this is on the weekend. Its been a month since my procedure and I still text her from time to time with questions, and she responds within five to ten minutes. A doctor people... a doctor texts back!! Any ways, you couldnt pick a better doctor or facility. I cant say enough, as you can tell.

In August 2014 I went to Westlake Dermatology on Bee Caves Road for a facelift. I am extremely pleased with the results of my surgery, performed by Dr. Cameron Craven. The jowling that was under my chin Is completely gone, and my face looks at least 7 years younger. My family knew of this surgery, and I have received many compliments from family members about how good my face looks. Dr. Craven is a careful, conservative surgeon, and my face does not look at all “pulled back” or unnatural. Following my surgery, my face looks much better, and it also looks completely natural. Westlake Dermatology Clinic is a beautiful facility, and Dr. Craven and his staff are very well-organized. The medical staff pays great attention to personal detail, and are very concerned about your health and well-being. You will feel very well taken care of here. I give my highest recommendation to Dr. Craven and his medical staff at Westlake Dermatology. I am confident that if you are looking for a first rate surgeon who will do an excellent job, you need look no further than Dr. Cameron Craven.

Dr. Craven and his team at Westlake Cosmetic Surgery are a blessing. I highly recommend them to anyone even remotely curious about looking and feeling better about themselves. I initially came to him for a corrective lip procedure (my top lip was razor thin), and was very happy with the results. These results had me open for another possibility- somewhere between three pregnancies and a hysterectomy to treat the "C" word, I lost my sense of femininity. One day I just "woke up" and saw a scarred, saggy version of the happy woman I used to be. I felt strong on the inside but my outer appearance didnt mirror this. After tons of due diligence, I decided to have the "mommy makeover" procedure (tummy tuck and breast lift/aug). The staff was there before, during, and after to answer all my questions... and still are. I had just hoped to look like myself again- and got even better! Dr. Craven is an artist...TRULY. I look amazing and my husband cant keep his hands off of me- even my marriage has changed! THANK YOU SO MUCH! A.W.

My breast augmentation surgery by Dr. Craven at Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I was able to schedule appointments with ease, had a maximum wait time of 5 minutes, and was treated with such friendliness and respect at each visit by every member of the staff. Dr. Craven was so accessible and informative about the surgery itself and the pros/cons of each available option. Hes truly gifted and such a rock star at performing breast augmentation surgery. This was my first surgery and my fears were kept a minimum because of the warm, convenient onsite surgical suite and being in such skilled hands. As moms we too often put our families first and getting this surgery was something I did to make myself look and feel better than ever! Dr. Craven made my dreams come true and I had such an amazing experience.

I have seen Piipar Allen, a PA, at the Westlake location and now the Lakeway location for several years and I would never see anyone else for my dermatology needs. She is personable, professional, and understanding. She goes out of her way to listen to anything you have questions about, and will take as much time as needed to make you feel better than when you walked in. I have seen Piipar for the medical side as well as the cosmetic side. After every cosmetic procedure, she will call and see how youre doing, even if its the weekend. On the medical side, she will give you as many samples as you need to get by when youre on a budget, and write prescriptions for inexpensive medications which is incredibly helpful for a poor college student like myself. The entire staff is fantastic, and I would recommend the office to anyone.
