I am a woman in my 60’s who is both an RN and a former skin care consultant, so I feel uniquely qualified to comment on Aesthetica Medspa and its owners Drs. David and Sharon Sneed. I’ve been coming to the Medspa and the Sneeds since 2005, when serious age began affecting my skin. I come in some 2-3 times a year for various treatments. I especially love Dr. Sharon’s photofacials, which are pulsed light treatments meant to decrease pore size, zap age spots, and keep facial redness at bay. For extraneous reasons, I had a couple of photofacials elsewhere recently and won’t make that mistake again. Those cheap photofacials simply didn’t work, unlike the MedSpa version. In any event, after 8 years, I am pleased to say that I am often complimented on my skin. I am never taken to be as old as I am. No facelift here.....just great skin care products along with cutting-edge technology. After seeing Dr. David as my skin specialist all this time, I only recently began seeing him as my personal GP, and like him very much in that role. He listens, he’s thorough, he’s responsive, he’s full of useful suggestions. Plus, his office operation is highly professional. Clean, classy, humming, prompt, well-equipped--you name it--these folks just GET IT. Three months after my initial workup I feel 100% better……even though I didn’t think I felt bad to begin with! But everyone needs good medical oversight and it was time to get some. How convenient to have found it right next door to my skin salon . Part of what I appreciate is that Dr. Sneed incorporates holistic medicine into his traditional medical practice. As a former ICU nurse of course I know that mainstream medicine has its place. But I firmly believe in alternative approaches to the day-to-day challenges associated with aging. Natural therapies like vitamins, supplements, and natural hormone replacement really work, and guess what? They are arent toxic.

Ill never go anywhere else! A perfectionists dream team! From top of the line procedures to wise consults about your current issues (to future ones!), Kristin Gunn and her crew are beyond professional, knowledgeable and genuine. I trust these gals with any procedure they suggest. That is saying a lot from someone who has gone thru a good deal of trauma and damage done by other places. Kristin has even politely refused certain procedures because they were either not necessary or appropriate for me. Profit-driven they are not. Results-demanding they are. From the moment enter their offices, you are welcomed with sweet temperaments and most importantly experienced aestheticians. No question (or series thereof!) is swept over. Youll only find full disclosure here. AMS is up on tone latest and greatest, push nothing on you, making you look and feel fabulous and special. Surgery is a thing of the past with what these ladies can do!! Indi

I really enjoyed my facial with Linda and the results have been superb. I booked the $225 package $150 special for new customers. My thoughts on the facial you can tell right away that Linda has loads of experience and she spends most of the time talking to you about your skin care problems and what results you are looking for which I really enjoyed her approach is so different from all other theoreticians - she went right to the root of the problem and started giving me advice on what I need to do keep the results lasting.Lastly, this is not a facial for the faint heated. Linda attacks the problems with gusto and your skin will come out looking amazing and stay that way for days but she wont be holding your hand thru the process. I really like her methods and the results have been fabulous so I have found my personal anesthetic thanks, AS, for the recommendation .

I went here last year I had the VI Peel it didnt work at all so I didnt bother going back I thought maybe because of my complexition but my friend just had one done and her skin is peeling mine didnt peel at all I know everyone skin is different I just didnt see any difference so if anyone knows of a better or stronger peel i should try for darker skin let me know or if you recommend another place i should try please let me know. I know two stars is pretty low but i paid 200 for nothing sorry i should have done this review when i first went but i couldnt think of the name until i saw it on groupon so i thought id share my results good day the staff was really nice and the office was really cute but the peel failed big time

Love love love these ladies!!!! Go and see Kelly for the most amazing facials and Kim is the Picasso of injectibles! This was my first time to have anything injected. She set my mind at ease and made me comfortable, asked lots of questions to determine what would be best for me and I barely felt a pinch when she did the injections. This is coming from someone who is a huge babe with pain by the way. Go see them and say Jess Poessiger sent you! Just want to add a note a day after: My skin looks INCREDIBLE the day after my facial with Kelly, GO SEE HER! My lips day after: Barely bruised, not swollen and looks phenomenal! Go see Kim!

Wow, What a great experience.Dr. Sneed and his staff did a fantastic job. I thought all I wanted was Botox. They recommended Voluma in my cheeks and Juvederm in the jowl lines. The recovery was no big deal. Very little bruising (a spot or two.) The results were so dramatic!! Even I was amazed. I went back 2 weeks later and took another set of photos. I could not believe the change. I knew I liked what I was seeing in the mirror, but the before photos brought it to life. To think all I wanted was Botox. My friends keep asking me if Ive lost weight!!! It is great. I am 100% satisfied customer .

So I finally decided on getting Botox/fillers, big decision. Was very nervous. I did a lot of research and decided that Kim was by far the best in Austin. She came highly recommended. I can honestly say it was the best decision. I came out looking wonderful. Kim was very knowledgeable and skilled. She listened to my concerns. Was very understanding, gentle and extremely caring. Kim looked at my face and was very honest. She didnt put product where I didnt need it, my face looks so natural. I would HIGHLY recommend her. I cant thank her enough for giving me back my youth.

Love love love this med spa! As we all know, accuracy and expertise along with a completely natural look are imperative when it comes to injections! Kim and Tracy are specialists and perfectionists with Botox, Dysport, and all fillers like Radiesse and Restylane. The approach taken here is unmatched too. They dont talk around your questions, but listen attentively and address them head-on with the knowledge to assist you in moving into the months and years to come to look the best. They are totally service oriented and not money driven. Gotta love that too.
