I have taken my daughter to this office to see Dr Evers twice now. The first time was to see what we could do about a small wart that had been on her face for a while. She tried freezing it off and it did not respond at all to it. I was charged $160 alone for just the treatment, not even the office visit, for something that did NOT even work. I came back a week later for her to try something else. Dr Evers said she was going to put something on the wart that would create a blister and then the wart would fall off with the blister. She said she had to be careful not to touch the skin so we do not end up with any scarring. While applying it she accidently hit a piece of her skin and rushed to wipe it off. She then put a band aid over it and said take off in two hours. We took it off in two hours and after about four hours my daughter started complaining of pain and heat. I called and left a message for the nurses line to ask what is the best treatment for the pain. I received no call back, a week later I noticed that where Dr Evers had hit her skin it was blistering bad. At about week two I noticed that the actual area of scarring is VERY large and it is below where she hit her skin. I left a message for the nurses line again asking what should I put on it to prevent any further scarring of the area. I once again received NO call back. We are now at week four and my daughter has a large scar and this office could care less. I have over $200 in bills after insurance paid out their portion and a five year old little girl with a scar on her face. Do NOT take your children here!! This office has no care whatsoever about their patients or families!
