My beloved Tokyo had a terrible accident. I was so concerned and stressed out. I searched for a place that was open on a Saturday night after 8:00 pm. We called the Veterinary Urgent Care Center in Quincy and the assistant whom answered the phone was very calm and knowledgeable. Tokyo was seen right away first by the nurse - who by the way was so great with him. I cant even describe how they helped him calm down and made both of us feel so welcomed. Then he was examined by Dr. DAndrea who is Simply The Best a true "GOD SENT"! Dr. DAndrea is very professional and caring and I will never go anywhere else for Tokyo. She has a patient for life after tonight. It is a wonderful urgent care center that goes above and beyond. Very competent, courteous, personable, and the quality of care is excellent. They are extremely affordable and if you have ever been to an emergency pet clinic you pay at least $150.00 to be seen. Then you pay for all other services needed. To be seen at VUCC it is almost half of that price so you can already figure how your money is going such a longer way towards the care of your pet at the Center. The clinic is immaculate, pleasant and conveniently located. The entire staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs and all are very proactive in the care of pets.

I dont usually take the time to write reviews, but this place deserves it! I took my dog here for intestinal issues. I was concerned with his condition but it was a Sunday and my vet is closed on sundays. I started looking online for veterinary hospitals and saw the site for the urgent care clinic. I had never heard of it, but the online reviews were great so I gave it a try. I could not be happier with my decision to give this place a try!! The staff were very friendly and compassionate. The nurse took her time with the intake, and listened to everything that was going on with my dog. She also took the time to do discharge teaching and help me out of the office with our food and meds. Dr DAndrea was thorough, patient, and extremely professional. She was great with my dog, and was actually able to perform a full exam on my very excitable 90lbs chocolate lab. Im still not sure how she got him to stand still, and be quiet. She even stopped to give him a drink of water during the exam. They are truly animal lovers and seemed extremely compassionate about their jobs! I highly recommend checking this place out!! I have two dogs and Im sure well be using this facility again! Thanks to all the staff!

I brought my 8 month old French bulldog to visit the Veterinary Urgent Care Center today due to an unexpected consumption of a wild mushroom yesterday afternoon. After monitoring my pup throughout the night, I decided it was necessary to have a piece of mind that this mushroom was not life threatening. I had read that wild mushrooms come in all different grades of toxicity; and it was very possible, although she made it through the night, that it could long term effects on her liver and kidneys. This was by far one of the best, if not the best encounters I have had with veterinary professionals. I cant say enough about my positive experience. From the friendly greeting at the door, to the unexpected nurturing and extremely knowledgeable information I received during my visit. I left feeling reassured and confident in my pets after care. I cant say enough great things about my experience. Feeling very blessed to have this facility open with such convenience. I will surely be back if any other emergencies arise, and better yet I will no longer have to travel to my nearest VCA. Thanks again!

Tonight we brought our dog in to see Dr DAndrea because we suspected a UTI. Our regular vet was closed for the weekend and thought our only other option was the 24hr Animal Hospital. Thankfully we found Veterinary Urgent Care Center. We conveniently scheduled our appt on line within the hour. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by Ashley who got us registered and settled into an exam room. Next Dr DAndrea saw us and we couldnt have been more pleased. Urinalysis was done and culture being sent out. We left with a treatment plan and antibiotics. We are very happy that we now have treatment options in Quincy for after hour and weekend care rather than using the 24hr animal hospital. Dr DAndrea is very professional, compassionate, and personable. We would not hesitate using this practice again. Cost was about what we pay at our reg vet, maybe slightly more but much less than 24hr Animal Hospital. Ashley and Elle were wonderful too!

I cannot say enough nice things about Veterinary Urgent Care Center on Quincy Ave. My cat was limping tonight and seemed uncomfortable, but our regular vet was already closed. I found VUCC through a google search for nearby emergency vets, and was able to book an appointment right on their website. The facilities are state-of-the-art, the staff is lovely and the cost was much less than we would have paid at an emergency vet. Plus, they have hours every day and are there until 10 Monday-Saturday. Kitty is now high as a kite, I got to see what a cat tail looks like on an X-ray and we are likely dealing with a sprained kitty ankle (not the ACL tear that we originally suspected). Had we had to wait until tomorrow to have him seen, I would have been a basket case. Highly, highly recommend this practice and I think they fill a really important void in pet care!

My dog has been feeling weak with vomit and diarrhea. Her usual vet was fully booked and had no time to see her. I found VUCC on google search, one of the few places open on Sunday. Booked an appointment online and brought her in a few hours later. The clinic was clean and staffs were friendly. Wait time was very resonable. Vet saw her, got some blood test done, explained everything with patience. My dog was diagnosed with kidney failure and the vet explained all our options. We decided to take her to the hospital for overnight observation and fluids. VUCC contacted the ER for us and send the lab results over. The process was smooth. The price for our visit wasnt cheap compared to her usual vet, but much cheaper than ER if you need a last minute appointment. I would recommend this clinic.

I tried to get an appointment with my regular vet and was tiold they didnt have an opening until Thursday ( 4 days away) and they would waitlist me. I had heard about the Veterinary Urgent Care Center (VUCC) on Quincy Is Everything. I went online and was able to schedule online and get a same day appointment. I called to make sure the price was not excessive and was happy to learn the visit price was more than &40 less than my vet was going to charge for an urgent visit. I was very happy with the friendly staff and with Dr. Christie DAndrea. They were able to perform the lab test on site and tell me results before I left.

First time visit to VUCC this evening and it was fantastic! My dog, Mac, had a double ear infection and the vet we usually bring him to had no availability until next week. The vet tech brought us into a room as soon as we checked in and didnt need to wait long to be examed by Dr. DAndrea. The price of the visit along with antibiotics was very reasonable. The hours at VUCC are great too as I work during the week and cant usually take off for vet visits. Highly recommended if you want professional service for your furry friend at a price that wont break the bank! Thanks again!
