Absolutely horrible experience here. It all started when we moved here and I wanted to find a new doctor. I made an appointment and brought all of my recent family history showing that my mom had battled breast cancer and got a double mastectomy. This appointment was an extremely nerve wrecking appointment for me. I sat down with the nurse, started talking about everything, she left and I assumed that she was going to let the doctor know of a bit of that history. I was wrong, doctor detrick came in and didnt even know, finally I told her since she happened to ask what all of the papers I had were.. anyways, she told me a genetic counselor would be calling me, this NEVER happened. Extremely rude and horrible of her to not take that step and actually set that call up for me. Second problem I had for when I became pregnant a few months ago, I went to the ER for abnormal bleeding, come to find out I had a subchorionc hemorrhage. Fast forward a week later at my first appointment, the doctor told me I should call if I had any more bleeding at all. Later that night I did and called and left a voicemail, the next day a women called me back and basically told me to expect a lot of blood... fast forward a week later, still bleeding, called back. They finally had me come in. I learned that I lost the baby. It was a horrible experience that could have been handled much differently. When I left the office that day I cancelled both of my upcoming appointments as I would no longer be needing to go. Their inconsiderate office called me not once, but twice reminding me of these appointments and then a third time the day of one to ask why I hadnt given blood. I mean, just HORRIBLE customer service. I will travel however far I need to for a good doctor when I do fall pregnant again. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I would never be able to fully express just how great my care was throughout my pregnancy and delivery of my son. Everyone in the office was exceptional, each and every person I interacted with made me feel cared for and took time to ease my fears as my pregnancy was complicated due to high blood pressure. Anna was my midwife, at the end of my pregnancy I saw her in the office twice a week and she always took extra time to sit and talk with me and answer my questions which was so very helpful during a very stressful and uncertaint time for me. Dr. Dietrich saw me in the office and always asked me if i had any questions, took time to listen and answer my questions. Dr. Dietrich delivered my son, I could not have been blessed with a better doctor and I am so thankful for her expertise and care. Martinsburg is very fortunate to have such a wonderful group for OBGYN services.

HORRIBLE practice. Not the least bit organized. Their clinical coordinator has an extreme attitude, and is rude. The midwife, Anna Kent, doesnt call with test results that are OFF THE CHARTS and considered emergency informtaion to maternal fetal medicine doctors. I went 2 weeks without knowing that my test results showed I am high risk for trisomy 18! This is not small bananas, thats a HUGE problem. I found out this informtaion about my test results from maternal fetal medicine doctors when I went for my 20 week scan. Switching practices immediately. Do not waste your time here, they dont care about their patients.

We met all of the OBs and they were all very nice and professional. Some of our wait times were long, but such is the business of having babies! Anna the midwife delivered our son and it was the most relaxed & calm delivery weve had (3rd pregnancy). When I came back in for my 6 week postpartum visit she actually took the time to discuss our options with me. I would recommend this office to my friends and family and Ive doctored in 3 different places in different geographic locations for OBGYN.

In the beginning of pregnancy I enjoyed this practice, now Im so over it!!! You have to wait once in the room for over an hour, then once the doctors come in your rushed. They send you for test and then dont read them till you bring it up! They asked if I wanted to be checked for dialation instead of just doing it. How am I supposed to know if I should be checked or not! Its quite the money racket! Just sat in the room for an hour and 15 minutes to be seen for 3 minutes!!!!

Look, the doctors are great. I trust them whenever I go there. Just good luck getting them on the phone. Or ANYONE on the phone for that matter. I tried every option the recording gave me. Even options I didnt need, I was just desperate for an answer and maybe theyd direct me to where I needed to be. Nope, no answer on any line. Thats the worst part about this place. Not the facility, just getting someone on the phone is an absolute hassle.

Everytime I have come I have been shown positive care and anytime I call with concerns, one of the nurses always calls me back to answer my questions. I also received a diagnosis once that had me crying, and I wasnt able to be seen for like 2 weeks, but then a nurse called me to cheer me up and squeezed me in 1 week ahead. Thank you for caring.
