We just moved to Saint Helens and where pleased to see that there are so many vet clinics around to choose from. We picked this one because of the reviews. We have been here 3 times in the last year for 2 different services, both cat related. Thought these poor qualities were a fluke, and at this point they have all our records and is easy now. But we had to walk out of there prior to our appointment that we waited 40 minutes for while my cat was violently shaking in fear. After waiting paitently 30 minutes we asked if we could wait in a room kindly. At that point we waited 2 more minutes then the front counter girl (dont know her name, but has always been the same rude 35-40 year old girl) told one of the techs that we wanted to go into a room. I watched as they both rolled their eyes! The first time we were in there, that front desk girl was so rude, thought maybe she had a bad day. Then the second time in I listened as she helped somebody on the phone...she almost started angrily yelling at them and had a rude remark after hanging up. Maybe she has many life problems, but just a very bad person to put at the front desk of a clinic that treats our furry children. There are other places to choose from , maybe keep that in mind! I dont mind paying a little extra to not feel as if Im in a concentration camp.

Dr. Middle has taken care of my boxer Sissy since I first brought her home at 8 weeks. Dr. Middle spayed her, has given her all her vaccines (shots and nose sprays) and treated her allergies, and ear infections. He has poked and prodded and examined every bit of her. With all that said, she nearly does cartwheels when we pull into his parking lot. When we go in to the office she can hardly contain herself until she is in the exam room. She loves her vet visits. My first visit to Dr. Middle was because he was convenient. My second visit was because he was convenient and AFFORDABLE! Subsequent visits have been because Dr. Middle has taken such good care of Sissy, and she adores him. I now live 40 miles away but Sissy still sees Dr. Middle for all her care. By the way, the office staff is awesome, too.

Well I went to get my boy de-nutted. They gave me a price of what he would be with all the costs of the surgery $107.During surgery they call me and said that now we are looking at $300 because his nut is up there. I dont have that kind of cash and there was no way to set a payment with them.So now he has one nut in and one nut out, and Im supposed to make another appointment to get the other one at $200. This is bull. Then when I went to pay they ran the card and said they forgot they gave him a cone and I have to purchase that as well. I wont be going back. Not happy with how things went. They didnt inform me they had to a neuter and spay because of his nutty situation!!!

Ive been taking my pets to Dr. Middle since 1979 and will continue to until he retires, which hopefully wont be anytime soon. When my dog suddenly got a lump on his leg I tried to get into Dr. Middle but his schedule was packed so took him to another vet "just to have him checked out". The other vet said it was a tumor and would cost between $500-$900 for a biopsy. When I did get into Dr. Middle a week later he said it was just a nervous habit that the breed of dog I have creates and hed be fine. That was about 4 years ago, and my dog is still fine! Dr. Middle knows animals!

I wish I can rate higher I have 3 cats , 2 dogs ( corgis ) Not only have they done a amazing job ( not just the vet, the whole staff ) with all my animals , but the have made every effort for me to not come back (in a loving way!) Its EASY as a pet owner , to sniff out a vet that is a money hoarder. I dare you to try to seek a better price ( and time ) then here Praise!! Little town , all star practice My fur family is taken care of by pros No doubt about that!

In our years of owning pets and living in different towns, weve never had someone we called "our vet" till we found Dr. Middle. His card is always on the fridge and we never hesitate to call if we need something. Before cost was always an issue for us and I grew up on a farm so we handled a lot of animal care ourselves. With Dr. Middles rates I dont have to and have the confidence that my pets are getting great care. We also love this clinic for bording!

I took my Rat Terrier to Dr Robyn Rieger and was very pleased on how she listened to my concerns that my dog was having. She is very informative on what my dog had. She also got my dogs records from my former vets office in no time flat. She was able to tell me more about the labs that was done from the prior vets office. I would recommend Columbia Vet Clinic and Dr Rieger to everyone. She is also kind to my dog and the prices are very reasonable.

I called their number after being told by "Companion Veterinary Clinic" that the cost to have my cats tooth removed (cavity) would range from $350-$500. The Columbia vet clinic staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. They did the whole procedure for $83 and my furry little friend will no longer be in pain from her sore tooth. I highly recommend this vet!

Friendly service. The doctor was comfortable around my crazy dog even while she barked and growled. Ive been other places were they were scared and wanted to muzzle my pet but not this place. They were relaxed and helped my dog feel comfortable. Very reasonable prices and did not push products and services onto me that werent needed.

Dr. Middle is a wonderful veterinarian, He is kind and compationate and more informed than any other vet I have gone to. I have had a number of instances where a vet was stumped or gave a treatment that I was skeptical about, so then id go to Dr. Middle and he has always either figured it out of given the right tratment,

Kind and caring vet & staff. Dr Robyn Rieger knows her stuff and listens to my concerns, answering questions patiently. She is good with our cats and dogs (even our trembling "dont touch my feet" dog), as well as with the people end of the relationship. Highly recommended.

Dr. Rieger is fantastic and took great care of our dog, managing her chronic issues to the point that she has minimal issues. She even called me when a new and promising treatment became available!

Smelly, dirty! Why would I want my animal to be seen in a dump!? What a crappie person on the phone I had talked to. Better service elsewhere by far. I have no idea why there are so many 5 stars.
