My wife and I have been taking both are dogs and cats here for years. You will not find a more honest or reasonable veterinary in town. Doctor Johnson is especially talented. The one time she could not diagnosis the problem she sent us to a specialist that was able to determine the problem (Lupus). The office is rather small and the difficult to find, but well worth the effort. We have always been given a full and accurate estimate for more advance services and the front desk handles the billing without any complications or errors. You will not find more professional, honest or reasonably price veterinary service in either Springfield or Eugene.

A stray cat was dying in my driveway and after trying to water and feed it with it not responding, I drove it to the nearest vet clinic...mohawk vet hospital. They told me to take it to a different clinic and when I refused because I had to get back to work, along with not being a courier service, the front desk girl threatened to call the cops on me...because I wouldnt taxi a dying cat somewhere else. I guess if I was dying and drove to the nearest clinic, theyd probably tell me to leave and drive somewhere else too. Pretty sad to turn away a dying cat when it is your job to help save animals. I did my part, the rest was on them.

Their website says to "drop by any time for excellent service." So I went in with my 2 month old puppy for his first checkup. The receptionist never smiled and told me they only do appointments. When I told her their website says they do she said "oh, well our websites been acting up recently." Come on. Websites are not hard to update. She also mentioned there was only one doctor on staff there so it could be difficult to get an appointment or good attention, but I was so put off by the receptionist that I simply took my service elsewhere.

Sorry Suzie u had a bad expeirence, I bring 4 adult cats and 2 adult dogs to this place and I have no problem at all. Unless U want to pay for testing just like going 2 a regular doc......... how are they 2 know w/out results from labs. Its the blood work that tells them whats going on.. not just by looks or complaints.. those are only signs n symptoms.. the blood work tells it all.. (mostly) I like these docs.. and staff.. and I can weigh my animals anytime in the lobby for free..... They do a great job.. always professional.

This hospital has gone above and beyond my expectations!! I am on low income and asked them in tears and fear for my kittys life if they could help me financially and they DID! They are not in any way shape or form greedy or uncaring and in fact, quite the contrary! Ive even been helped over the phone regarding things to look for, when I should be worried and when not to be. I have to bring my baby in today in fact and I am VERY worried about her, but I know that they will do everything they can to heal whatever is going on!!

Theyre very quick to take you in, since its a small clinic. Its not the nicest looking place. The vet insinuated/and or made us feel like our furry friend was in questionable care. As far as price goes, I am not sure if it was unfair or overpriced. This is the first place weve gone. Definitely going elsewhere next time.

The BEST service I have ever had for animal care. OUTSTANDING STAFF who really care about their customers and pets. I have had a few bad experiences with other vets in the area, but these folks do it well everytime. Great rates. Thank you all so much.

I took my cat here three times for the same problem. Each time they told me something different. One vet saw me as quickly as possible and did not seem to care at all. They just wanted to get as much money out of me as possible.

I love, love, love this vet clinic. Ive had to take my dog in several times this summer for hot spots. The team is professional and my dog is loved the whole time shes there! Thank you Mohawk Vet Clinic!
