I have been I have been taking my furry family to Northtown Animal Hospital since 1984, for 30 years! I absolutely feel they have received the finest care possible. I currently see Dr. LaMar and Dr. Mckenzie for my golden retriever, Chloe. They immediately put her at ease at her first puppy visit and she always enjoys going! They welcome her by name and even sit of the floor with her while we talk! She is now 13 years old, happy and healthy, and I attribute their guidance to a large part of that. Most recently I had the sad experience of losing both of my cats due to old age. Both of the doctors could not have been kinder or more compassionate. They made a very difficult decision much easier to bear. I have great confidence in the care that my pets have received and highly recommend them to any prospective pet owner!

I absolutely love Northtown Animal Hospital. All three Drs are wonderful. I first went there to get a second opinion after my dog was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer and the compassion that Dr Goetz showed for both me and my dog was palpable. She did what she could to make the remaining days for my dog and I as comfortable as possible. When the dreaded day came that I had to say goodbye to my pup, she was there for both of us. She even went so far as to make a donation in my dogs name after she crossed the rainbow bridge. I have been back many times since then with my two new pups, and Dr Goetz, Dr LaMar, and Dr Brown have all been consistently amazing. The vet techs and the girls in the front office are all wonderful as well. Thank you to all of you!

Northtown Animal Hospital is staffed with professional compassionate human beings. Whether I am in with my dog and cats for a routine check up or a worrying health crisis, I have always felt that I and my animals, are heard and well cared for. I have joked many times with my friends that I wish that I could receive my health care here as well. To illustrate just how much I appreciate the care they provide: I moved to Napa a year ago and still continue to commute for vet care to Santa Rosa because I do not want to give up their services. Thank you Northtown. . .

I am glad we live so close to Northtown Animal Hospital in northeastern Santa Rosa. The welcoming staff and competent doctors have provided prompt and excellent care for our cats and dog over the years. Appointments can generally be made for the same day, and in an emergency they will go out of their way to make room in the daily schedule to see your pet. They offer overnight care, and will phone your home to follow up on the status of your pet after critical visits. Thank you Northtown for being there for us!

I love them so much! My first visit ever, I was on the floor with my kitty in the exam room because he was freaking out some. When the doctor came in, instead of chasing him around the room to put him on the table, she sat on the floor with us and let him go to her while she checked him out. Ive brought him back a few times for shots and check ups and they have always been so accommodating and attentive. I couldnt be happier that Ive found this animal hospital to take care of my fur baby

The staff at Northtown has been spectacular. I never met anyone who was less than 110% and did everything they could to take care of my pets. When it came time to put down my cat, their compassion for the whole procedure was really helpful to get through the pain. They have a wide selection of pet medications and at reasonable prices. Their 1st consultation was free and anything a place can do to help make things affordable is always great.I highly recommend them to anyone.

My pets have been going to Northtown ever since our main vet moved there. I have had nothing but impeccable service. Dr. Brown and Dr. Lamar are both outstanding in care. They both are caring and personable during each visit. Recently we had an older dog have some issues, Dr. Lamar was wonderful and helping us with what was happening. Post-appt. she checked in on us and was responsive. The team at Northtown at the front desk to the back are all WONDERFUL. Thank you all

They are the best vets you will ever have. They are practical in their approach, they go the extra mile to take care of your four legged family member(s) and treat them like their own. They do follow up phone call to see how your baby/babies are doing. Dr Lamar and her Staff are great, I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful and trusting place to take my beloved four-legged daughters. I have been bringing my cats to Northtown since 2000 and have found the vets, techs and staff to be wonderfully caring and practical. They are sweet with my critters and were aware of the necessity to limit expenses and charges when we were faced with a sick older kitty. When we had to put our cat down, they were sensitive and gentle. This is really a great practice -- great technical expertise, pleasant to work with, and kind.

It may not have been an overly good visit... We found a black cat that had really taken to us about a month ago and today we found he was hurt. The doctor was so very nice and helpful offering everything she could do for him... In the end it wasnt meant to be... But the doctor (Im sorry but I cant remember her name now) was just so nice and beyond helpful... If you see this me and my mom say thank you for helping sugar bear

Can I rate 100 stars - cause I would. Theyre an intelligent, caring, and organized practice and though we had to put our dog down with them (so not necessarily a happy memory here), they sent a follow up card with a paw shaped plantable flower and also donated to the UC Davis Vet Companion Program in her name (UCD sent us a thank you letter informing us), so touching and thoughtful. I cant recommend enough!

I have several animals & have also been involved in rescue for many years & Dr Brown & the staff & other vets at the hospital have always been there to help. Dr Brown was very caring & loving when I have had to say good bye to several of my furry family members. All the staff are also wonderful with all my furry family & myself. My family has been bringing our pets here from the when I was only 7 years old. Now I bring my dog here as an adult. The vets are all wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable. They will call and check hiw my dog is doing after I bring her in, and always take the time to answer all my questions. As with most good care facilities, it is not cheap, but the wellbeing of my pets is worth it.
