Worst veterinarian experience I have ever had. Got there an hour early, they let us wait in a room with our cat, and then saw us 15-20 minutes late. instead of listening to us when we told them we were ready to let our pet go, that we knew its quality of life was bad, we got an hour long lecture on why we should force our 18 year old cat to go on medication for its thyroid, arthritis, and try to stretch it out for another year of not being able to walk, jump, clean itself or use the bathroom. The vet went on about the tests we would need and the extra care, she honestly didnt seem to care about how happy the cat was, I honestly feel that as long as he cat was still alive, they didnt have to feel bad about putting it down. Now after paying for that office visit, I have to take my cat to another vet, and pay another office visit, to let it die with some dignity. I have never had someone make me feel so bad for trying to do the right thing. Im just sick about it.

The issue is not with their care- they will REALLY see if your cat is sick, but pay attention. Can you ever get out of there for less than $200? If you get out for under $100- do they all of a sudden start acting differently? All happy to see you, caring, concerned, understanding, quick with treatment... until you say no to something absurd that is not your cats symptoms for a test that does not make any sense... they say your cat needs to be on wet food and come back for more tests in a few days, then give you a bag of Royal Cannin after making you pay for the wet food even though you have told them the brand you have at home, that is a better brand and the reasons why-but they cut you off saying your cat HAS to be on Royal Cannin. WTH?? YES, you will get a lot of good treatment, weather your cat needs it or not!

I really love Cat Care and Dr Shea! They REALLY care for my 2 cats and 2 rabbits. When we go for an appt, we plan on being there a while because Dr Shea really takes the time to check on our babies. Her exams are the most thorough I have found anywhere. She always provides all options and is VERY scientific about her approach and prescribing. I really appreciate the fact that they only see rabbits and cats, because they truly are experts and it shows. I HIGHLY recommend them for all feline and rabbit needs. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The techs are kind and loving to our pets..... I cant say enough good things about them!

We have been taking our cat here for two years. The staff are professional, polite and foster a safe environment (which is great if your animal is scared/apprehensive about the visit). I have interacted with two doctors at the office, both of which are very knowledgeable, gentle and have been practicing in the Eugene area for multiple decades. Prices for treatment and products are reasonable and affordable (including for students on a budget). The staff is accommodating when scheduling appointments and we have experienced nothing but great service.

I wish I had as good of luck finding a doctor for myself as I found here for my cats. One of my cats is a former wild stray that took over a year of patient coaxing to become trusting of humans. His life outdoors left him with many battle scars and physical issues that needed attention. The gentle handling and loving attention he received here was heart-warming. Of course, hes such an adorable guy now, how could they resist? But, Ive rarely had a vet that didnt treat my pet as a means to an end

I cant explain how great my experience was. My cat was recently banned from another vet in town while trying to get her temperature taken, if you wanted a barometer on how great my cat does at the vet typically. This time, she was calm, got a vaccine, and a full health checkup without even a sound. The staff was friendly and knew exactly what to do to keep my 9 pound ball of terror in check. An amazing experience, I would recommend this place to anyone.
