Unfortunately I find myself in a position where I have no alternative but to write this review. I had made an appointment a week earlier. The lady who spoke with me mentioned either I take the only available appointment for today (during school hours) or wait till mid July for the next appointment. Since it was a well check up for my daughter who turned 10, I took the am appointment and we went to see the dentist. Keep in mind this is a well checkup. There is nothing wrong with her teeth and she doesnt have any dental ailments. After reaching there 15 minutes early, I was given a pile of paperwork to fill and sign. There were 6 pages to be precise. I wish they had told me earlier about the half dozen sheets and in that case I would have gone even earlier. This is almost end of the school year. There are quizzes everyday and a lot of the material is being covered end of term. So if I had known earlier there were a ton of papers to be read and signed beforehand, I would have gone earlier to save time. After about 20 minutes (with all ensuing paperwork signed) we were ushered in to the patient room where much to my concern, they brought in more paperwork. I was asked to sign on a paper saying, "I am giving consent for imaging" When I told them I didnt want her X rays done since there was nothing wrong with her, they insisted it was mandatory. And in case I dont want her exposed to radiation, I have to sign a disclosure waiving my right so that they can perform the X ray, on her, only if the need arises! When I said I dont want my child to get X rays done nor would I like to sign the waiver, then essentially I was shown the door. There were no other options left. It was such a waste of time! All because I didnt comply to their wishes (for getting imaging done) I was given no other alternatives. What is this with dentists? Why are they always insisting upon imaging when a child is perfectly healthy and apparently has no ailment? And why will there be so much of paperwork, which means I am essentially entrusting them with a lot of personal information, of which they have no need of? How can the process be made more transparent and generally a trust created between the patient and the dentists office.

Dont really know why my first review didnt post, but anyhow...I went in Thursday, January 26, 2017 to begin part one of my treatment and as I stated before I was still a total wreck. Ms. Kelly knew it, and she did everything she could to have me relax. We began my treatment and she really took her time with me. She made sure I was a 100% comfortable at all times, and when she saw I wasnt, she didnt hesitate to stop and go get Dr. Pressley. Never once did he hesitate to come in, or act like I was getting on his nerves. He came on in and did what he had to do to make sure I couldnt feel any pain. Ms. Kelly was right there holding my hand through it all. One thing I can say, it didnt once feel it was just Business, it felt like I was apart of their Family. Im so glad I found them and thats one 30 minute ride one way, Ill take anytime verses going 5 minutes up the street from my house to another dentist office I wont name to be treated like a dollar! Thanks so much guys.......As I stayed before You Guys Rock and I Love You Ms. KELLY. If I could Ill give you all 100 STARS!!!!!!

I made an appointment after getting a Groupon. I have high anxiety when going to the dentist and have put off a check up and cleaning much longer than I should have. After filling out the initial paperwork, I waited no longer than a few minutes before I was taken back. My hygienist Kelly was very patient with me. She asked me throughout if I was doing okay and had the heavy task of cleaning my sensitive teeth. When the dentist came in, they went over my x-rays and showed me areas of concern. It was nice to see it, instead of just being told you need additional work with no proof. They offered to take more x-rays, at no cost at a later date to check those troubled areas, but didnt try to make it sound like something immediate needed to be done. I do have to go back for a filling, but felt reassured they were only doing work that needed to be done - my dental anxiety stems from dentist filling any and every little thing, even though it probably wasnt necessary.

While I have had positive experiences in the past, I will not return to this office. This morning, after rearranging my work schedule for an appointment (and giving up paid work), they declined to perform my cleaning. Their insurance coordinator falsely claimed my insurance had lapsed. The receptionist verified the information, but neither her nor the insurance coordinator noticed that they had made an error in the member ID number. Obviously, mistakes happen, but thats why you double check. Not a single person in that office is smart enough to figure out that they made a typo or to double check that number. There are too many other good dentists out there to deal with the hassle of multiple phone calls back and forth and rescheduling when the insurance coordinator doesnt know how to do her job. You can do better than this office.

I never ever thought in my life I would be writing a review of a Dentist. However Dr. Tomasheski at the [Riccobene Apex location] was very thorough and explained what he was doing as he went along examining my recent treatment I had previously done. The staff as well were very helpful they will work with you on your insurance and explain in detail what you will be looking at treatment wise. Big plus is, he thoroughly takes his time and hes very much patient with you, and his concerns for making sure what you need gets done is AWESOME! Thank you Dr. Tomasheski & Riccobene Associates of Apex for taking such good care of me.

Lori and Dr.Tomasheski have been absolutely wonderful. They prioritize my comfort and make sure that my dental plan is beneficial to my oral health in the long run. They triple checked their work on my fillings and made sure I felt comfortable and that I was content with the results. They even fixed one of my old fillings while giving me my new fillings to assure that my teeth would be in good condition. On top of their excellent work, every staff member I have encountered has been very kind.

Dr. Schrader and Dr. Tomasheski are both TOP-NOTCH dentists! Ive been a patient with Riccobene since 2013. Everytime Ive had to go in for a appointment its been a pleasant experience. I cant brag enough about Riccobene. Ive also had cleanings by both Kelly and Lara. These young ladies do a great job! Excellent service always! If youre trying to find a dentist office that will make you feel comfortable, I highly recommend Riccobene. Looking forward to my next visit!

I was worried about my gums, and Lauren successfully squeezed me in THE DAY I called! Incredibly kind staff. I had a Groupon purchase, and for $39, they gave me xrays and the dentist looked over the area I was concerned about. The whole atmosphere is nice and elegant. I am very grateful for their sense of urgency to get me seen, and upmost professionalism the entire experience. Thank you Riccobene Associates!
