7.15.14 The worst customer service ever!! Their front desk representative Leana is despicable; mere misrepresentation of this dental office. Ive been with this dentistry for quite some time and I must say on July 15, 2014 was the worst experience ever. If it wasnt for the my son having routine braces adjusted, I would definitely dismiss this practice altogether. Leana, is outright rude, ineffective, and inconsiderate. Upon our check in, she was very abrasive and incompetent. Lacks personality and work etiquette. She informed me that she cancelled both my sons appointment without even recognizing my sons were upstairs (orthodontists, the same office) on their first visit that we were present and serviced. This goes to show, this office is inefficient, unorganized, not attention-detailed in coordinating appointments like upstairs. One would think they share the same system. Never had a problem with upstairs. But its the downstairs front desk that ruins this practice! While inquiring her reason for cancelling our appointments, her facial expressions displayed carelessness as she shrugged her shoulders directly and boldly stated "thats not my problem"!! I had to dismiss my kids before addressing this in the same mannerism boldly and directly but without causing an inappropriate scene due to her blatant, negative attitude. For I know her nasty attitude will take her no where far in life anyways. My reaction was to resolve this conflict effectively. So, Immediately, I asked for the office manager in her presence; who instantly did nothing to rectify the situation as Leana still sat in her same disposition as if she knew nothing would be done about it. This assured me, this is something of the norm; her behavior is the same regularly. Yet, for the office manager to respond nonchalant, lets me know exactly how this clinic is poorly and inadequately run. Not to mention, to get a referral authorized is a marathon in itself. This office definitely depicts the worst customer service Ive ever experienced in all my 10 years of being in Raleigh. Overall, I can not rate them because customer service can make or break a business. That experience has definitely broken me. I will be inquiring other dental practices since they appointed me this option in their show of disregard for my experience. Trust me, you would not be making a bad decision should you take your business elsewhere. As for the dentists, partners, or whomever the owner/boss or in charge of operations other than the office manager I spoke to, they should be appalled in how their office is run and represented. It takes away from the whole experience even if the dental service was pleasant, it most definitely starts at the front door but should always end with customer/patient satisfaction. Be blessed and be encouraged. There are places that will appreciate YOU, the ones who make their company grow!! Rate--Hated it

I went to them as my dentist and an oral Surgery consult (recommended by the dentist). The dentist appointment went well with friendly staff in that office. My only reservation about my dentist appointment is the dentist "couldnt" evaluate the need to remove my wisdom teeth, so he referred me to their oral surgery office. He didnt discuss anything about it after saying I can make an appointment by calling. At the oral surgery office, the receptionist tried to tell me they would inform me of the cost for the consult AFTER the appointment! Since the dentist never said anything about the cost or if my insurance could cover it, that upset me. I asked for the price because they might not get paid since I didnt know if I could afford it and she gave me an amount. She said I may not have a charge in the end but didnt clarify why. This put me off and I hadnt even gone to the appointment yet! The staff during the consult were friendly and explained everything well. After the appointment they give you quotes for the surgery, they were broken down nicely and were easy to understand. They made me sign and initial all the pages of the quotes saying I understood if my insurance didnt cover the costs I was responsible, but she couldnt tell me in what cases my insurance wouldnt cover it. I found them to be very pushy about scheduling the appointment as well because when I said I would call in to schedule due to my work schedule, she huffed and got agitated. At that point I paid for my portion of the consult after insurance and left unhappy with her customer service. I also called their other office in Garner to schedule the appointment but since it is another dentist I would need to pay for another consult and get paperwork submitted to my insurance again. That office advised me to call the Wake Forest office for scheduling, I didnt want to deal with them again! One of biggest detractors I can give this office is their parking. They have a tight amount of parking in the front and a larger space in the back. My second time there, in mid-day, there was NO parking. I didnt even try to wrap back around to take a second look because of the entrances being ridiculous, I had to park at the Wendys across the street.

I gave this review one star because there isnt an option for no stars or even negative stars. Several of my coworkers and I have been to this location and it is now a running joke around our office at how incompetent the Lane & Associates staff is regarding scheduling and communication. The staff does not indicate how many visits your dental work will require while you are trying to schedule, so when you arrive at your appointment, you will need to schedule subsequent visits that you were never made aware of. This has happened to every single person in our office that has been to this location. In my case, when I asked why I was not notified, the woman lied right to my face and told me I had been. Shameful. Also, they do not keep track of cancellations. From what I have seen of their reviews, this seems to be a very common practice here. I canceled an appointment well in advance. Still, the office called a few days before the "appointment" to confirm, and I told them yet again that I had canceled the appointment. Then, I received a letter from the office indicating I had missed the appointment - when I notified them TWICE that it was canceled within an appropriate amount of time. The staff also fails to keep track of the appointments that they cancel. The office canceled an appointment with me, and even though THEY canceled, I still got a letter indicating I had missed the appointment. This is completely ludicrous. To keep this short, I will not go into the experiences my coworkers have had here, but I can assure you they were even worse than mine. The dentist was awesome, but it is not at all worth the hassle you have to go through to get a (seemingly) simple appointment. There are plenty of good dental practices out there. Dont bother with this one.

A cleaning showed a tooth that had a chip and two cracks, no pain it was just ready to go, a crunchy bagel or a good sneeze and I would of been in a world of hurting, it wasnt "if" it was "when" and whatever it was, it was soon, The Great and Powerful Aziz recommended a crown, not good on my pain threshold and not good on my wallet, I knew this and I also knew that I would rather have my right arm cut off than to go to the dentist (even for a cleaning) On a side note, the cleaning I had was most excellent! through but precise, firm but gentle, even expecting a new baby, she did a wonderful job, I enjoy getting cleanings now and I look forward to seeing the front desk staff as well................but I digress........a crown is no cleaning, it was scheduled for 8 oclock in the morning so a few good stiff drinks prior to the drilling and blasting was out of the question, I went in, The Great and Powerful Aziz and his lovely assistant Mother Teresa took care of me as if I was Mr. Lane himself, always checking on me, asking if I was OK, explaining everything to me, showing pictures, telling me I was doing a good job, it was GREAT, no pain (thats a biggie for me) and a comfortable feeling that carried with me long after I left and it wasnt the pain killer, I am giving 5 stars because thats the best and that is the quality of the experience that I had and have continuously with Lane and Associates, when they say "Welcome to Lane and Associates", they mean it, I had such a good time, I am thinking about having all my teeth replaced with crowns......no not really
