I was happy that my cat could be seen here on short notice. We were leaving on vacation and he got an eye infection. My normal vet was booked. But...I think I know why you can get in here quickly. The assistant was great. The vet, I think her name was Dr. Gadberry but not sure, was focused more on coming up with procedures and items for me to purchase than on our cat. Their first exam charge includes an oral exam ( which I know now after getting the paperwork). The Drs oral exam was after she realized she forgot it and consisted of pulling my cats lip back at the side of her mouth. The entire visit with the Dr took approx 10 minutes. For this exam and pulling the lip back the charge was $90. She kept saying she had to hurry because she had another patient to see. I had to remind her about the eye infection. Oh....I forgot about that. Well...thats what I came in for. $200 later we left. That was down from the $300 she wanted me to spend. I told the assistant to remove 2 unnecessary items. Upselling in a Dr. Office to me is inappropriate. She assumed I would accept everything she put in the chart. On a good note, the eyedrops I reminded her about are working. After this appt i talked to two friends who had similar experiences here and have not gone back. I will not use this clinic again.

Lower Columbia Vet Clinic is a HIDDEN GEM! I am incredibly grateful to have discovered this Amazing Team that consistently provides us with the Best customer service our family has ever received at a veterinary facility! I HIGHLY recommend them, whether its a checkup or an emergency. My dogs are lucky to have had their dentals performed at Lower Columbia Vet Clinic. The dogs feel Great and getting XRays has saved our pets bone, gums, and teeth from further deterioration. One of our dogs has had the worst breath for as long as weve had him. This is no longer the case after a trip to see Dr. Remsburg.:) He smells Wonderful! Unbeknownst to us, and not visible without XRays, our chihuahua had a hidden problem below her gumline that was deteriorating her jaw! She is going to be fine now thanks to the TLC she received at Lower Columbia Vet Clinic.The vets and the staff are so wonderful with all of our pets! Our Senior furry "citizens" and our newest little pomeranian have been treated as if they are a member of the veterinary staffs family from the time we walked in the door! I say, "Cheers to You" if you consider using their services! You wont be sorry.

We were just passing through the area when one of our Yorkshires exhibited blood in his urine. We contacted Ocean Beach Animal Hospital, but they were booked and referred us to Lower Columbia. We could not have gotten luckier to get this reference. LCVC was booked as well, but worked us into their busy schedule. The Receptionists, Vet Assistants and both Drs. were exceptional and super friendly. You would have thought they had known us and been caring for our Pups for the past twenty years. This is a special group of people and a great place to take your pets for maintenance and care. Many thanks to Dr. Gadwood & Dr. Martzall for quickly diagnosing Buddy’s problem, taking your precious time to clearing explain and providing the recommendation for our path forward. You Ladies are the best and we greatly appreciate your service. Also, thank you Alex for recommending Lewis River Golf Club. It was a beauty and a blast. Ill take it on again when Im in the area Our best to all of you and keep LCVC just as it is. You’re doing everything perfect. It doesn’t get any better than LCVC!!!

I have bred dogs since 1968 and this is the best vet I have found in over 20 years. The facility is simple, clean, and the staff is simply wonderful. None of my animals have ever shown any fear of visiting here. I have had a few surgeries done now, and the results have been beautiful, successful, and the cost is kept down quite well. They are all about their craft and they do it very well. They also offer 24 hour emergency standby, something we havent had in this county in a long long time. I am so glad to have found these good folks.

Excellent group of Front desk staff, Vet Techs and Vets! Ive taken my pups there since they were about 10 weeks old, we had a few issues right away with parasites, fleas, and diarrhea. They helped me get them on meds right away, and have been very helpful when I call in about questions too! Pups are now 6 months old, and they did the spay and neuter surgeries on them and everything went well! They have been awesome! Would recommend to anyone!!! They know my dogs well, and are always excited to see them! Great group of people! :D

Incredible experience with this knowledgeable and friendly staff. Dr. Remsburg took time to explain my dogs medical condition, labs, and all the meaning behind it in a very easy to understand way. She was supportive and not judgmental and helped me come up with a reasonable plan of treatment for him that fit into my budget. The clinic is very clean and comfortable. I can not say enough good things about my experience. I plan to transfer my dogs care to this veterinary clinic.

I had been using another vets office for years with minimal help for my dogs ear infection. I called LCV and asked about a new product and they had me in for an appointment right away and within 2 weeks they had cleared up hia infection that we had been battling for over 8 years off and on. Will not take any of my dogs or my cat anywhere else. I wish they had service for large animals so I could use them for my horses.

I have never run across such caring staff for pets in my life. Both doctors, nurses and staff are wonderful each and every time I call and have my dog seen. They love my pet coming in and take great care of him - who knew you could do laser surgery for dogs and avoid the cone of shame? I love them and highly recommend them for all your pet needs.
