My fiancé has brought her dogs to this place for years before we got together; and I have encouraged her repeatedly to switch vets as I noticed just about every time she goes in there she leaves without any answers but with a bill upwards of $300. recently our dog got a raised red spot on his back leg. So she took him in and we were expecting maybe it was some sort of infection. Of course, as usual, she left the place without a definitive answer, but with an expensive spray that for all intents and purposes made our dogs leg worse. They talked her into do a skin scrape test. She loves her dog so of course shes going to do it. Boom $300 bill. So we wait for the results expecting a fungus or some kind of infection. We get the results and they told us no fungus, no bacteria, and they skipped straight to encouraging a $500 punch test and told my fiancé theres a good chance its cancer. She was absolutely devastated. So finally I talked her into getting a second opinion at a different vet. Not only did the new vet get her in 30 mins before closing. He took his time and tried to trouble shoot the issue with the intent of curing our dog rather than just racking up our bill. He was frank with her and said cancer is always a possibility, and that hed like to redo the tests companion had done. He did a cheap uv test to check for ringworm. Wasnt ringworm. Rather than skip straight to the expensive cancer testing Companion made out to be do or die, he offered us a cheaper needle test at literally half the price. They did the procedure right there in the room. They didnt take our dog back in the room of good faith as companion does. We got to see what was going on, be in the loop, and now 4 days later we have our results. IT WAS AN INFECTION ALL ALONG. COMPANION WANTED TO DO A $500 PUNCH TEST FOR CANCER ON A SIMPLE INFECTION. vet gave us a cream for it and its steadily improved every day. We can throw our expensive companion spray right in the garbage. Total waste of money. People love their pets, and some businesses out there to take advantage of peoples affection. They scared my fiancé into pulling out her wallet and forking over $500 for an uneccesary procedure. Shame on companion pet clinic. Zero integrity. No answers. At the end of the day its all about the money. And we certainly are not alone in this sentiment. I wasnt exactly shocked to go and read the 1 star reviews and see that they echo virtually everything I had suspected all along. You live and learn, and what weve learned is that this is not the place to take your pet.

This company is by far one of the worst places I have ever dealt with. I took my cat in because he was having some trouble going to the bathroom and was obviously in pain. After they looked at him, they told me he had a serious condition and would not make it through the night if I hadnt acted. My cat isnt just a pet to me, he is part of our family. So naturally, I was devistated to hear this news. They charged me $1100 to keep him for no more than 5 hours and send him home still in pain. Needless to say, I took him back the next day to find that the problem had not been fixed. They said that it looked like I would end up having to put him down. I couldnt wrap my head around how my cat was still this bad after having spent over a grand to keep him there for not even half a day. I decided to get a second opinion and thank god I did, because the other place I took my cat had a completely different diagnosis. Turns out mt cat had a very common and easily fixed issue. There was absolutely NO reason to even think about putting him down. The new place kept him for 2 nights and charged me significantly less for the entire procedure. Plus, they were incredibly kind and understanding, something Companion was not. To sum this up, Companion over charged me for not treating my cat properly, threatened having to put him down, was INCREDIBLY rude and not at all compassionate. Their bedside manor was absolute horrible, telling me that my cat would die that night unless I paid that ridiculous amount! Thats emotional blackmail! I wish there was a way I could give them a negative star rating. Horrible, unfit company.

I recommend this clinic to everyone I know. I dont trust anyone else with my two 9-year-old cats. Even if I lived hours away I would still bring them here. Every time one of them has gotten sick, Dr. Lueck knew exactly how to find out exactly what was wrong and his treatment recommendations have never been off. In fact, my cats are even healthier now than they were when they were younger - both of them have developed conditions that require them to be on prescription diets, but they love the taste of the Hills foods and the extra cost has proven to be worth it because they were not getting this kind of nutrition out of store-bought pet food! Their coats are softer and shinier, they are at healthy weights, they rarely throw up anymore, and they are both just all around very happy kitties. The fees charged are also very reasonable for the high quality services that are rendered, and the staff members never try to finagle extra money out of you. They are all very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I also appreciate the flexible hours that the clinic is open. Dont believe the bad reviews, those all seem to be from people who were trying to get something for nothing and/or ignorantly believing that certain treatment recommendations were unnecessary. Sorry, but if you love your pet and youre not a doctor of veterinary medicine and you want to know what is wrong with your pet, you kind of have to pay for the services you are going to receive.

This place is worse than a used car lot. Ever went to buy a car? Well let me explain how it works! The first question they ask is "Do you have a trade?" Then you say yes, and they take your car keys to go get a trade value. From that point on you are trapped bc the sales guy has your keys! Then they sell you on a car and start throwing crazy number at you! Same thing happened to me here. The doc says my dog is having an allergy flare and could use some allergie meds and a bath. So he takes my dog in the back for the shot. Leaveing me stuck, because they have taken my pet. Then some weird Lady I have never talked to the whole time calls me over to review a $432 bill. WHAT?!?! He said a shot and a bath! She says he is now recommending 3 tests, and a follow up with the other things! He never said this to me. I Asked if we could simply try to treat the Allergies he suggested, then if that didnt work I would come back, She returned with a new bill of $254, Still having a return visit fee and now 2 shots. She explained (tried to sell me) the second shot was an anti itch medication. I told I thought the allergie meds and bath would help with that, she said I was correct. I declined the shot and ended paying $135. It wasnt untill after my bill was paid that my dog was returned to me and I was able to leave that Used Car Lot of a Vet Clinic. I will never return to this place and I hope this helps you avoid it too!
