The doctor is very good so is the nursing staff. Now to the billing or check out staff; cold uncaring all about the money. To explain I brought our dog on a Monday after calling on the prior Friday since he got worse. I explained I get paid on Thursday and can give my card to post date the payment, coldly that was accepted but not for the medications for our pet that is in severe pain. He has a bulging disk, so I was told I have to leave the medication and get it at Walmart (keep in mind she already knows I dont have the money), or just let him suffer until Thursday. So in short they would rather the pet suffer for 3 days then give me a delay of payment for 3 days. They only care about the money, In the future I will go to Bloom or another pet doctor, BTW I also have pet insurance but that doesnt seem to matter. Its a shame because other then the office staff the actual care staff seem pretty good. I understand payment needs to be made but accidents dont give you notice they are going to happen,(this happened at the groomer) and we are talking about 3 days of floating a bill.

If I could give this clinic 0 stars I would. On the way home from a movie my mom, friend, and I spotted a small dog that definitely looked injured(like it had recently got hit by a car) we immediately stopped and brought him into our car and rushed him to the closest vet(yelm vet) and went in to see if we could at least get the poor animal scanned for a chip... Upon entering the vet and explaining our situation we were literally denied service, and these people that apparently care so much for animals REFUSED to help an obviously injured dog. This dog was wearing a collar that did not have tags on it so we had no way of identifying its owner. Its so sad to think that this establishments top priority is money over the care of innocent animals...

They get 1 star for taking care of business. They also get one star because they are twice as expensive as anyone else and they heard the animals in and out. This place is about the money, not about the care so much. Just plan on $75 to $100.00 or more on every visit. I think they try to justify it by saying they provide a doctors visit rather then the dog is just coming in to get a $12 shot. Due to time constraints, I must use them one more time and that will be my last. Everyone is nice but they have people there that may not have a lot of animal experience.

So this place is great! Clean, friendly, great prices! Dr. French saw Sadie at 7pm (they are open till 8, another good thing) and clipped a toenail that was growing into the pad on her foot frown emoticon All she charged was the removal of the toenail and some antiseptic on the pad! No exam charge or after regular hour charge (which is only $5 anyway after 6pm) and was super nice! All in all, I think we have a new vet clinic for our pets!

I went in the other night to help my ferret pass away. They did not allow me to stay with him as he passed. Every other vet I have been to allows the person to stay with their pet, and it has been traumatizing for me. He never did well in new situations and I personally would have felt better to help him let go in person. I will not be going back unless absolutely necessary. They seriously need to change their policy.

Brought my dogs here after years with another vet whos clinic closed. Not happy at all with the care, especially given the cost ($$$). Dont feel as if my Dogs were all that well cared for, especially my eldest one who needed special care. Never setting foot in here again, taking my business elsewhere to a vet that cares about more than just collecting the fees.

Receptionist are rude and snotty, they speak to to you like a child and are clearly in business for the love of money instead of love of the animals. Thanks for not saving my dogs life in an emergency situation. Clearly you think 700 dollars is more important than saving a family member.

I have animals all my life and dealt with countless veterinarians. My cat was seen by Emily French, DMV and I couldnt be more pleased. She had tons of information and made me really comfortable. And price wise it was very affordable compared to other vets I have been to. I will be back!

A baby bird fell out of a tree being planted at my old home. I found out Yelm Veterinary Hospital cares for all types of animals. They too the bird in and, later, they told me it had just been released. I have also received kind and helpful treatment for my cats.

Wasnt my first choice BUT Dr French and the rest of the staff is great and I absolutely trust her. One of the girls even went so far as to send me a picture from her personal cell phone of my sweet Mischa while she was admitted to the hospital over night.

Very expensive and they do not seem to care as much about your pet as they do making money. I prefer Bloom Animal Hospital, also in Yelm. Much friendlier staff, prices are more reasonable and your pet recieves excellent care.
