Great experience - I came primarily because my dog had been suffering from an ear infection for a while, and while I think a reprimand would have been in order for my family not brining the dog in sooner, Dr. Brewsters focus was solely on diagnosing it and explaining in the best detail Ive ever heard what the problem and solutions were (dogs had this problem before, and I now realize at previous clinic (one by the home depot by fircrest) neglected to explain some crucial information about how to apply the medicine, which probably explains why the treatment that time was less effective for my dog). Ear infection medicine cost was not exactly cheap (I think around $70 total for two products), but is any medicine ever cheap? Dr. Bs manner with my dog was also great, really compassionate even after (I assume) several decades working with animals. He took the time to do the job thoroughly (which does mean waiting-room times are a bit long for other patients) and to address all my questions and concerns. He also brought up some relevant information without my asking, namely, asking about which anti-flea treatment we used (semi-effective diluted essential oils remedy) and said that was fine, just to watch out for organophosphates if we ever switched to a commercial one (which they did sell in office, but there was no product-pushing from him). Really genererous with time, care, and knowledge. Rabies booster was a great price ($15), came with "I have my rabies vacc" tag to attach to dogs collar. Again, great experience overall. Only thing is that it is a walk-in clinic, so Id recommend getting there early, and maybe not on saturday morning (although you can also call the very friendly receptioninst and ask about current occupancy/wait times).

I brought my almost ten year old German Shepherd in to have an epulis removed that had grown rapidly. It was quite large. When I called in the nurse gave me an estimate, telling me what exactly was being included. After calling around to other clinics in the area she had sounded the most knowledgeable, and the price she quoted me was about half that of everyone else. When I brought my dog in they took a look at the epulis, weighed her, and adjusted the quote. I also had the doctor take a look at a skin tag between the toes of her rear left paw that had also grown rapidly, as well as her ear which I thought might be infected. After he administered the pre-anesthetic and I brought her to the kennel I was told to call back at a specific time to check in on her status. When I did I was informed that the surgery had gone well and that she had responded well to the anesthetic. I was also informed that the skin tag was actually a grass seed that had gotten stuck. He removed it at no additional cost. I was also informed that he had removed a cracked incisor and her ear was indeed infected. When I came to pick her up an hour later she was elated to see me, and ready to go home. After the surgeries, tooth cleaning included with the surgery, booster shots, and ear infection rinse and ointment the total was still under 400 dollars, at around 365 dollars. The nurse is both pleasant and experienced, and the doctor was reassuring and didnt charge me for either the seed removal, being a new patient, or the consult. The medication was priced competitively. I am extremely satisfied with their services and will continue to bring my old pup here from now on. I hope this helps.

I have been taking my pomeranian to this clinic practically his whole life, and he is now 8, and have a 3 year old border collie. I trust April and Mark. They dont beat around the bush and tell you like it is. Absolutely recommend them. They will always have my service and my word of mouth. Just brought in my grandma and her dog for his eye, and all will be better. Thank you both, you work so hard for us pet parents for helping our fur babies.

I took my new puppy there for her vaccine, the vet not only gave her vaccine, check my puppy (did not charge for that), also told me many vaulable information about how to take care of my puppy. I have been to other vet before, they charged a lot for wellness check and gave all the vaccine they could found. They did not have such personal touch and it was really expensive. Avenue Vet has a very good price. I will definitaly to there again.

I live nearby this clinic, so I was glad to make an appointment for one of my animals. However, when I called, the voicemail message requested that I do NOT leave a message for them. Maybe there is something I am not understanding about that request, but I found that to be incredibly rude and will look elsewhere despite the convenience of the location. The hours are also incredibly narrow, which was disappointing as well.

They are very friendly. They treated my cat kind. Never once have they over charged me or up charged me. They even kept my cat over night after surgery for free. Because he wasnt allowed outside. And he only potties outside. They are very caring. It is a small and older clinic. But I have always found them great. I highly recommend. Plus only walk in no appointment needed.

Terrific customer service. April at the front desk is amazing and so kind. Dr Brewster is fabulous and took great care of my dog. My family was seen at this vet but never before my own dog, she had an emergency and he took her right in and dealt with it no questions asked. I will now be switching to this vet permanently as her care has exceeded my expectations.

Doctor Brewster is awesome! He took care of my sweet pup. Went in thinking it was a uti and ended up being stones. He got him taken care of and when he started feeling depressed let me come in and see him for a bit. Hes thorough and actually acts like he cares for my pup and wants the best for him. Glad I started bringing my fur kids here!

Dr. Brewster has cared for every animal I have ever had. Him and April are truly the best. Two of the most kind, compassionate and knowledgable animal people I have known! I would not take my animals anywhere else. Ever. Prices are very fair. They offer great products. You are usually seen pretty quickly on walk-in basis.
