After being unable to get an appointment from my regular vet to get an exam on a fairly deep cut on the forearm of my dog, I walked into Companion Vet Hospital to see if they could fit me in. They made an appointment for me immediately on the same day. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating, and it was refreshing to have a vet not try to push me into unnecessary suturing of the cut as she felt it was healing well. The icing on the cake was that the first visit was complimentary. Regarding my now ex-vet clinic, I couldnt even get 5 minutes of time with any of the vets to look at the cut to see if it warranted a visit to Olympia Pet Emergency to get sutures or to just let it continue healing as it looked clean. I was totally dissatisfied as I offered an appointment the following week. When I was told that a surgery might possibly be rescheduled and they could possibly fit me in, I was promised a call back within 20 minutes. Thirty minutes later I called back as I hadnt heard from them and I was told the gal that was helping me went to lunch. Needless to say, Companion Vet Hospital is my new go-to. The cut is completely healed now. Thank you to Dr. Renee!

I am so grateful to have found the perfect Vet Hospital for my Australian Shepherd. Companion is very up-to-date with recent medicine and practices and it has kept my Aussie safe. Mikko is MDR-1 positive (multi-drug resistant gene that effects collie-type dogs; effects 50% of Australian Shepherds) mutant/normal and is at risk of seizures and other unnerving side effects from normally used medicine. Companion made it clear that they do not use, or even consider using, ANY drugs that could possibly affect a collie-type, or any-type, of dog. I was very worried the first time I dropped him off to have hip x-rays as he had to be sedated, but Shelley (Vet Tech) alleviated my worries immediately and I felt 100% comfortable leaving my baby in their care. He recently was neutered and the surgery went smoothly and he is doing well. I appreciate the staff here SO much as I am a Vet Tech student myself. I would highly recommend this hospital to anybody.

A friend recommended Companion Vet when I became a first time pet owner adopting an adult cat, Micki. After one visit I have remained taking Micki to Companion for 3 years now and would recommend them to anyone! I was nervous and felt uneducated as a new pet owner until my first visit; Dr. Sommerville took the time to explain in detail the necessary care for my cat and answered all my questions. Micki has had to have shots, surgeries, dental cleanings, and routine weigh-ins. Each and every visit I felt comfortable with leaving her there; Micki seemed to be just as comofortable. The entire staff is extremely friendly and caring not only to Micki but me. I since have recommended Companion Vet to three of my friends who all currently bring their pets there; they were hooked after one visit as well! Companion Vet is beyond the best!!

My mate Diane and I are totally satisfied and more with Companion Veterinary Hospital. Theyve been caring for our dog Trixie since 2000 and we credit them with a big part in Trixies longevity, continued mobility and playfulness at 14 years of age! There was no question for us that our new five year old Australian shepherd would share "big sisters" vet and become another CVH client. The Companion team have been instantly responsive to our care requests. CVH has a great approach to preventive care and long-term health strategies. You can tell they all love animals and the care provided to their client animals is way beyond competent. You cant get a better vet, IMO. And besides -- theyre all real nice friendly people.

I cannot thank these lovely professionals enough! I dont know if youve ever had a cat wear a cone for a year, but it is not a fun experience. She was not herself, she was depressed and none of us wanted anything to do with her because she was disgusting. Our furniture was getting puss all over it and now that she is healed thanks to these ladies, our furniture is no longer nasty and we can cuddle our cat again. She had a similar treatment at a different hospital that was more expensive, but it didnt work. When we moved and came to Companion, she was healed more quickly and for less money! They are kind, respectful, honest, and efficient. Thank you Companion! From Nicole, Rich, Cassandra, Allouette, and Helo Casada!

We have been going to Companion Veterinary Hospital almost as long as they have been open which says a lot about how we feel about their services to our pets and us as their owners. They have truly "cared" for all six of the German Shepherds and the five cats we have had the joy of owning since living in this area. The professionalism and customer service we have received has been consistently the best from any vet we have ever had, and they were all good. What sets CVH and their staff apart is how well they know us and our pets, the thoroughness and kindness that they have treated each and every visit. Their compassion during those really difficult decisions in a pets life have made them certainly our "companions".

My dog got a big cut close to his eye, they did a great job cleaning and closing it. Im pretty broke and they told me all my options and prices before hand, they werent pushy about treatment, great with my dog and so helpful in answering a ton of general health questions I had outside this specific incident. I live rurally and my dogs get into all sorts of mischief and lead active lifestyles and the vet tech was great about suggesting good vaccines for pets who are out in the woods alot. She told me when problems are really problems as opposed to just consequences of having active dogs. Free first visit! Its not as expensive as other vets and theres a great staff of ladies! Definitely returning

I brought my dog in because of constant itching. I even ask for the Meds by name. The doc checked the dogs skin, told me to give her oatmeal baths. I asked for a better flea killer, which I bought. Since I was there I asked to give the dog a physical. She checked the left side of her teeth, told me she had quite a few missing, which of course I knew. That was the sum total of a physical exam. She told the aide to add up my bill, took my dog to be weighted and nail cut. All this took less than 5 minutes. I do have to say my first visit there was nice, different vet. The staff is very nice and helpful. I will be using a different vet that actually likes dogs. Ciao, Marion Sent from my iPad

If an option existed for zero or negative stars they would be the recipient. Their office staff manager was "maybe a little off" according to local law enforcement. To me it was an illustration of sheer untreated mental health. Her handling of an animal most especially in duress was most shocking. The owner ood the overall practice was completely dismissive and inappropriate when the issue was brought to his attention. This is all unfortunate as once you get past all the others standing in their own way the doctor is actually decent! However steer wide and clear of this place unless you enjoy ill treatment and poorly educated, unprofessional staff.
