I ve been coming to this clinic for years as I found it nice to have all my animals seen under one Vet. Ive had 4/5 star service from the Vets in this Office. I cannot say the same for the front staff. Ive been told if I miss a shot appointment I need to repeat the entire series. Was emotional over a surgery on two cats(Im weird) and had a gal come in to upsell me on a kitten package even though I was visably upset (I bought it, was ridiculous) and most recently had to cancel an appointment due to a horrible migraine headache (result of family trauma). After we rescheduled the appointment Ashley told me "next time we would appreciate 24hr cancellation notice". ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!! I didnt plan my daughters horrible situation nor did I plan the physical impairment of a migraine that followed. Callous and cold. Girls behind the desk are chatty with each other while customers wait to be acknowledged. I recently visited another Vet and the difference was night and day. Drove an hour to get cheaper prices, awesome environment and fabulous cognitive, caring and attentive staff. Was refreshing to hear, "goodmorning how can I help you?" As I walked through the door. I was not the only person they treated so nicely...each customer was greeted warmly. I have spoke to 2 Doctors at Tahoma regarding front desk unprofessionalism and lack of customer service. Most dont stay long enough apparently to fix and the good ones Hailey and brunette gal (cant remember her name offhand) now work in the back...but they are great.

I was recommended to go here after i became unhappy with the experience i was having at another large vet. It took me a year to try this vet out because they are an hour from my house but I am so happy i did! I love them. First. I have two small kids...the staff and the vet made us all feel comfortable and didnt make us feel bad for being a bit of a traveling circus. In fact the front desk ladies came and helped me bring in my 3 huskies. Second. The vet sat on the floor loving on my dogs as he examined them. I have 3 huskies....this is no easy thing. They LOVED him. Third. The vet didnt treat me like i was stupid nor did he withhold information. 2 of my huskies are getting geriatric and he spent the time to come up with a game plan for some health concerns and brainstorm some foods, etc. Fourth. Not once was i rushed....from my other vet they get me in and out as fast as i can pay. This office was willing to take the time to make me feel welcome and answer any and all questions. An hour drive with a toddler and a baby AND three huskies is not easy but i will gladly do it for the service i got and the medicine that they offer. Very very happy.

Was a long time customer until my dog was treated for a GI problem and there was nothing wrong with her GI. My wife and I were continually brushed off when mentioning what we thought the problem was and were also told that our husky was just being a normal vocal husky and was not in pain. Since we have had the dog from 9 weeks old on I think we know "normal husky vocalization." Vet was pushing for exploratory surgery which was not needed. Spent a lot of money only to be told I needed to go to a specialist after my dog had been at that vet everyday for a week. It took an entire week for the multiple x-rays to be sent out to a radiologist. After going to the specialist my wife and I were told that my husky getting in and out of my truck to go back and forth to Tahoma Vet so much might have permanently injured her. Reached out to the owner and received no response. We are now looking into further options. *On a side note the front desk staff is the only thing I will miss about Tahoma. They were always so nice and caring.

Weve been coming here for over ten years and used to be loyal customers. Theyve been going downhill in quality of care and customer service for a while, so we just moved to a different vet, no hard feelings. Today, our 15 year old black lab stopped breathing. Fully stopped, tongue blue, the works. We called in to Tahoma because they were closest and this was a serious emergency. According to the lady on the phone, our dog not being able to breathe wasnt a "priority" and the earliest they could get her in was in about two hours. We ended up going to a REAL vet a little farther away and are waiting on the results of the surgery now. The people at this "clinic" are a joke. They dont care at all about their clients or their beloved pets. Stay away if your animals mean anything to you.

Called the vet because my dog obviously has Giardia and wanted to know the dose of Metronidazole to give a 20 pound Rat Terrier and they told me I couldnt without get an answer to a general question about the dose you would give a dog without an exam. They would let my dog suffer because I didnt give them money to tell me my dog has something that I already know he has. Greedy, non- ethical medical professionals. Im not asking them to tell me what they think my dog has over the phone only that I am going to get my dog some medicine but how much should I give him. MONEY HUNGRY!

I have been using this vet office for 3 years. They have always been super kind, helpful, and treated my 2 senior dogs very well. I have brought in strays for chip checks and they have always been helpful with the sttays as well. I know that the desk staff cannot really give you a good figure on pricing for certain issues but if you ever run into rude staff or someone being unprofessional you should probably talk to a manager or a doctor and see how they handle the employee first before thinking they are all uncaring folks.

Well we have been going here for A while but we have a dog with a skin issue and we needed to go to a specialist. I called and asked for the records and the receptionist kelsey was EXTREMELY rude! She was VERY put out I asked for records. She didnt even send them all when I called back to get them all I asked to speak to a manager again she was rude. I talked to him then asked them to fax me the records . When they did the cover letter said from Kelsey with a smiley face. It was so rude! We wont go back!

I called to ask about treatment for my pup, as Tahoma is closer than my usual Vet. The receptionist was rude; she was more interested in getting my personal data inputed into the computer than in a brief conversation about care for my dog, or even speaking to me person to person rather than as a number with a billing address. She wasnt able to answer any questions about care for my dog after I made it through her gauntlet questionaire, so Ill just drive the extra 15 minutes to my humble but friendly Vet.
