I have been a client of Ponce DeLeon Animal Clinic for over thirteen years. I have paid them thousands of dollars in services over the years. I was a loyal customer, until today. I left my boxer for boarding for a span of 4 days. When I picked him up today, I was told I owed them a little over $338. They claimed he had a stomach ache, thew up and took it upon themselves to administer anti-nausea medications costing approximately $190.00. They further stated the Vet called me and advised me of this issue. Although, I did receive a call, it was not from the Vet, it was from a staff member who asked me if my dog was still taking levocrine, a previously prescribed medication. No other information was exchanged during this phone call, I never received any additional phone calls, nor was I contacted for consent to provide non-emergency medical services. When I questioned the charges I was told I provided consent for any medical services the clinic deems necessary during his stay, at the customers cost, of course. Furthermore, I picked up my dog in the evening, he was not walked or feed prior to my arrival. He was anxious and eager to leave. I do not recommend using this clinic, they have become untrustworthy, the staff is rude and the service is not worth the inflated costs.

I met Dr. Tonarely in 2002 and since then, the experience as a Vet, great staff and their loving and caring ways when taking care of our beloved pets is unique and superb. My trust in his excellence diagnosis and treatment is 120%. The way they have taken care of our past pets is remarkable and the care and love for the presents ones is outstanding. If you have now a days, to find a very special Vets practice where you can go without hesitation is @ Ponce De Leon Animal Clinic. The best quality of all is they REALLY DEAL WITH our "children" with their heart, and for me, what comes from the heart is the most important thing in life! There are no words that can describe enough how much I appreciate them, how much they have done for us( even the humans) and they are always there for you. From the moment you walk in you know your pet in going to be in good hands. The office is clean and the staff is polite and friendly! The young ladies at the front desk enjoy what they are doing and it shows through their professionalism. They are the first impression and its a positive one. Next is Dr. Sparks. My dog adores her! Her passion for her profession shines through. Dr. Sparks is professional and thorough. She will answer all your questions with no question being too silly for her. She genuinely loves what she does. If your pet is like another member of your family, like mine is to me, then you want only the best and this place is the best. And whats even better, their fees are reasonable!

We have 3 small dogs and have been using Ponce Animal Clinic for over 8 years. For bi-annual exams and emergencies, Dr. Sparks and Dr. Tonarely have taken care of our babies in the best way possible. They are up to date on treatment options, do not over vaccinate and are the most caring veterinarians. They listen to our concerns, are compassionate, and treat our pets as if they were theirs. Cannot recommend them any higher. Also the office staff up front and in the back are equally outstanding.

After taking our dog to four vets for the same skin condition, with no improvement, a friend recommended this clinic. Dr. Tonarely is amazing!!! From the first visit he started treating Indy we could see a radical improvement. It turned out to be food allergies and Indy, our 11 year old Lab, is doing much better... shedding less and stinking no more. I cant praise this clinic, Dr. Tonarely, and courteous staff enough!

They have gone out of their way to help solve my pet concerns, even providing assistance by phone and giving a script to a local vet to help address a critical problem with my dog more quickly, as I dont live nearby. They are super caring and helpful. Count not give a higher recommendation.

Dr. Tonarely inherited us some 22 years ago when he bought the clinic. Amazingly, he hasnt fired us yet... LOL Dr. Tonarely and the staff are professional, caring and compassionate. My Jack Russell, Samantha, loves going to see her doctors, Dr. Bob and Dr. Sparks. I think she knows they make her feel better when she is sick. They are the absolute best and, even though, they are not conveniently located for us, we will never go anywhere else. The entire staff is wonderful, also!
