This the first review I have ever written for any business, I typically do not like to leave negative comments but my experience has been so bad I felt other people and this business should know about it. I first started going to knowles about 2 maybe 3 years ago, had just adopted a puppy and she started getting sick out of nowhere. I decided to take her to knowles to find out she apparently had a tick disease. 15 tests, 3 blood transfusions and $4000 later they told me they were not sure if it was the "so called" disease they thought she had and were not sure how to treat it. so if you dont know how to treat it why do all these transfusions etc just to charge me this huge bill? My puppy ended up passing away in the end. Now I have 3 dogs, all three of them go to knowles animal clinic. One of them went last year because he was having a pain in his leg. I took him to knowles and they told me they needed to run xrays, they told me he had a torn muscle that might require surgery. From my previous experience i decided to get a second opinion and take him to a joint specialist for dogs. The specialist told me he just had growing pains and sent him some anti inflammatorys and my dog was fine within a few days. I called knowles and told them they were wrong about my dog having a torn muscle and they refused to give me a credit or refund on the huge bill they charged me just to find out they were completely wrong. Even though every time I have gone I have had to be there 3 plus hours just for a simple check up, they never have appointment times available that are convenient for me even when i call a month ahead to schedule, I have continued to take my dogs there. This week I called and of course they told me they didnt have the time i wanted available and that they undercharged me last time i was there apparently and I owed them money. After 2 years and thousands of dollars later Im deciding to take all 3 of my dogs elsewhere. These people obviously do not care about my business or my dogs. I do not recommend this place unless you want to waste your time and your money.

This is the first review I have ever done in my life because I believe you all need to know how this place works. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY!!!!!! If I could give no stars I would. So I take my 9 week old chihuahua to them & they say she needs a blood transfusion & a few other things. So Teacup has done what the doctors claim needs to be done. After 1500$ & two night stay she is finally home. Two days later she is in the exact same condition as the first time i took her in & now they r saying that she has a shunt in her liver. My first response was why wasnt that diagnosed two days ago? The doctors response was she did not have enough blood. Im not a vet but I truly didnt believe her reply. At this point the doctor says that the chances are not in her favor. At this point Im sad & my wife is hysterical!! I still have not gotten upset. What happens next is what makes me think all this place cares about is money not you or your pet. My wife & I decide that the best option is to put Teacup to sleep because she was in pain. So I ask how much will this cost & the doctor says 45$. Remember I just spent 1500$ two days before. Im still not upset. When they come in to have me sign bill it comes out to 150$. I ask why 150$?? There response is we charge 100$ for you to be in the room with your pet as we put them to sleep. My response is are you kidding me??? I just spent 1500$ & you told me she was gonna be fine & two days later Im back here & my puppy is in the exact same shape she came in here the first time. Now Im livid!!! Its only 100$ but really after spending all the money I spent two days earlier & them missing the problem you would think they would wave the fee. NO they didnt!!!!!! Had to pay 100$ to watch my puppy go to sleep. I WOULD NEVER EVER TAKE MY NEW PUPPY THERE. This place only cares about how much money they can suck out of you!!!!!

Recently, my family experienced a very scary moment. A few days after adopting Candi (1 year-old dog)- she alerted us that our kitchen was engulfed in smoke. Immediately taking her to Knowles Animal Clinic (Snapper Creek) I didn’t know what to expect- I was in a crisis mode. I, in tears, brought Candi in seeking help to check for possible smoke inhalation and/or carbon monoxide. Although I was in a panic- all whom I came into contact with starting off with Keitha (front desk) and Taylor (providing care) remained calm yet compassionate. Lory Nelson (outreach manager/client relations specialist) was truly empathic as she listened to my story of my Hero Dog, which brought her to tears. Lori stayed with Candi and I through the entire process. She also shared a reassuring hug that put me at ease. Dr. Scola (providing treatment) kept me informed every step of the way-explaining the x-rays and test results with a gentle yet comforting voice. Her compassion is so clearly demonstrated in her words on Candi’s report “So Glad Candi came into your life and you into hers, you both rescued each other!” I knew then I had come to the right place. The Team at Knowles (Snapper Creek) demonstrated a high level of compassion and handled Candi and I with care and gentle hands, and tenderness. And for this I am forever grateful.

My experience at Knowles Animal Clinic has been exceptional. The staff and doctors are friendly, caring, loving, and attentive. They are very knowledgable and always recommend the treatment that is best for your pet. They have equipment and technicians to take xrays, ultrasounds, laser treatments, and perform surgery on sight. Due to their 24 hour service, the availability to make an appointment is easy. I experienced an emergency situation with my cat Abby one evening and I called them on my way to the office. When I pulled up out front, immediately 3 technicians met me outside. I have seen this response on several occasions while waiting for my appointment, and it is reassuring the concern they show for your pet. And their compassion doesnt stop with just the animal. They also understand the owners emotions and always have kind and comforting words, along with tissues, lots of tissues! I am rating Knowles 4 stars instead of 5 ONLY because their facility can only place sick cats and dogs in the same area, not separately for any overnight stays. I would highly recommend Knowles Animal Clinic for you pet and your pet for Knowles. So on behalf of Abby and myself, thank you to all the wonderful doctors and staff members at Snapper Creek Knowles Animal Clinic on Sunset Drive! Youre the BEST!!

Took my dog as an emergency due to vomiting/pooping water/blood all of the sudden. Staff checked me in quickly and had a vet assistant take a look at my dog to see if she needed to be seen immediately. Filled out paperwork and waited in a room for a few minutes before the vet came in and looked at my dog. My dog pooped water/blood again in the room and the staff quickly cleaned it up and let me know not to worry about the mess. The blood work was done in-house while i waited in the room. My dog needed to be left overnight on antibiotics and IV due to dehydration and also to be observed for further vomiting and blood. I called for updates 3 times within a 24 hr period and was updated quickly. Vet called me next day to pick her up and explained her progress. Picking her up was quick and all her medication/food and progress were explained. An appointment was made in 2 weeks to return to do further blood test and to check on her. Vet assistant answered all my questions and the staff were efficient and caring. I paid under 1k but that was to be expected for it being an emergency and overnight care with food/medicine. Vet called the next day to check on my dog and i received another call a few days later to see how she was again. I will use/recommend this clinic for emergency.
