As have many of you, I have also been taking my four Dachshunds to CBAH for MANY years! I was originally going to another vet who almost killed one of my pups so I was very excited to find CBAH! I am most especially happy with the boarding structure they have. I am sooooooo paranoid about leaving my dogs anywhere or with anyone and now the ONLY people/place I trust with my babies is CBAH! I learned that the building used to be a BANK so it is totally hurricane proof AAANNND the boarding area is where the big VAULT was in the bank so it is even MORE safe!!! I even sent my hubby to the Fire Department to see how long it would take them to get to CBAH should there ever be an emergency and they laughingly told us that they could physically RUN to CBAH in less than a minute so, again, my mind is at ease. But the BEST part about boarding my babies there is the STAFF! I know I am a royal pain with the food plan I give my pups every time, but they happily comply and give them all their silly treats and vitamins, etc. PLUS the attention they give them is more than I could ask for. ALL the Doctors, Sabrina, Linda, Jeannie, Oska, Erin, Tara, Aldo....... EVERYONE! I could never thank you enough for all the care and love you give my little crazy weiner dogs! They LOVE you when thy come there and I love you all to pieces for keeping me SANE when I go out of town! XOXOXOXO!

There is nothing more important to me than the health of my best friend and when I moved to South Florida, one of my largest hesitations was leaving a vet that I trusted with her life. Im one of those over the top pet owners, having a pet nanny, feline health insurance and carry her medical records almost everywhere we go together. I took about a month of research and taking my cat to several vets for "introductions" before I came across Central Broward Animal Hospital and Dr. Powers. Granted there are some highly qualified veterinarians in South Florida, but highly qualified just isnt good enough for me, I want exceptional in every aspect. There was just a different feeling when I walked in, a positive vibe from the front desk staff, the feel of the waiting room was welcoming and everyone with we encountered it was obvious that they not only were dedicated professionals, but loved the animals and their jobs. Then meeting Dr. Powers and seeing first hand how she interacted with my cat, with me, listening, understanding as well as educating me with everything she did was the what gained them a customer for life. By far BAH is one of the finest group of doctors and support staff in the area, now a customer for close to eight years, I cant imagine taking my cat anywhere else.

My Yellow Lab, Achilles turned 11 years young in January. We have been clients for 8 years now I think. We have always been satisfied with the care and love shown to us all. Achilles needed all tests and work updated, as well as his rabies renewed. I have been concerned about his joints. He doesnt show signs of pain, but given his age, I worried. But. Seeing him in the exam room, I could tell how comfortable he was. This clearly tells me he has felt safe and loved. Since he cannot talk, I count on his reactions and his reactions are of pure comfort and confidence in the exam room. He didnt hide behind me, or try to shy away from Dr. Powers. She gave him a clean bill of health and said he looks fantastic for a dog his age and he doesnt seem to show joint discomfort or pain. She also said his weight is perfect for him. A few days later, Dr. Powers personally called to say his blood work is came back and all is well. I believe that between CBAHs care and dedication and our commitment to keep him healthy, Achilles is healthy and happy. I continue to be extremely happy with the love, care, and services at CBAH!

Dr. Lezcano and the staff a Central Broward are incredible. I have 5 large dogs and each of them gets exceptional care every time we come into their office with our pack. You are immediately greeted by their friendly staff upon walking in. The staff knows exactly who I am, which dogs I have brought, and why we are there. There is usually never a wait or a very short wait (maybe less than 5 minutes). Dr. Lezcano is very friendly and helpful. She always makes me feel comfortable that Im not going over the top with a treatment but also not doing to little. She is great with my dogs and remembers everything with all 5 dogs. I trust them with boarding my dogs and knowing which is allergic to what items during their stay. I also know that they are getting more than sufficient time to stretch and run in their walled in outdoor area. The wall is comforting so that there are no concerns about the dog escaping the area. I would gladly recommend Central Broward Animal Hospital and all the staff to anyone.

First off, the front desk person really should learn that just because its early in the morning that you shouldnt treat someone with questions like they are asking stupid questions. Asking a question such as, "Are walk-ins okay?" Isnt a stupid question, especially if its a case of an immediate attention to the pet owner. Ive never had a bad taste in my mouth about somewhere until now and all I wanted to do is help my dog with his cyst!(off jump they make it clear they only care for the regular customers, not new ones you can hear it in her voice)Then, when I decided that I should just make an appointment I find out after a good 15 minutes on the phone with the lady that the ONLY vet on clock right now is 8 months pregnant.. are you serious? Im sorry, I understand that pregnant women are allowed to work until the day of labor, depending on the company, but why only have the pregnant doctor on duty and not another, just in case?? Nonsensical to me.

The best recommendation we can give comes from our precious Shilo & MIA always excited to get in the car and go to the "doc-tor". Never hesitate and just run into the building. Over the past seventeen years, our Shadow, Sedona and Natasha had reacted with the same enthusiasm. Whether for shots or boarding it is always a positive experience. Have to contributed this to the loving care they received from Dr. Lezcano and the rest of the Central Broward staff. We have called from all over the world to check on our girls and the front desk personnel, Linda, Jeanne and Pam are always patient and thorough with their response. We believe Aldo and the rest of the kennel staff do an amazing job tending to their needs. We know we can trust the care of our girls to the very capable and attentive hands of Central Broward for both their emotional and medical health.

We moved to So. FL from PA in June of 2015 and after two attempts at finding a perfect vet for our baby, we finally found Central Broward Animal Hospital. Our OES has some special needs - hip dysplasia, allergies etc. yet we INSTANTLY felt comfortable and more than happy with CBAH. They made us feel like family from the first visit. They are accommodating and flexible with schedules, ALL vets and vet techs are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and its clearly they offer a HUGE range of services and treatments to help your pet. Its clear they also stay updated on newest research and techniques. No question is ever silly and no request is ever too much. They go above and beyond every single visit and theres NO question that they treat their clients, human and animal, just like family.
