We have been bringing our dogs here for two years and only have wonderful things to say about the vets and staff. They have always been professional, helpful, and above all caring. Several years ago I adopted a senior dog with multiple health issues and my husband and I tried our best to get him healthy and happy again after so many years of medical neglect. Unfortunately there was only so much we could do for his heart and he passed away a few months ago. I didnt want to say goodbye to him at a vet but had no choice since he was suffering at the end. Once we brought him in to hospital though everyone there was so thoughtful and accommodating that not only did it calm him down a bit but also helped me come to terms that I was making the right decision. That day was one of the worst days of my life and yet somehow the vets and staff at VCA Brickell helped me get through it. A day later I received a condolence card from their team and everyone wrote a loving note about my Nevada and it brought me to tears. I still cant believe how fortunate we were to find the right vet and to have them be there for us when we needed them most. I recommend this vet to any animal lover who is looking for a medical team that cares with all their hearts for our furry friends.

My wife took our dog to get a good health certification so she could travel to Mexico. Not only did Dr. Ramirez charge over 150 for a simple letter saying the dog was in good shape, but also pushed for giving her more shots because according to them Mexico required them. She was current on all her shots when we moved from Iowa. I researched it myself with the Mexican authorities and they were very mistaken. We tried to give them an opportunity to own up to their mistake but Dr. Ramirez was not in, so the other Dr. which Im guessing was Dr. Wilber, was rude and tried to talk down to us... argued that she was right when indeed she wasnt claiming it was what the USDA said. Guess what? The Mexican authorities could care less about a U.S. agencys opinion. So the bill was over $250 for something we didnt need (not to mention the additional pain on my dog, Ginger!) Do your research beforehand because this office is very unethical and will charge the heck out of you for vaccines and things your pet does not need. Ill never go back and I hope to file a complaint soon too.

Booked an initial exam and vaccine series on a weekday afternoon, for 30 minutes after I called--the only clinic in the area that had availability. I arrived late at the clinic, due to traffic, but they were extremely courteous and still saw my kitten without a problem. Love that they have parking in the back, and when though it doesnt look like much on the outside, the interior is extremely well-kept and impressive. After the appointment with the vet, who I found very nice and genuinely caring for the animals, I received a phone call the next day to check up on how my kitten was responding to the vaccines. Around a month later, I received both a phone call and a post card reminding me that my kitten was due for the next series of shots. The to my hectic schedule, these reminders are quite appreciated, and the post card ads a great touch in this day and age. Prices for vaccines and checkups seemed reasonable, especially for a small clinic in the brickell area, at least for the small amount of comparison I did.

Called and scheduled an appointment in route to the clinic. Took my information as a new patient over the phone so that I wouldnt have to complete a bunch of paperwork on arrival. Only waited 5 minutes before being seen by the Dr. Dr. seemed knowledgable and professional and recommended a conservative treatment plan. Facility has onsite parking, is in a convenient location, but is a little small. The best part, if youre a first time patient then mention you were referred by Dr. Brown and get a $50 credit towards your first visit. The examination was $50, and so the credit cancelled it and my visit was totally free. CANT BEAT THAT! If I had a criticism, it would be the facility is too small and cramped....but thats very minor. Also, x-rays are too expensive....a set (approximately 2 xrays depending on the view) should normally cost about $100-135.....this place wanted $170. But the exam fee ($50) is market price. I would go back, and that the highest compliment I can pay.

This place is the worst. I always took my dog their for the shots. I told them that i need to travel with my dog and they told me i don t need any paper I left miami for the huricaine and when i arrived in colombia they asked me a certificate and told me your vet can just send it by fax I called them and after explained them the lady told me that i have to come back in miami and meet the doctor to get it. I try to explain them the sitiation and asked to talk to the doctor. She told me to call back in 20mn. Then after 20mn i called back and then she told me the doctor can not talk to me she is busy. They left me blocked at airport in colombia. I had to put my dog in quarantain or flying back to miami with the huricaine... Pls runaway from that place, they charge you for extra service and extra shot and doesn t care to leave you in trouble and worst to not even talk to you... Pls runaway before something will happen to your pet.....

I made the mistake of not going there first and wasted hundreds of dollars on other vets who didnt have the knowledge that Dr. Wilbur has. Everybody there is compassionate and kind with both my kitty and myself. Dealing with my cats kidney failure is overwhelmingly but they make it easier for me to cope with a disease that is chronic and exhausting. They hold my hand when I cry and treat my cat with so much love. With their help and patience Im learning how to provide the home treatment required to hopefully prolong my kittys life for quite some time. The other vet, Dr. Saldana, is amazing and so is the entire staff there. The facility is very nice, the wait isnt long, and their prices are fair. The other place nearby with a similar name was a horrible experience and traumatic for my cat. He was pulling his hair out from the stress he endured. I finally found the right vet which I highly recommend.

What a great experience!!!! Technicians David and Sabrina were AMAZING! I work with customer service, and know a simple smile can go a long way. These two employees were smiling the whole time. It is easy to see that not only do they love animals, but the enjoy what they do. Such passion and dedication creates an environment that welcomes customers. It is not only about the service they provide (which was quick and effective), but how the deliver. Dr. Saldana was just as pleasant. I was pleased from beginning to end. Although completely out of my way (I live in South Beach), I will definitely be coming back. It is worth the trip. Note for the General Manager: Great job taking care of your employees. Happy employees make happy customers. Note about the condition of my pet: After only one dose, Appa already stopped coughing. Hes more energetic than EVER. Sincerely. Appa & Jesus.
