Coral Gables Animal Hospital is the BEST place you could take your beloved animals! From the reception staff, to the doctors support staff, the interns and the nurses, and of course ALL the docs there, care for the animals like you would want to be treated by your own doctor! I trusted Dr. Richter and all the staff with my cats, Alex & Lexie for over 15 years, and when it came time to let them slip from this world, Dr. Richter and his staff couldnt have been more caring, considerate of my emotional feelings, and tender with the handling of my "kids"! Now, for the last 10 years I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Annette Thomas take care of my Cavalier King Charles spaniel. From everyday scrapes and routine exams, to his developing arthritic problems in his back and hips, and with the onset of his murmur at age 5, Dr.Thomas has been there always. She calls me with results of tests personally, she stays in contact with Corkys cardiologist, and she & the staff there keep his records up to the minute straight! I have boarded Corky with them as well, and although hes not the most cooperative boarder or patient, he loves Dr. Thomas & the nurses and staff! I know that at age 10 and in full congestive heart failure, my time with Corky is now limited. But I know that I can count on Dr. Thomas to be there for him and for me till the very end. I recommend the clinic to everyone I know, and I believe there is no better clinic in all of Miami. UPDATE: I just recently lost my Cavalier Corky, while on a cruise Corky developed problems associated with his heart disease and my housekeeper took him to Dr. Thomas right away. If not for her quick decision making, Corky would have died that night and I would not have gotten a chance to say goodbye! Thank you Dr. Thomas and Coral Gables Animal Hospital. Dr. Thomas went further by calling me after Corky passed to check on me! Now, thats a doctor I want for my fur-friends!

Excelente! Tengo 2 gatitos y desde que me recomendaron este lugar finalmente siento que ellos están en un lugar seguro y profesional. Antes estuve en Brickell Animal Hospital y tuve una pésima experiencia. Llevé a mi gatito en perfecta condición solo para ser vacunado y salió de allí en pésimo estado. Estuvo una semana sin caminar ni comer (tenían que hidratarlo). Después escuché a mi petsitter que tuvo una experiencia similar allí. Esa mala experiencia, no solo me lastimó sino costó mas de $4.000 ya que luego lo dejé hospitalizado por 3 noches en un emergence hospital en Dixie Highway. Para entonces no tenía seguro de salud. Gracias a mi petsitter encontré "Coral Gables Animal Hospital", son super cariñosos y de verdad siento que les importa mucho la salud de todas las mascotas. Después de haber encontrado este lugar, aquí me quedaré. Aquí siento que la vida de mis gatitos no solo es valiosa para mí, sino para ellos.

I took my 2 & 1/2 old puppy for an initial exam. I had adopted her and so she had all her vaccines and deworming paid for as well as vet care, but the vet was almost 15 miles from my home. I heard so many great things about the CG Animal Hospital that I decided to give it a try. I had just finished my puppies deworming process not more than a week before I brought her to CG Animal Hospital and they ended up finding worms in her stool. Thank god they explained to me that she was never dewormed properly for her size and weight and that she was just given a general "laxative". Now my puppy is 3 months old and after applying the right meds she is happier and more active then ever. Thank you Dr. Richter! It was an amazing experience and made me feel great knowing how they really care for your pet as if its part of their family.

I moved to Miami almost 3 years ago and was so lucky to find Coral Gables Animal Hospital especially Dr. Thomas. Not only did she care for my 2 dogs but she helped me find my own doctors and dentists. They always go above and beyond what needs to be done. They truly care for my dogs and treat them like their own. The whole staff is wonderful as are the other doctors. Both of my dogs have complicated health issues and they are doing great thanks to everyone at Coral Gables Animal Hospital!!! I highly recommend them.

My family and I have been taking all of our pets to Dr. Richter and Dr. Thomas for close to 20 years. I cant imagine a better, more attentive, or caring place - both for my pets and for me! I live for my dogs and I am an overprotective dog-mom. The entire staff at CGAH has always been ready and more than willing to answer any question I have. Not only that, both Dr. Thomas and Dr. Richter have gone above and beyond with the care they have provided. I cant convey how much I have appreciated them over the years.

I always feel that my pets receive the finest care, whether they are there for a routine check-up or for something more serious. Dr. Thomas is awesome! She took care of my newly adopted dog with lots of care and was very helpful. She took so much time out to explain to me everything that was wrong and how to administer all the medications. I am so glad I left my other vet and took Bailey to Coral Gables animal hospital instead. The wait was a little long, but totally worth it, so I would definitely recommend going there. THANK YOU FOR HELPING MY BAILEY GIRL!!!!!!

I recently got my first puppy. I saw Dr. Cepero at Coral Gables Animal Hospital. All the staff was very friendly. Dr. Cepero and her staff took the time to answer the many questions I had. They were all very good to my puppy and very patient with me. It was a nice touch that a couple days after my visit, Dr. Cepero called me to check to see how the puppy was doing after having received her vaccinations. It is a great place.

They are kind, caring and very supportive and have worked with me regarding treating my various cats around my sometimes long work hours.
