DONT GO THERE IF YOUR PET NEEDS ANYTHING OTHER THAN A ROUTINE CHECK UP AND YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH HONEST PEOPLE! DR. FRISHMAN IS AMAZING IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A PRIVATE DETECTIVE... In response to my review on Yelp, the owner went into a lengthy explanation that contained false statements. Hes done that with other reviewers, so Im not surprised. Dr. Frishman knows very well that there was ZERO potassium in the fluids dispensed to my cat, as both he and the other vet told me that it needed to be ordered. The vet tells me to rush my cat to a 24 hr emergency hospital due to his dangerously low potassium level and severe dehydration. This was after my cat was there for hours receiving IV fluids and stressed beyond belief. Dr. Frishman now claims that my cats potassium level was normal after they gave him fluids for hours which contained potassium. I can hardly believe that he would publicly twist the truth about that, among other things. If he was such a qualified vet, he would be busy treating pets instead of spending so much time online defending himself and his facility from negative comments. It was a very unpleasant experience. Although the new female vet was very nice, she didnt bother to do a culture on my cat and misdiagnosed him with a GI infection and charged me for an antibiotic that was unnecessary. Dr. Frishman wrote on Yelp today that I asked for the antibiotic and didnt want to hear that my cat had kidney failure. Really??She was overly dramatic about my cats kidney disease instead of being calm and explaining that its very treatable. They put my cat in a cage all day to administer IV fluids that lacked the one electrolyte, potassium, that my cat needed the most. She told me to bring him back the next day for more fluids and that shed check to see if there was some potassium lying around. I was appalled. The owner, Dr. Frishman, was very defensive and told me I sounded like a lawyer when I nicely tried explaining to him why I didnt feel comfortable with the other vet who seemed inexperienced. My cat was extremely agitated when I picked him up. I found out why on the way home. His bladder was so full that he was in a lot of pain. They didnt bother to put a litter box in his cage as they pumped fluids in him for hours. It took a couple of days for my cat with kidney failure to calm down. He basically told me to go elsewhere, which another reviewer on Yelp also stated. She used the same words I did to describe how we were asked to never come back. Yet, he now denies it!!!! Dr. Frishman stated or clearly implied in his Yelp response that I was being recorded when he spoke to me in person. He also revealed confidential information publicly. THAT IS ILLEGAL! He offered no apology or willingness to acknowledge anything I had to say. He is always right obviously and the customer is wrong. He records every call and was accusatory about a comment I made to the girl at the front desk. Unbelievable! Another reviewer said that he reads every comment on every site. For someone so "detailed" he could do a much better job at treating people kindly and professionally if hes so worried about his business. I wasted my money and time there, not to mention the trauma that my kitty went through. I fortunately found a much better place nearby with a similar name.

Been going to this place for three years, they only care for money. They moment you have an emergency with your dog they wont care if you go an hour before closing since they only want to go home. If you are looking for a vet that will be there for yoir dog, there are not the guys I tell you. ------ You called us on Monday evening at 6:03. You told us you had an emergency as Bandito had been vomiting all day so we told you to come on in. You told us you couldnt arrive until well after we closed so we referred you to a 24 hour hospital. Then, you called us the next day and told us you didnt take Bandito to the emergency hospital the night before, and now he was experiencing shortness of breath. We tried to accommodate you by offering for you to come in right away, but you still were unable to bring in your dog. And this was offered even after you hung up twice on our staff members who were trying to help you and your dog. After all of that, we simply hope Bandito is doing well and received the care that he needed. ------- To clear any doubts from the response following my review on veterinary service. IT IS NOT THAT I WAS UNABLE TO TAKE MY DOG nor I HUNG UP TWICE ON STAFF MEMBERS (probably Nicole the staff manager is covering her back). IT IS TRUE, first time I called it was too late as they were closing in 40 minutes when I started talking and they told me they had an emergency already coming and that I should go somewhere else as they would not see my dog, SECOND TIME NEXT DAY, I spoke with one of their staff. They DID try to accommodate me which we agreed I had to be there in 10 minutes and I stated It was doable and hung up to run as fast to the veterinary with my dog. Their manager NICOLE (First time I spoke with her)called again asking if I REALLY WAS GOING TO GO OR MAKE IT which my response was obviously yes, but she kept reminding me that they did not have the space available and had another client in 30 minutes. IT FELT THAT NICOLE DID NOT WANT ME TO GO AND I EXPRESSED MY DISAPPOINTMENT WITH HER, US BEING CLIENTS WITH THE VET FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS WHICH SHE REALLY DID NOT CARE, SO I ASKED TO BE SENT MY PETS RECORDS RIGHT AWAY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ITS been few weeks now and it just happens that I need to travel out of the country in short notice, I DECIDED TO GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE, 3 YEARS BEING MY PETS VET isnt anything right? So, I called for an appointment and expressed that I just needed a Health certificate. Margie picked up the phone and politely told me to wait till she could find us an appointment. Do you know who picks back up the phone? well look who it is, Its NICOLE. I immediately reminded her that I still was disappointed with them, but that I was giving them another chance since I had this urgency. HER RESPONSE: well, they hope my dog is ok, but since I reviewed them with the TRUE, they did not want business with me. Dr. Frishman, I liked your veterinary right away the first time since you show how much you care for each pet and explain everything about any procedure, and later when Amanda took on attending Bandido. I hope you see my review as I feel very disappointed as you guys are very good doctors, but staff like Nicole..... Taking my pet somewhere else

My puppy is my first pet. Ive never had any experience with vets before, but the way people always complained about the prices and/or the cleanliness of the place i was a little worried and not too excited about finding a vet for my puppy. Well this place was the total opposite of all the negative things I have ever heard about Vets. This place is amazing. Dr. Frishman is the most loving person I have ever met when it comes to animals. He treats them like they are his own. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with such warm welcomes from his staff. The place is always SPOTLESS. This is an animal hospital and I have never seen one hair on the ground! It also smells amazing! it doesnt smell like there are dogs or cats anywhere. I honestly dont know how they do it. My experience from day 1 when i brought my puppy in at 7 weeks was truly great. I fell in love right away. The way they cared for my puppy was like it was their own. One day my poor baby got his paw stuck under the door while it was closing and the way he screamed made me so unbelievably nervous. I rushed him over to Brickell Bay Animal Hospital with no hesitation and no appointment. They immediately took him in and calmed me down. They told me the price of everything before it was done (which honestly was a heck of a lot less than it thought it would be) and my puppy ended up fine, just some soft tissue damage. They are the best veterinarians I know. I brag about them at work to my co workers with pets. Everyone should come to see Dr. Frishman because honestly I would probably never find better people than the ones working here.
