Jolly Johnson needs to go back to dental school, he must have been asbsent the day day they were learning compasssion, empathy, etc. I went to Comfort Dental when I had extremely painful infection in my tooth. This was my last resort before I went to the ER. I could not believe the pain I was in. I do have to admit I was crying (embarassing) After waiting about 30 min, he finally came in the consult room. I had tears streaming down my face and I begged him to help me and pull my tooth. I asked him what am I supposed to do? The antibiotics were not working and I begged to him to try. He reluctantly agreed to try. I never got Dont worry well help you or even Man Im sorry, I know how painful it can be. Instead I a very annoyed staring at me. When we got back to the chair he proceeded to numb me, well I was bracing myself but he never warned me this might hurt, holy cow he shot right where the infection was and I screamed and cried, I almost passed out. Well he yelled at me and telling me that wasnt necessary. Believe me I didnt want to scream. I told him he could have warned me, he just glared and mumbled something and without warning he did it again. I had it, I decided Im not paying for him to treat me like dirt. I got up and left. The way he acted and treated me is the reason so many people have a fear of dentists. I know things can hurt but he could of least been nice about it, and could have showed me that he cared. It was veru apparent he did not. I should have not went there, I knew better. They get doctors right out of dental school. I have dental insurance but I could not get into any "real" dentist. Please dont go there especially dont take your children there. My son was with me and he was very upset at the whole thing. I wouldnt doubt it that the last poster is him or his wife.

I live up in Fort Collins and find it well worth the 45 minute drive to come see Dr. Jolly in Longmont. Ive had everything from cleanings to wisdom teeth removed at his hand. I studied biology so Im always eager to hear specifics of procedure and anatomy and Jolly is eager and willing to explain. Ive always had an overactive gag reflex and hated going to the dentist growing up because of it, once you throw up on a dentist you never really want to go back... Jolly is very specific with you at the beginning of your procedure that if you are feeling uncomfortable or need a break to let him know- hes very accommodating in that way and I really appreciate it. Hes always discussed options with me before we start a procedure like an extraction, given me tips on how I could improve my daily oral routine, and recommended products I could use to help even more. With any dental procedure theres going to be a level of discomfort, no matter the dentist, and even with the most healthy of mouths. I think some of these reviewers probably need to change their expectations; if you have tartar, they have to use a metal tool to scratch it off- youre not going to the spa, haha. Jolly is a great dentist, and like I said, I drive a ways to be able to receive his care because its worth it.

Ive been a patient at this Comfort Dental for three years now. Luckily, Dr Aaron was the first doctor I saw and I continue to return to him. Ive also recommended him to my parents. Dad was impressed, and hes not easily impressed. Mom will see Dr. Aaron for the first time next week. Dr. Aaron is *very* gentle, attentive and patient. I had a traumatic experience with a dentist as a child, so going to the dentist tends to be quite a stressful event for me. My stress level has been reduced from a 10 to 2 with Dr. Aaron. Dr. Aaron does take the time to explain every procedure and every option with me before proceeding. I appreciate knowing all my options and not being forced into one. He is the only dentist that has ever taken the time, every time to inform me of my options. Moreover, I cannot stress enough, just how truly gentle he is as well as his assistants. Every step of the way they inquire about my pain and comfort level. If something hurts they stop. Ive had several cavities filled and one bridge done by Dr. Aaron and I have no complaints. Dr. Aaron and his staff are caring and compassionate. You cant put a price on that because it is so rare in dentistry. I absolutely recommend Dr. Aaron Mortensen for your dental needs.

DO NOT GO HERE. Scheduled a teeth cleaning, went in and had to wait in the waiting room for almost an hour. After the "nurse" made my entire mouth bleed from doing a terrible job at doing xrays, she told me the doctor would be right in. After another half hour, the doctor came in, did a 2 minute exam and told me "you have 5 cavities and need to have 2 teeth removed and a deep cleaning." All this when Ive had 0 cavities my entire life and no teeth problems. I asked him to do the cleaning and he told me they didnt have time and I would have to reschedule. I paid the ridiculous "copay" amount and left. The next day I went to another dentist and got a second opinion. And guess what? No cavities or any other issues. I will NEVER go back to this office again. Its clear they care about money and nothing else. I will tell anyone and everyone to run from this place as fast as possible. If I could give it -6 stars I would.

I went in to get a filling done, while the cost was reasonable it doesnt make up for the shoddy work done by not the dentist but the hygenist. After the dentist did the drilling she took over. Not only was her bedside manner poor, hardly ever let me rinse the crap out of my mouth, she botched the first attempt at the filling. The dentist had to come back in, drill out the poor work, and then allowed her to do it again. After my 4 shots of novocaine wore off I realized they jacked up my gold crown that was next to the tooth I got the filling for. I called the dentist that night and told him he better fix this ASAP. I havent been able to eat a thing due to the pain of an exposed nerve. Not only did the filling start coming out after I left the office but my crown is now damaged from poor accuracy when they were drilling. Ive never had such a bad experience at a dentis and I will never go here again.

What a wonderful experience. I should start by saying that due to a trauma 6 years ago I have been very afraid of anyone working around or in my mouth. Dr. Jolly was Wonderful and his staff was very understanding too. we just talked for a while till he understood what i needed and bot did he deliver. Unfortunately since it had been so long since i had gone to a dentist I had 9 cavities. I was still terrified but each staff member put me at ease and helped me work through it. It too 3 appointments. A consult and x-rays, 6 cavities one day and 3 cavities the nest appointment. Dr jolly even called me on his way home the might of my first cavity appointment to make sure I was still doing alright. I have never had such personal care from a doctor...and I have been to a lot of doctors in the last 6 years. I would recommend him to anyone I know
