First of all Krystal and Kimberly are awesome and I had sent a email through their website and was promptly called shortly thereafter to set up an appointment for a sore tooth that turned out to be dying and needed a root canal. They have to bring in an endontist for this he comes once a month so I dont recommend waiting on it like I did. It didnt hurt and they were quick maybe an hour and a half for the root canal and a temp crown prep and placement. Rooted tooth hurt a bit so I came in today and they did a bite adjustment and its feeling much better. I think they have a lot of super high tech stuff here which explains the cost but the for the value its worth it because they diagnosed some stuff that nobody else ever even told me about and thats gonna save me some pain and money down the road.

My son is going to college in Colorado, out of state. I found Lakewood Dentists through our insurance. Lakewood Dental told my 19-year-old he was hemorrhaging and his teeth were loose. They sent him home with a $2000 price quote. When I called the office, the receptionist insisted that he needed all of this crazy dental work and repeated visits after the initial $2000 visit. This place ought to be ashamed! They totally scared a KID who has no idea about dental treatments other than brushing. When my son went to another dentist it was a $200 treatment--$1800 difference. DO NOT GO HERE! They do not care about dental health. They only care about money in their pockets!

Thought I would add my previous review to Google that I have on Yelp. Was told I needed work done that I actually didnt need done according to the second opinion I went and got. The dentist immediately wants you to set up an appointment to have the work done giving no thought as to whether you can afford it or not. She seems surprised should you question her about her diagnosis. Also, stating they also do orthodontics is misleading. In talking to the lady at the front desk, they actually refer you to an orthodontist who has their own practice. No longer using their services

There are SO MANY REASONS I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DENTIST OR RECOMMEND THEM ... the appointment took forever. the gal doing the xrays didnt know how to do them. nothing seemed to be working in the place, so everything took three times as long as it should have taken. the dentist had to clean my teeth because no one else was available. they couldnt do my crown adequately and tried to upsell me into an implant for $$$$$$$.

I was referred to Dr. Lowry by my long time dentist to perform a re-constructive root canal. Dr. Lowry, his assistant and especially Ray the Office Manager were excellent to work with. The procedure went great, no complaints what so ever. We did have a minor billing issue, which Ray handled professionally and to my satisfaction. Highly suggesting Lakewood Dentists and Orthodontics.

Very friendly staff. Ive had my wisdom teeth extracted here and a couple of crowns done and have been very satisfied with the results. They have been very clear as to what I need to do at home and the current condition of my teeth. I highly recommend them.

While the staff was friendly the actual dentistry is horrid. 2 of the crowns I got fell off one within a week and the other within a year. The nice people arent worth having expensive problems with their poor work.

On top of being a scam place medical wise. There were a balance on my account. Instead of contacting me to pay the balance, they went directly to a collection agency to collect the debits & my record is ruined.

The doctor is trying to scare the patient about the conditions of their teeth, to make him buy more services. I consulted another doctor and he told me my teeth is fine .... DON"T GO TO THEM

This place is a scam. I went in for a basic cleaning, and their primary concern is the potential upsell/profits from your dental work. Stay away!
