I went to a dentist in Dublin that my daughter recommended. After the dental hygienist took a few minutes to clean my teeth, she told me that I would need to make an appointment with a periodontist (which they recommended) if I wanted a deeper cleaning. I learned that an appointment with a periodontist could cost a thousand dollars or more! I remembered that when I had dental insurance through my employer, I had scheduled a teeth cleaning with a former dental hygienist at Smile Makers. My wife remembered that he had done the most thorough cleaning she had ever had. So rather than call the periodontist, I took a chance and called Smile Makers to make an appointment. Colleen Avery spent not just a few minutes, but 2.5 hours, on getting my teeth back the way they had been. She was obviously very patient but also very professional with me. The charge for her service was only a small fraction of what I would have paid a periodontist (which is a big deal to me now that I am self-employed). I doubt that a periodontist would have taken the same care and pride in their work that Colleen did. I have used Facebook Messenger to tell all of my friends about my wonderful experience with Colleen! Needless to say, I will not be visiting the dentist in Dublin, but will be returning to Smile Makers, hopefully to see Colleen, in three months.

Harrisburg Pike Location - Im 35 and I hate...I mean haaaate going to the dentist. I have had at least 5 in my life that have really had me in pain with certain procedures, pisspoor bedside manor, didnt listen or seemingly care in general and/or did a bad job on whatever was being done. This place is great. Every single employee Ive met so far has been wonderful. I hate needles, especially in my mouth - I barely even felt a thing at smilemakers...to have a rootcanal and filings with minimal discomfort is huge. Ive literally had worse cleanings at other places. My kids (16 & 12) feel the same way and one said "maybe not all dentists are so bad afterall". Im definitely a fan of this place and so happy I chose to go. We will not go anywhere else from now on. For LGBT: My teen is trans & gay. I can confirm this is a safe place to go with zero awkwardness. They will use preferred name & pronouns after being informed. (Just put it on paperwork as preferred, I made a box for transmale for gender as well & if youd rather not risk the waiting room hearing...just have a note prepared to explain to give to reception)

The staff are really nice, but one person who was doing my braces, every time she does my braces or change color, she hurts me a lot, I feel pain & felt that she doesnt care, Whenever she does it, I get cut somewhere in my month, I leave bleeding But when I have other ones who does my braces or changing color , they are careful and does it like none-painful way... I want to report the women a lot of times but I did not want cost her job. But for sure if next time I get her, I will report her because she does it rude way & careless!

This is the worst dentist ever! One time they dropped a tool, and then used it in my mouth. Everytime I go there I get strep throat! They are rude and dont communicate at all; not even with parents! I would never recommend anyone to this place, not even my worst enemy! Its terrible! I have braces from there and not even five minutes later three pieces fall off! Right now my gums are sore because they didnt glue the metal good enough on my teeth and theyre stuck under my gums. It sucks. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I love my dentist is not something you normally hear but with the service I get from Smile Makers West they make it easy. Colleen Avery, R.D.H., B.S. and Dr. Travis Ryan D.D.S. are the best; they are kind and gentle and always very friendly. I feel like they take care of me as if I were family. I actually moved to Arizona almost 7 years ago but still schedule my dental exams and cleanings when I come to Ohio because I receive such great service!

Dont go here!! They scheduled a patient for work on a Saturday march 12 2011 everyone was rude and acted like we were putting them out. they told another patient her doctor didnt come in and that she wouldnt be able to be seen for two more weeks but they couldnt give her any pain medicine or antibiotics. Then my girl went back and the nurse was slamming the tools around and saying how she hates to work Saturdays.

The staff is always friendly and courteous here, makes you feel like you are family. Needed an appointment rather quickly and they were able to get me in the next day. Needed to get a crown and was out the door in less then 3 hours with a new crown. Painless and on my way ... and reasonably priced Thank you so much

The first time I ever went to the dentist was here. I was surprised and relieved at how kind, compassionate, patient and non-judgemental the staff are. Any time someone I know has a dental issue I always recommend Smile Makers because they put you right at ease and quickly solve the problem.

This is the most RELAXING and FUN Dental office I have ever been too! The Staff always welcomes you and it feels like home. I was impressed with Dr. Pushkin, he was very gentle and takes his time with you. I give this dental office A++!!!!!!!!!
