Pros- The friendliness of the staff! They know me by first name and make me feel welcome (especially since I am extremely anxious about dentist apts in the first place) Cons- I have been going here my entire life, and after having to redo root canals that they didnt complete properly the first time (and charging me again!!!), or cavities, its been a complete turn off. After going to another dentist, Ive realized their prices are also quite high here. And they are always pushing extra services (like braces, etc) when I have told them I could not afford them 100 times already. I get it, you have a job to do- but the constant pushiness is a turn off. Put a note in the customers file if you cant remember what they have said towards one of the services they have declined. It would help the communication a lot!

Be prepared to be quoted big $$$!!! Dr. Schwartz wanted to pull my perfectly good front bottom teeth and put in a partial with a $5000 out of pocket cost! He gave me NO other option! He would not address some other issues I had and said they couldnt be repaired or it was cosmetic! He also missed some things. I have another dentist who is saving my front bottom teeth and repairing those other issues, along with some others that are NOT cosmetic, all for 1/2 the out of pocket cost!!! I wish I would have left and found the dentist I have now a LONG time ago! I will never know if the work Dr.Schwartz has already done was totally unnecessary!!! Dr.Schwartz also is not up to date on the latest procedures and technology.

Great all the way around! I was a patient over ten years ago and left when I moved further away. After visiting other dentist my family and I decided that Comfort was definitely worth the drive. Dr. Rick is the best and his staff is very friendly and efficient. Our hygienist really took special care to make my special needs son comfortable. For several years he was restrained while getting his teeth clean needless to say this made going to the dentist a struggle. He now actually looks forward to going to the dentist and does a much better job at home caring for his teeth. Thank you guys so much for all you do.

I went to CFD on the referral of coworkers who had great experiences. Dr. Rick and his staff are generally pleasant and efficient. HOWEVER, if you are considering a root canal I recommend that you see a specialist. I am in the process of having every root canal done at CFD re-treated because Dr. Rick missed canals. CFD does not have the specialized equipment that an endodontist does and I wish I would have been referred to a specialist when I was going here. I have since switched to a different dentist who knows their limitations and does not attempt to complete treatments that they are not equipped to do.

I am a person that has always HATED going to the dentist. When I started using CFD this all changed. I am never in pain, Dr. Rick is very sneaky when numbing you do not see it or feel pain from the needle. The assistants are awesome people, they always make you feel very welcome. I recently had my entire smile redone, the process was easy and painless. I went from a person who would never smile in pictures because I did not like my teeth. To loving the way my smile looks. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rick and his staff and would reccomend them to anyone!!!

I think this place blows. First time ever going here they took upon themselves to put a metal filling in when all my other fillings are white. Figured i would let that go since maybe.....whatever, I complained and they changed it to a white filling. Then they put a new crown in on 2nd visit and elected to not cement it in (I have several crowns from other dentist and theyve always been cemented right away) a few hours later while at home eating a piece of cake the crown fell out. I will be looking for a new dentist.

I love Comfort Family Dental. The staff is awesome. They make even the most scariest procedures as pain free as possible. And thats saying a lot coming from me. I am TERRIFIED of pain at the dentist, but Ive come to really trust Dr. Rick, Jermaine, Beverly, Laurie, & the rest of the staff. They take good care of me. And Dr. Rick is a real expert at what the does. Ive never had any issues after my procedures. Theyre the best!!

I have been coming here for almost 3 years. Dr. Rick is an upstanding guy and he and his staff have always discussed all options and costs with me. I am fortunate to have dental benefits but do know of others without such insurance whom reported affordable and quality service provided to them. I would highly recommend if you work or live in the area and are seeking a new dental practitioner.

Clean and best high tech equipment in southern Macomb county. Doctor Rick is the best, he is funny, patient, and doesnt make you wait to long. His staff is smart, quick and family oriented. Very funny and pleasant. Put a daughter thru Invisalign and the price was VERY affordable. He worked out a payment plan i could afford with no contract to sign. Very honest and honorable.

I have been a patient at comfort family dental for almost 14 years. Dr. Rick and his staff do make you feel like family. At the age of 33 I needed my first root canal. I was very nervous, however Dr. Rick and his knowledgeable staff kept me at ease throughout the procedure. The staff here including Dr. Rick are Professional, Courteous, and a pleasure to be around.

Very friendly front office staff, the Dental Asisstant was very professional and friendly and seemed very competent. She made sure I was numb before beginning any work and the process of numbing was easy to endure. She made sure I understood all the costs to me before scheduling any further work, which I greatly appreciated!

I love this place! The dental assistants and Dr.Rick is awesome! I took my daughter in there for her first time and everybody was so good with her and made her tears turn into a smile and she loves it and wants to come back to make her teeth all sparkley hehe in her words :-) I highly recommend this place :-)
