This was the worst dentist experience ever. I left my previous dentist due to hours and tried Gentle Dental. I was told that I needed a crown (but i am learning now that I probably did not need a crown) and got one. My crown is 7 months old, it does not cover my root, it has decay and it is sensitive. It has to be replaced. (I was advised to file a complaint against the dentist with the Michigan Dental Association but was unable to do so as the doctor who did the work is not a member) I also had a few fillings done. My upper tooth was worked on 3 times by two different dentists. The filling was too small and food was pocketing between my tooth and the gum and it was painful. Despite being worked on three times, the food is still pocketing and now I have extreme sensitivity, something I did not have a problem with before as related to this tooth. I also had a filling done on the bottom, that one had to be done 2 times as the filling was too big and I was unable to floss. It to has to be repaired again because the space is now too big and it pockets food. I was also told I needed a crown on the lower right side but I went back to my old dentist and had my tooth examined. I only need a filling, not a crown. Currently, my old/current dentist is having to repair every tooth that Gentle Dental worked on. My recommendation is to find a private dentist and get the work Gentle Dental does checked and second opinions as you may not need the expensive procedures done.

Definitely not your traditional style dental office where the customer feels that "personal" touch/connection. Had work done awhile back and dentist started work on a tooth that wasnt the one needing the work. Switched to correct tooth but didnt say anything. Next dentist noticed and was honest enough to tell me (which made me give a second star versus one) and said to come back and he would fix it no charge. I scheduled an appointment later in the month, but had to cancel to go out of town for work. Told receptionist I would have to find another day in the future. I have never received a follow-up phone call or email to reschedule that appointment to repair that tooth. They put that on the customer. My former dentist who retired would always call to see how things were. He would have reminded me to get that scheduled to fix the mistake. That "personal" touch. My retired dentist would always email me or call me to remind me when it was time for my six month appointment. Gentle Dental never has. Traditional dentists knew their customers. This "corporate style" of dentistry has lost sight of that. Gave a third star as dental assistants were always friendly and professional. I went back to a traditional dentist.

Gentle Dental is not Patient with children at all. They say they will take children but you dont ever see any in office, office isnt set up well for kids overly cramped. One of the prominant Hygienists there is very hyper and has short temper which is esp not a good quality for working with children. Very impatient borderline angry about working with children. It wasnt just one time, i thought maybe it was just a bad day first time i went there but second time was worse. They could have set up two appointments or something because she got really abrupt and rude midway though the cleaning and instead of offering to set up another appointment because it wasnt going fast enough for her. they dont work with you or your child at all. None of them seem to have there own kids, you can tell on how they treat kids...the website also promotes " they do the gas sedation" but the Hygienist there said they dont have it there so that seems like false advertising. Take your child to a different place to get quality care, with patient people".

I have been looking for a dentist office like this for years. They take your anxiety about the dentist seriously and make sure no pain is their number one priority. My first appointment the staff (especially the dental assistant) was awesome and made me feel right at home. Dr. Mangal advised me to bring in my headphones next time to make myself feel more at ease - which I thought was awesome and a good way for a patient to feel more comfortable with the office. I went to my appointment today scared out of my mind and walked out of there feeling like Ill never be scared of the dentist ever again. The dental assistant was again amazing and Dr. Mangal is the most professional dentist out there. You will not be disappointed. Call them. The name says it all. Thank you to the staff and office!!

Been going to Gentle Dental - Dr. Qamar for 1 yr+ now. the place is clean and the staff is cordial. I had a couple of emergencies and they accommodated me same day. Dr. Qamar is the reason I go there. He is very sincere and knowledgeable and explains the process before he does anything. Seems to have up to date equipment and X-ray machines. He is also very tuned to his patience pain tolerance. He is very comfortable to deal with. All in all, excellent place and highly recommended Dentist.

I have visited the Gentle Dental of Warren for 2 years now. I cant say enough great things about Dr. Mangal & the whole staff. They have put me on the right track for my dental needs. Krista my hygienist was kind enough to listen to me about my concerns with my sensitive teeth. I made it through my cleaning, pain free. The front desk always greets me with a smile & hello. And Brittany helped me with my insurance & dental plan. Thank you. I am no longer afraid of the dentist.

Was here a week ago and Dr Mangal & Casey were fantastic! Had a tooth extracted & 2 teeth with crowns worked on. They give you updates throughout the procedures and always ask if you need a break. The surgeon came to check in with the extraction & another assistant asked if I needed anything, this was an excellent display of collaboration with all the dental professionals in the Warren office. Give this Dentist a chance and you will be proud to smile wide

Nice clean newer office with multiple dental chairs. Great location and parking. A somewhat open floor plan with some privacy. Large flat screens in each room. As with all dental offices nowadays there is always the upsell go to get more expensive services such as deep cleaning. This is mostly for older patients and people who dont care for teeth I suppose. Makes me floss more. I love the staff especially Teri who treats my family.

Love the staff! I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate them. Christa the hygienist, Dr. Mangal, every assistant and the office staff (Brittany, Tori) are all awesome. I dont feel like a number here, they take the time to ask you how youre doing, and get to know you. Ive had numerous procedures and they make it painless. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
