Having recently moved to the area from Pennsylvania, I had no dentist here. Fortunately for me, my daughter is a patient of Dr. Shahamat and highly recommended her to me. I broke a tooth up under the gum line and all that remained was old filling. I do not enjoy trips to the dentist except for cleanings and was VERY nervous about my "mess of a tooth" and having the work completed by a dentist I did not know. My nervousness was a waste of my energy. What a great dental experience from my first phone call explaining my situation through leaving the office with a new crown. First the staff is amazing; professional, welcoming, and very efficient. Then I met Dr. Shahamat (Dr. Sheila). What a wonderful and caring dentist. She looked at what was left of my tooth, explained options, and we settled on the reality that yet another crown was the wisest choice and I would need to schedule an appointment to have the work completed. While waiting in reception to schedule that appointment, Dr. Sheila stepped out and offered to do the work on Tuesday at noon. Her office closes at noon on Tuesdays! I never had a doctor offer to do that for me. I arrived at her office on Tuesday at noon and walked out of the building at 1:25 p.m. with a brand new crown in place. All done! In less than two hours, the filling was removed and a new crown created and put in place. Dr. Sheila is highly skilled. Watching her work with her cutting-edge equipment makes me wonder at the many hours of continued training in which she must participate. I would recommend Dr. Sheila and the Crown Point Dental Care staff, without reservation, to anyone looking for compassionate, cutting edge, top-notch dental care.

The professionals in Dr. Shahamats office are THE BEST that I have ever experienced in my long-time dental career. Dr. Shahamat has so many of the NEWEST types of computer-driven dental digital, imaging and robotic machines, giving patients the newest available techniques... and now including a new relaxing private PAMPER ROOM where you can have complimentary services including full-body chair massage, warm essential oil towels, hand dips, music, movies and more...all during the minimal waiting time of an extended procedures. Where else can you have ONE APPOINTMENT to have an old crown removed, the tooth prepped, a NEW PERFECT crown (created by Dr. Shahamat and her computer-driven machines) and then fitted/adjusted--sending you out the door--finished! ...all in about 1.5 hours! This means no uncomfortable tray impressions and no temporary crowns during multiple visits! In my book Dr. Shiela gets a 100++ for her skills, consultations and techniques. With every appointment I have, I am more impressed with the continued education and updates on the newest, painless, most efficient procedures! Plus she has very good payment plans and packages, whether you have insurance or not. All this because SHE CARES ...AND her charges match other dental offices that dont offer many of these features! I wish ALL service-oriented offices could be like Dr. Sheila and her staff ! I am so thankful I found her!

I was just at Crown Point this morning so was moved to submit a review. Ive been going to Dr. Shahamat for more than a decade (and that was because my friends and co-workers go to her). Ive had everything from cleanings to root canal therapy. She and her staff are always so very pleasant, kind, thoughtful, and caring. There really are not enough superlatives to cover them. The one thing I hear myself repeating to others is what a pleasant overall experience it is. And with such an open environment you know it is genuine. Everything is always the latest and greatest there - Ive watched as a machine created a filling for me from a computer image. Ive had zoom whitening and even Botox for migraines. You cannot go wrong as they provide free consultations. So GO to Crown Point Dental Care - you will be glad you did. Oh, and Dr. Sheila (as everyone calls her) is a very small person but with strong, yet tiny hands -- think about it ;D

Going to the dentist has been always stressful for me no matter what the work was, till I started going to Crown Point Dental. Dr. Shahamat is extremely competent at what she does and takes good care of her patients. She takes time to make me as comfortable as possible, taking as many breaks as I needed in order to help me to be relaxed. Trusting your dentist is the first key to have a stress free dental experience and it happens every time I go to her office. The staff is also very kind, knowledgeable and supportive and for some major procedures like crowning, they will offer perks such as massage chair, hot towel and such. The fact that the office is equipped to build the crown in just couple of minutes is a huge advantage that I haven’t seen in any other places. I’ve been going to her over a year now and overall, I’m 100% satisfied with the experience and refer her to my friends.

Dont buy a Groupon from them. I bought one, tried to make an appointment 3 different times, but they never had any openings. Of course it expired. I called Groupon and they said "no problem, the amount of money you paid doesnt expire, they must allow you to use the $299 you spent toward the service." I called, explained the situation and finally scheduled an appointment. On appointment day I drove across town for my appointment and was pulling into park when they called and said "Sorry, we wont accept your Groupon." I replied "Im already here, why didnt you call me this morning so I didnt schedule my entire day around this appointment?" I finally told them Id file a complaint with Groupon, which I did. Thankfully Groupon refunded me. What a giant waste of time. Dont use this office!

Amazing Dentist and staff! Doctor Shahamat has been my dentist for over ten years now. I have full confidence in her as well as her friendly staff who always make going to the Dentist a good experience. At each visit Doctor Shahamat provides me with needed information on how to best take care of my oral health, always emphasizing that prevention is the best way to go. At CrownPoint Dental I enjoy the care of a really great, meticulous team of professionals who provide the best dental care possible. And of course I go to this practice because Dr. Shahamat is highly skilled and genuinely wants to do right by her patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Shahamat to anyone in Columbus looking for a good dentist. Her office has all the latest technology and a warm and welcoming staff!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Shahamat for over three years. She is a wonderful dentist, and is kind, patient and caring. She uses the latest cutting edge technology, and stays current with all the new innovations for her dental practice. She is practical, and gives good advice concerning solving problems that need to be addressed. She also is very good at managing patients with special needs, and is able to successfully complete complicated dental work with a patient who has impaired communication skills and cognitive impairment. This combination is very unusual and is extremely valuable for families with members who have special needs, and require dental services. We recommend her highly to anyone who is in need of a very competent dentist.
