Quick note: your first appointment may not be a cleaning. I thought I was getting a cleaning but ended up just getting x-rays and told I needed a root canal. I had my root canal there and, as far a root canals go, it wasnt bad! I got to watch HGTV and they got it done in two visits back in March 2016. I have a very tiny mouth and these were also the most comfortable x-rays Ive ever had done. Dr. Jose is wonderful. Im sorry I cant for the life of me remember who else I saw. They told me I needed my wisdom teeth done and I was originally going to go somewhere else due to scheduling reasons. They gave me a script with no issues and gave me names of other surgeons in the area. I ended up going back to Aspen Dental because I didnt feel comfortable with the surgeon I chose. Aspen has a surgeon on site every month or so and they got me in for an appointment two days after I called. The extraction itself was wonderful (done on 2/24/17). The assistant (whose name I am really sad I cant remember) was easy going, personable, and kept me at ease before the procedure. The surgeon (Matthew McDonough) was the same. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain things to me. They kept my husband in the loop the entire time and explained all of my discharge instructions to him since I was a bit too loopy to remember them myself! I ended up having an allergic reaction to something after the procedure and called Dr. McDonough the next day at he number provided on my discharge packet. He missed my call but returned it within ten minutes letting me know what he believes my reaction was to. I called him on a Saturday and he was so patient and kind. Really, not enough nice words for this facility. I hate dental work but they are so friendly and compassionate and do what they can to keep you comfortable. Ive also never had to wait and thats always a plus!

I visited this location today after work for their free exam and x-ray with the intentions of paying for a cleaning after the exam. The only way I can describe this experience is like going to Great Clips for a haircut , except its a dentist office. From the time they called my name to come back to the time they were trying to get my credit card numbers was at the very most about 15 minutes. the doctor came in the exam room and looked in my mouth for literally probably 15 seconds before showing me to the managers office where he informed me that I had 9 cavities and the early stages of gingivitis and gum disease. Keep in mind I have never ever had tooth problems, my gums do not bleed when I brush, my teeth dont hurt and I regularly take care and maintain my mouth. When they sat me down in the managers office they proceeded to explain to me that I needed extensive gum irrigation treatments and I had 9 cavities that needed filled immediately to the tune of $2,500 in dental work. I told the manager I appreciate the quote, but I just wanted to get a cleaning for today. he explained to me that unfortunately I was not a candidate for a cleaning because that would be like trying to "put a Fresh coat of wax on a dirty car" to use his words. But the moment that I truly knew it was a scam was when he prompted me for my ID to start the process of financing before I even expressed any type of desire to have the work done. I felt like I was at a used car lot or listening to a telemarketer trying to close a deal on a cheap Appliance LOL. After that I showed my way out and I will not be returning to the Great Clips of Dentistry AKA Aspen Dental...buyer beware these people dont care about you, they care about your wallet and specifically thinning it out

The management and office staff are the worst. I had work done in February and my out of pocket was $498 with isnt the problem the $870 dollar balance was to be billed to my insurance but never was. In August I got a bill for it, I called and even went in to find out why they never bothered to bill my insurance and Erica told me it slipped threw the cracks and she took care of it. Ok now forward to September and I get a second notice say it was going to collections. I called my insurance and found out that there wasnt any claims ever filed from Aspin Dental ever. This time I called there Joke of a office manager and went over this again and asked why they never bothered to ever file the claim and he wouldnt or couldnt give me a answer but hed dig into this and get back to me by the end of the day. Well never heard from that tool again till after 3 tries to have him call me back the forth time he answered the phone and had no choice but to talk to me then. He said that it slipped threw the cracks again but he took care of it. I asked for proof it was handled this time and he said " No Problem Ill email the stuff youll need this afternoon. While I was talking to him he told me I could file the claim myself with my insurance, my response to that was so if I take a dump are you going to wipe my butt for me. I told him Im not going to do your job for you anymore then youll do my job for me. I gave him my email and thats the last time I ever heard anything. No email ever came and he wont return any calls again. Aspin Dental SUCKS and Ill never deal with them again!

I dont ever post bad reveiws, but this experience was awful. I just went to this office for a new patient exam and cleaning. I arrived 15 minutes early with my new patient paperwork already filled out. The dental assistant brought me back 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment and began taking my X-rays. The first set performed standing was no problem, and then the second round of X-rays where I had to bite down on some guards were too big for my mouth. I kept telling him I couldnt bite down and that they were cutting the roof and bottom of my mouth and he said, "your mouth is too smal, just bite, you will be fine" and did not offer me youth sized X-ray guards. He had to take 6+ bite X-rays on each side and never gave me a reason why I needed so many. Then the dentist came back for 5 minutes, stuck his finger in my mouth and said you dont have any cavities, looks good and left the room. The office manager followed and asked what I came in for and I said a cleaning, he asked when I wanted that done and I said today, thats what I came in for, and he replied that they had no hygienist in the office today and that I would have to schedule another appointment for that. Terrible communication and did not feel like I was taken care of or values as a customer. I will never go back.

Worst experience ever at this place. After my first appointment as a new patient, they told the guy who is responsible for the plan and payment is not here today and will call you tomorrow. Therefore, I waited two days for the phone call but no one called. I called in and told them that no one called me, so they told the guy just got back and will call you today. I waited that day but no one called. The next day, I was close by the office, so I stopped by and I asked why no one called me, they were apologizing and told me tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday are closing due to Christmas. However, they told we will make sure the guy will call you Monday or Tuesday max. Guess what no one called me either Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday afternoon, I called in and I was upset and I told them why you kept me waiting all these times, I wanna talk to the manager cuz this is unprofessional at all. Guess what they told, the manager is "the guy" who was supposed to call me,,,, I was shocked by that and if the management is like this at the first appointment, imagine what will happen later,,, I am glad that I found out early,,, I am sorry for this long comment, it is because of the stress I got from them.... Be careful
