We were desperate to find a good vet to give us a second opinion for our poor Pomeranian who was having seizures daily. We found Colleyville Animal Clinic via Yelp, which showed amazing reviews, and booked an appointment to consult a vet right away. Long story short, the vet suggested putting our Pomeranian down. Hes 4. Literally gave us no other suggestion and made it seem as tho our dog had a good life and really should just put him down so he didnt have to continue going through the big question of figuring out what to do for him. Well, that was THE WORST experience weve ever had. Given the fact our dog is perfectly healthy in every other way and ONLY 4. We called our home vet and they pleaded for us to be patient while they continued to find the correct dosing for the seizure medication he was put on previously. Since then, we upped his dosage by one pill more daily and he is PERFECT. NO thanks to Colleyville Animal Clinic!!!! If we would have listened to them our poor dog would be PUT DOWN! What kind of vet office would EVER recommend this first!!! Terrible. Thinking about it makes me sick to my stomach and Im so happy my Pom is healthy and now perfectly fine. I will NEVER recommend this vet... unless youre Cruella De Vil!

Best! I apparently wrote this a few years ago: Love them! My dog loved them. After three miserable years going to Heritage, I brought my dog in for a second opinion on her "heart condition." Doctor referred me to a cardiologist because he believed she had been misdiagnosed. Dr. Wilson explained everything to me in great detail, which I greatly appreciated. I did get my dog in with the cardiologist after my appointment and my dog was ultimately diagnosed as not having any heart condition at all. She is so healthy and energetic again now that shes off all that medication. Now here is what I will say recently: Dr. Wilson is awesome and helped me out so much with my beloved pommy all the way through her passing. Her life was surely elongated and made more enjoyable by his discovering the above described misdiagnosis. I really appreciate when a medical professional of any kind speaks to me like a normal, educated adult capable of doing research and understanding complex ideas. He and his staff are really caring and thoughtful with your pets.

Colleyville Animal Clinic (CAC)has been our Vet for 12 years. Unfortunately, my fur baby passed a couple of weeks ago. But, as sad as that has been for us, the care, love and attention that we felt at CAC was above and beyond. They provided such great care from 6 weeks old to the very end. Dr. Blick was so caring especially during the last 9 months of my puppys life, being attentive from the care, the follow up and helping find alternative homeopathic opportunities for her. From the staffs warm and friendly greetings through the entire appointment, they are GREAT! From new puppy questions and boarding to walking through treatment plans at the end, you could not ask for more qualified and truly compassionate professionals. When we get our new puppy, we will be back at CAC.

I rescued a German Shepherd from a junkyard almost 4 years ago and immediate brought her in to Colleyville Animal Clinic. She was sick with heart worms, hookworms and she was under-nourished. After intensive heart worm treatments, and a couple of hospitalizations, my girl Ruby was given a clean bill of health. Under the continuing care of Dr. Blick and Dr. Wilson, and their awesome staff, Ruby has grown into a healthy and happy dog. She especially loves Dr. Blick and is always "sits pretty" when he sees her. One day, she just walked in and stood up with her two front paws on the counter as if to say "Hi, you know me, Im here for my appointment!" Thank you Colleyville Animal Clinic!

They are always friendly and take time to listen to my dogs issues. They even trimmed her dew claws for no charge which really helped because one of her claws is two claws fused together so its really hard for me to trim. The vets and staff are knowledgeable and easy to get ahold of and once I needed my dogs proof of vaccination right away because I decided to get her groomed spur of the moment and I called them and they immediately emailed me the paperwork. They also dont seem to overcharge. They told me I could get her Apoquel for itching online and I checked online and it cost just as much online as at the vet so I was glad to know they dont jack up the price. Thank you Colleyville!

Love Colleyville Animal Clinic! The staff there is ALWAYS so kind and pleasant. They are always incredibly patient and helpful with all of our questions. Both of high anxiety German Shepherds had a procedure done there, including an abnormal neuter, and everything went very well! Our male is really strong and is nearly impossible to get him to be still when trying to give shots, trim nails, or pretty much anything else but they were sweet with him and found the best way to ensure he wasnt harmed in the process. Prices are higher than some vets but not unreasonable and knowing how wonderful they are with the dogs its well worth it. I wouldnt take our dogs anywhere else!

For the last 25+ years, Colleyville Animal Clinic has been the go to clinic for all of our pets. Their expertise, the staff and Dr. Wilson and Dr. Blick are excellent. They showed their worth, at the end of last year, when they saved the life of our Standard Poodle "Alfie" when they recognized he had Bloat within seconds of seeing him. They immediately directed him to the Veterinary Surgery Center for emergency surgery. He came through the surgery just fine and is back to his norm and so are his parents. We dodged a bullet because of Colleyville Animal Clinic. As the sign says, "if it works, dont fix it". This is definitely the case with Colleyville Animal Clinic.

I have used Colleyville Animal Clinic for over 2 years. I started taking my Golden Retriever puppy Abby to the clinic when I first got here. Before she was a year old she began to have seizures. The doctors at Colleyville were able to find a medication to ward off the seizures. The medicine worked fine for several months and then she had more. They did tests on Abby and added another medication to the first one and she had been seizure free since then. Abby is now over 12 years old. The doctors and staff have been wonderful. I have taken several other dogs to them and so had my daughter. We highly recommend Colleyville Animal Clinic. Wonderful doctors and staff!

Called to ask a question and possibly bring my puppy in. They told me to call another clinic and refused to answer a simple question over the phone. I would have brought my puppy there because of their high ratings but if you cant answer a puppy question over the phone, Ill go somewhere with better customer service. Called the very next vet and the lady who answered the phone listened to me and gave me a valid answer. I scheduled my check up through the second place I called. Its obvious that when we are in a crisis and all you care about is my information and if Ive been there before, youre not in it for the animals youre in it for the money.
