Chris keeps posting meaningless responses, but Gentle Dental has not resolved this issue. Calling their local office will not get you anywhere. The manager Traci is the worst manager I have ever dealt with. She has no intention of taking care of the customer. They still have not resolved this. I opened a case with their corporate office. case number 6188 opened with corporate office on 11/14/2016 as local office management and personnel shrug this off. I mentioned it again when they tried to sneak in fluoride treatment during my cleaning on 11/14/2016. I tell them every time do not add anything that is not covered by insurance period. Strongly recommend if your looking for a dental office avoid this place like the plague unless you want to be slammed with additional charges for dental procedures that are not really necessary. I am waiting for my sons orthodontics to be completed and we will be finding a different dentist. Dr Junker is a great dentist. The issue here is with the office manager and their staff bill slamming. My wife brought my son in for a checkup. They hand a paper to her to sign for services. It had fillings and they added sealants on at $44 a piece. My wife scheduled an appointment and told them for the fillings only and they went ahead and did the sealants and surprised me with a $305 bill after they finished; $132 more than what was expected. They have done this before in the past multiple times on myself and my other family members. Insurance doesnt cover sealants. I spoke with a previous office manager Matthew and informed him I didnt want to have any work done not covered by insurance. This occurs multiple times with these people and this is the reason I left my previous dental office. I have contacted their corporate office and working with someone who has better communication skills than their local office manager and staff. WATCH YOUR PAPERWORK, THIS COMPANY LIKES TO SLAM UNNECESSARY CHARGES ON THE BILL.

I have been going to this location for a few years and today was the worst experience I have ever had at any medical office in my lifetime. In the past I have been slightly upset that I never saw the same doctor or hygienist twice. This latest visit was much worse. When I called to make the appointment I told them I needed to schedule a cleaning and a check up. When I arrived I was informed they could not do a checkup because there was not a doctor in the office today. I still do not know the names of anyone in the office as none of them cared enough to introduce themselves. I think my hygienists name was Sedol, because that is what is written on some elses card I found in the bag with a toothbrush and dental floss that they handed me on my way out. The original name was scratched off of the card. The hygienist was very cold and talked down to me stating that my teeth were in good shape for someone who only flosses once or twice a week. I was also shamed for not coming in for more than a year. The entire time I felt unwelcome and as if I was an inconvenience to them. I will not be returning.

Beware of Dentist that do simple procedures without any consideration of potential consequences for their patients. Went in for a filling and left with severe TMD or lock jaw due to the Dentist hitting a nerve because of his reckless abandon. Then proceeded with 2 follow ups with the Dr. without any proper treatment or direction on how to treat the TMD. Two weeks later I could only open my mouth less than 1/2 inch, which allowed for eating of soups only. My jaw and left side of my head was completely swollen leading me to seek another opinion following 3 weeks of agony. Upon inspection the new Dentist said it was the worst case of TMD she had seen in her 30 years of practice and that I would require an MRI to make sure there was no nerve damage leading to my brain. So needless to say patient beware not all Dental practices are created equal.

My dental insurance offered the best coverage if I used Gentle Dental. I had x rays taken in my first appointment and at check out the scheduler made 3 different future appointments for me to take care of all the work I needed done in my mouth. In addition to the cleaning. All that before I even met the dentist. I got a wonderful fantastic new job with better insurance and went to a regular dentist. The new dentist gave me prescription toothpaste and sent me on my way. If I had listened to Gentle Dental Id be out who knows how many hundreds of dollars.

The Dentists and assistants are very nice but the billing department cant ever get it right!! Their bills dont show an explanation of service and they expect you just to pay the bill. I have been going round and round with them for months now on an item they cant tell me what its for but expect me to pay it. They have also recommended and performed services before checking with my insurance to find out that I was not covered for these procedures. Now Im expected to foot the bill. I will be finding a new dentist office that has their stuff together.

I had an issue where I needed emergency dental help, and after calling about a dozen other places who couldnt fit me in for at least a week, the people at Gentle Dental went out of there way to call around to make sure I could get seen that day at one of their locations. I am very grateful to them for their thoughtfulness and quick response because I was in a lot of pain. They also have great prices and financing options which I appreciate because I currently do not have insurance. Would definitely recommend!

My family have all had great experiences at this office. The staff have been friendly, professional and through in the care given. No time wasted waiting. Always called within a few minutes of arriving for appointment. Quite surprised by the negative reviews based on my families observations and experiences. Very glad to have found this office when insurance changed.

Dr. Grant is the best dentist in the Pacific Northwest. She is very genuine and listens to my concerns. She is very careful to take care of my dental needs with least amount of pain. I actually look forward to my visits with Dr. Grant. Thank you Dr. Grant for being a wonderful dentist and person!

Horrible customer service. Me and my entire family have been going here since I was just a kid and none of us will ever be patients here again. They are so rude and not helpful at all. The women on the phone told is it wasnt here job to look out for us... wow

Physically, a very nice people friendly atmosphere. The employees treated me, and other clients that were there at the same time, with professional attitudes, kindness and friendly humor. I will be a steady client in the future.
