Dr Tad Shirley had been my childrens pediatrician for 3 years. Now he requested records when I first moved from the other dr. Today they are telling me they have been treating my children with some serious medication based on my say so and no records. He refuses to write a letter about my sons anaphylaxis to the MMR and is demanding that even though it may kill him he needs to have the immunization. Can you say Im reporting him to the board. Yep, they have treated my children for three years without knowing the underlying health problems which are extensive including seizures, asthma, cardiac, and anaphylaxis. Tad Shirley even wrote an epi pen for my son but claims my son has no allergies. He has wrote for anti-anxieties for my son without having his past medical history. The truth is tad Shirleys office requested those records almost 3 years ago, have the records but are afraid to write stating that my son cannot take another MMR because the last one almost killed him. So he would rather risk killing my son by giving him another. I am very pro immunizations. I dont believe in skipping them. With that being said I also will not let my child take a vaccine knowing that it may kill him and hoping that Benadryl and Epinephrine will work to keep him alive after he goes into anaphylaxis and he will.

Dr. Shirley is a wonderful Dr. I initially had my Son at Willowbrook Methodist and any appointments needed due to emergencies were always didmissed. Ever since I first set up my Sons first appointment, Family First Pediatrics, especially Dr. Shirley have always been quick to respond to our medical needs. I was so impressed with their service that I switched to them as my Sons PCP. I was pregnant with my Daughter and knew I wanted Dr. Shirley to be her Dr as well. Dr Shirley once he found out shed been born, made the trip to the hospital the day she was born to check on her and do her physical! He couldve had me visit them at their office, on the 3rd or 4th day after Her birth, like all other pediatricians, but again, instead, he came to us. That to me shows dedication and love for the work you do. Im very glad to have met them and have even had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Reed, great Dr. as well.

This is an amazing office! Dr. Tad Shirley is excellent. Always takes time to listen. Same day appointments nearly always available. We absolutely LOVED the fact that this office does not have an answering service. Each of the doctors take the on call cell phone with them. If you call after hours, you leave a message. Within 10 min one of the doctors calls you back. No middle man. (Now I am sure there have been ridiculous after hours calls that may not have received the same call back and I would hope patients would not abuse this. But we always received a call back very quickly.)

Dr. Reed is an amazing pediatrician. I do not have a single complaint about her. Shes a very compassionate, helpful, and knowledgeable doctor. She personally returns messages and helped me with samples of my daughters expensive formula. Unfortunately, multiple members of her staff are extremely rude in office and over the phone that I have decided to see another pediatrician. I will miss having a great pediatrician for my child, but dealing with the rude staff is an unnecessary added stress for a first time mom with a child who has a condition that requires some extra care.

Dr. Reed has been caring for my son since he was 5 days old. He is now almost 5. I trust her absolutely. She cares and takes time to listen to parents concerns and does not make you feel like youre asking dumb questions. My son loves her he recently had a fall which resulted in getting dermabond on his forehead. When I told him Dr. Reeds instructions on caring for it he said he loved Dr. Reed and wanted her to be proud of him so he would do like she asked. Obviously when the child is that taken w the Dr you must see what a great Dr they are...

Our kids love Family First, they still hate shots but they very comfortable coming here. The staff is aways sweet and super helpful even when I can only call in an issue. The office is large, clean and very welcoming. The Well Room is a great idea and much appreciated. We have never had a long wait for our appointments which is convenient when I have an infant in my arms. If you are looking for a pediatrician, Dr Shirley was highly recommended to me and now highly recommended by me.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE the best Dr they had left now they have sub par Drs on staff the office is ran by a confrontational rude unproffessional large woman named Stacey who shouldnt be working at a place for children everyone else behind the desk is super short with you and rude we shouldve left when our Dr left will never go here again HORRIBLE!! Upon leaving they also sent me a letter of termination for my children to be seen there what a JOKE!

Today was my first time to this office! The wait time was unbelievably short! I arrived early to fill out my new patient paperwork and they called us back before I could even finish it. Compared to my old pediatrics office, it was super bright and inviting! The front desk staff, nurses and doctor were all super friendly! My daughter was terrified and they were all amazing with her!

Five stars for Dr. Shirley! Very knowledgeable, professional, and has great bedside manner. Zero stars for one of his assistants who is always in such a bad mood. I thoughts she was just having a bad day the first time but its been 9 months and every time we go there she looks and acts like she doesnt wanna be there. Going there today and I hope shes not working.

We are so very thankful and secure with our choice in this outstanding pediactric office. Staff and physicians are always welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. We trust our kids with them and their healthcare is always treated properly and efficiently. The lobby and other rooms are clean, neat and sanitary. Scheduling and call backs are excellent as well!

Weve been with Dr Reed since our oldest was born. 6 years later and 2 more kids and Dr Reed as taken care of them all. Shes wonderful and attentive. She listens to my concerns about the girls and then treats appropriately. Weve had to see Dr Shirley a couple of times when Dr Reed was off and he was wonderful as well. We love this practice!

We have been taking out daughter to Family First Pediatrics for the last 6 months since we moved into the area and have nothing but good things to say about them! The doctors and staff are amazing! So friendly and very accommodating! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Pediatritician!

Dr Reed was incredibly attentive and engaging. The nurse who gave my LO a shot was a gem, so quick he barely noticed. The office had perfect child friendly distractions. It was so nice to leave a Pediatric appointment happy and without stress!
