The good: Very little wait & the receptionist was very sweet & helpful. The bad: The NP that treated my niece tonight was rude, condescending & felt the need to speak to myself & my mother (a pediatric nurse for 25+ years) as if we had no idea of what we were talking about. When we came in, I told her what I thought was going on and why. I also let her know that the common course of treatment does not work since weve been through strep throat with her numerous times before & have had to bring her back to the Dr for a change of treatment when she hadnt gotten better. She immediately went on the defensive after that and it was downhill from there. She told me that she didnt see the puss pocket that I had seen at home but would check her anyways. After confirming that it was strep, she came bk in to let me know that she was going to take the course of treatment that I had told her not even 10 mins before doesnt work for her and started talking down to me as she explained why they actually treat strep throat (Not my first time to deal with strep. I know why strep is treated. Just in the number of times that Ive had it, I probably know just as much about it as the NP does). I was fuming after that just because of how she was speaking to me & her refusal to even consider an antibiotic other than amoxicillin. I called my mother at that point thinking that maybe one medical professional speaking to another might help her understand why this course of treatment wasnt going to work and she proceeded to speak to her the same way she had just spoke to me. So now were stuck with a course of medical treatment that isnt going to work for my niece until she goes home this weekend and her mother can take her to her pcp. Way to look out for the patient! Tonight was our first visit there and I was so excited to find a pediatric urgent care close to my home but after tonight, I will NOT be returning. When a Dr or NP cant listen to all the concerns regarding the patient & the course of treatment, its just not a good practice.

Infant child rolled off the sofa and hit her head on the floor. As a precaution I called NightLight to see if they were able to see her or if i should take her to an ER. They told me they can check her out and to bring her in. I paid $75 to have a doctor or nurse practitioner look in her ears, feel her head and check her eyes only to tell me I should take her to the ER because "shes not really sure if she can say the baby is okay without an MRI or scan of her head and they dont do that in their office" She didnt ask how high the sofa was or what type of surface she fell on to either. It was as if she went through the motions of a "checkup" just so she could bill the file for her services and get insurance and myself to pay. When I got to the ER, the staff and nurses told me I should contact NightLight and voice my displeasure about the experience as well as send a letter regarding what happened. I have told my experience to a few of my friends with kids as well. ER doctor said the baby was fine and a MRI was not necessary and hes not sure why I was told she should have her head scanned because its not recommended to do that to babies so young if its not necessary and he could tell just by checking her that it wouldnt be necessary. The sofa wasnt high enough to be a concern to him and because her head, eyes and ears checked out to be fine, i just needed to watch her for any abnormal changes or behaviors but she looked good otherwise. NightLight was a complete waste of my time and money and i wish they wouldnt have wasted my time.

Had to take my two year old nephew here for a rash and asthma, for them not to be busy we sure did wait a long time in the waiting room. The nurse called us back into a room that was the size of a closet, Im guessing what they call their vitals room, she was highly rude, no eye contact unless she was being rude to my sister, when my sister was trying to answer her question she would cut my sister off stating thats not what she asked, she never once said anything to my nephew to assure him that nothing will hurt or what she was doing to him. Once in the exam room that was like a sweat box we waited for like 30mins, once again they were not busy. The Nurse Practioner that came in was cold at first but warmed up shortly and was the only good thing about our experience. These people have no compassion and seem to not even enjoy their job, will never be back to this place, would have rathered waited in the ER for hours than deal with this place.

Definitely do not recommend this place. My husband and I took our almost 3 year old there over the weekend. Nurse practitioner took a look at his ears (didnt catch the ear infection) and rash and asked a couple of questions then told us to go to Texas Children Emergency in Katy. So $150 for us to be told to go to an Emergency room. When we get to the emergence and pay $450 there (plus the bill we have to wait to get in the mail) the Dr comes in the room takes one look at my almost 3 year old and was about to go check his ears to tell us that our baby had and ear infection along with scarlet fever. Dr. tried to make an excuse about the urgent care that told us to go to the Emergency and after we said it was a pediatric place this dr was shocked that we even went to the emergency and said this should and could have been caught at the pediatric urgent care. So the $150 that was spent was for 3ml of benedryl that we could have done at home.

Horrible, horrible, horrible!! No compassion for the children’s feelings. They were forceful when performing procedures on my children. An individual by the name of Lupe checked my 5 week old newborns temperature rectally. Lupe did not add lubricant to the thermometer and when she inserted it into my baby’s bottom my poor child started screaming! I have a degree in business so I don’t know anything about the medical field, but as far as I’m concerned a procedure like that should be uncomfortable, not painful. That’s to name one of the many torture like events performed on my three daughters. There are so many more things that occurred, but there is too many to list. I feel that almost drowned my baby also. They made my older daughter hit her head when they violently preformed a step throat test on her. My daughter had a sore throat and fever, but they said nothing was wrong with her. I will never go here again!

Experience at Night Light Pediatric 1. Facility was filled with cleaning solution smell 2. Inexperience practitioner nurse from 3rd world countries diagnosed the symptom (not the doctor) lead to unnecessarily procedures which ended up cost patients more (maybe this is the way they’re conducting business to make more profit.) 3. Kathy and Amanda the Operational Managers at this location were unreachable for questions relate to the charges (dispute charge) No, no, no……….. I absolutely NOT recommend this place to anyone. Hospital ER will be much better and safer your kids need because they have better doctors and more well trained staffs. I was curious about how this place had 4 stars and look through the review and found out that there are so many 5 stars review without a word in the comment sections. Self-posts????? Self-reviews???? lol
