Avoid this place!!!! I was referred to Dr. Villa because my 8 week old baby had extreme GERD. There is a reason you are able to get into his office so quickly! I got my baby an appointment and went to see him. He had great bedside manners but his office staff is absolutely terrible. His only nurse is EXTREMELY RUDE! I had to get two outside xrays done of my sons chest for this doctor at the hospitals, with promises of a 24 hour call back from my doctor (Dr. Villa), after the first one, I called and it had already been over 24 hours, to which the office staff said "oops! Its sitting on the fax, Ill put it on his desk to review and call you back". HELLO! THIS WAS TOO LOOK AT MY INFANTS ANATOMY BC HE CANT KEEP DOWN HIS NUTRTION! After calling everyday, and being told by his office staff "I promise he or a nurse will call you back by the end of the day" and receiving NO CALL back... I finally got a call back after 4 days! Then, Dr. Villa ordered a different one for him and it took 6 DAYS for me to get a call back! Well - Day 6 they were just calling me to make sure I was keeping my appointment so they could get that specialty fee! I asked why they havent called back about the report, its been 6 days... his nurse got on the phone and was so rude and interrupting me and said that she would just send it to my PCP to go over it with me! What kind of service is that?! I STILL GOT NO ANSWERS ABOUT MY INFANT SONS STATUS. Since his nurse was EXTREMELY out of line, I told her to go ahead and cancel my appointment! I drive all the way out to Cypress.... to be treated like this! They dont care about their patients, they hate their job. STAY AWAY!!! To follow-up, Dr. Villa prescribed my son two medications with 3 refills. The pharmacy required Dr. Villas office to call and verify one of them each time it was refilled (because of insurance). THEY WONT REFILL HIS PRESCRIPTION THAT DR. VILLA ALREADY PRESCRIBED HIM BECAUSE I CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT! I told the office staff that he is an INFANT with extreme GERD and he needs it! Even if I made an appointment with you guys, I couldnt go today! And they refused. I knew when I looked at his reviews prior, that he had poor office staff... but I didnt realized that it would impact my 3 month old baby so much.

Our family doctor highly recommended Dr. Villa. My sons liver was nearly destroyed by 2 liver diseases. Dr. Villa spends 45 minutes with my son, even when my son came every week for months. He explains everything.Dr. Villa cares for deathly ill children. He is either at the office or the hospital. Even the flooding did not stop him from getting to those kids. His waiting list is long because he is a specialist, recommended by transplant surgeons. See your family doctor if your kiddo has an upset stomach or constipation. Go to Dr. Villa if your child is beyond their help. Sometimes we have to wait, sometimes his schedule is packed. His receptionist is fitting the most critical patients into his schedule, but she is always considerate. His nurse is very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Villa.

Do not waste your time here. All they want is your payment. Dr is OK, not very soothing or patient with my little one, very dry and has literally said the same thing to me at every visit for over 2 years now with no end or resolution in sight. Not to mention they require you give them a CC number and say they will not charge without consulting, but low and behold my card was charged with no notice. I feel like he just wants to keep me as a patient without a care about my child and her well being. I came here because I was able to get an immediate appointment, now I know why. So mad I wasted 2 years here. Go elsewhere.

Be careful with this place. They charged me $50 for a NO SHOW. I told them, I didn´t schedule that appointment and called letting them know it was a mistake. The person on the phone told me she was going to take that charge from my account and the next month I got the bill again. I called a second time and the person on the phone was not even listening to me. She kept saying, our records say...

the truth

I wrote good review about this doctor a month ago. But I have had terrible experience since then staff Stephanie, venissa and Claudia the office manager. No one gets back to you with any answers to your questions. They might get back saying you can come in to the office for 2 simple questions. Do not recommend this place for anyone.

I had the best experience today. Doctor is amazing he is so helpful , answered all my questions. There was a bit of wait but it was worth it. Looking forward to finding my sons pain after all the tests he asked for. Thank you.
