I HATED it there. I had Doctor Crowe and I feel like she never knew what she was talking about on multiple occasions and giving wrong diagnoses. She was nice but didnt know her stuff. My final breaking point was when she stuck her bare fingers in my sons mouth for a third time WITHOUT gloves after treating sick children all day and four days later my son came down with a high fever. I took him to the ER and he had developed hand, foot, and mouth disease. The doc said it would have matched the incubation period if he would have gotten it at his physical with Dr. Crowe. He doesnt go to daycare and hadnt been to any other public places. How can a doctor be dumb enough not to put gloves on before feeling around in a childs mouth?! He was terribly sick for days and ended up having to go in for IVS and was prescribed heavy pain killers. They said they hadnt seen a case so bad. Poor guy drooled like a facet out of his mouth and it turns out it was because it was too painful for him to swallow his own saliva because of the ulcers! Finally, 7 days later he was finally better and then I contracted the disease. All of that hell we went through because their office doesnt practice proper hygiene. I switched pediatricians immediately and I was told that they get a lot of complaints about the association of pediatricians. NOT a good place to go. Save your time and your child from getting sick!

Our son has been seeing Dr. Nelson due to the high reviews personal friends/family have given of her. And I completely second their great experiences with her, she is one of the best pediatricians I have ever been around. She loves kids, takes the time to explain things to the parents, and genuinely seems happy to be around her patients. However... her nursing staff is absolutely horrendous. My son has been sick for three weeks and not only have they been completely rude, unwelcoming, and condescending every single time Ive called, theyve literally refused to see him unless his symptoms worsen and they recommend we take him to the E.R. It got to a point that after two weeks of them doing this, I finally just took him to my own primary care physician, she did x-rays and lab culture on him, found out my 9 month old son (who they refused to take symptoms seriously for the last three weeks) has been battling bronchitis, and a respiratory virus infection. My PCP gave him some antibiotics, which immediately brought his fever and symptoms under control. Im so angry at them I cant even see straight. Im definitely moving pediatricians. I love Dr. Nelson, but not enough to endanger the life of my own son due to the incompetency of her front office/nursing staff. They absolutely disgust me with their treatment of me and my child.

My children started seeing Dr. Pridget when we first moved to Topeka. I think she is wonderful. However we started having some issues with billing and the way they were filing my claims for insurance. Two of my children they were filing it correctly and one of them they were not. Then they gave me a bill over $200 for a well child check up. Said my insurance did not cover any of it. So I called my insurance and they said they did not receive a claim for that child. So I went back to the office, told the lady what my insurance said and she started yelling at me and said she was tired of dealing with people not wanting to pay their bills. I calmly said I have and will pay my bill as soon as you file the claim and have my insurance take care of their part. She told me I was lying. She did not have time to talk to my insurance company. Basically refused to help me out at all, even though it was their fault. It took over 3 months to resolve this matter. And I was right. I did not have to pay. Even though this matter was fixed I will not be taking my kids there anymore. The billing staff and front desk are NOT professionals. And treated me like a criminal even though it was their fault.

I had premature twins born at 25 weeks. Dr. Nelson and her nurses have been absolutely amazing through all of the challenges we have faced, extremely supportive and very knowledgeable. I cant imagine having anyone else from the start! Weve moved now and still havent found anyone as personable and wonderful as she is! I love that no matter why they always found someone to get our kids into when we had challenges. If I could give 10 stars I would! I love their open hours for sick clinics on weekends as well!!

My boys love Dr.Vansickle! He always has time for us he so friendly and great at calming my anxious child down. He seems to know us as soon as he sees us. I have to take my youngest in a lot for his asthma and Dr.Vansickle shows such concern always wants me to let him know how hes doing throughout the day. Definately recommend. Receptionists on the other hand arent very pleasant. One of them act pretty stuck up like were bothering her checking in. Please improve that and ya get 5 stars from me

The nurse practitioners and Dr Cooley and his personal nursing staff are absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable. However when it comes to his receptionists they are the rudest people I have ever had to deal with and it doesnt matter what time of day you call. They are always pretty rude. Even when you check in for an appointment sometimes they can be pretty short and snippy. I will never know why I just hope this improves.

My son loves Dr. VanSickle and I love that he always has time for us, he listens to our questions and concerns and addresses them thoroughly, and I always leave the ofice feeling confidant that we had the best care.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Crowe since she was born. She was born with a birth injury called Brachial Plexus/Erbs Palsy. Dr. Crowe has always been very pleasant and can get Malulani to relax.

Dr. Nichols was my physician as a child, so naturally, there is nobody else that I would trust with the care of my child! I absolutely love him, as well as his nurses.
