Let me first say that i have been treated by two different chiros in the past with good results. Those two gentlemen are retired now and that is how i wound up at New Leaf. My first visit i was shown the office and then sold an thermal imaging chart of my back. The assistant could not adequately explain what the colors meant. I then met Dr Rosado who explained that i would need xrays which sounded reasonable so i agreed to be xrayed. I was then told my insurance did not cover this so my out of pocket was $120. I paid it thinking i would now be adjusted to find out that i would need to followup. I showed up for the followup which was another assistant claiming that chiro had helped his asthma when doctors "could not find out what was wrong with his lungs". Being a lifelong asthmatic i knew this was not true. After that Dr Rosado offered up this ridiculous analogy of how someone would care for a cut finger with neosporin and bandages and how that would not work on a steak. The Dr made even more ridiculous claims of how childbirth can cause a 5% deficiency and went on to detail how that can get worse over time. After that me and the Dr go over my xrays, he points out different stress points which i thought was reasonable. He then presents me with a care plan of 58 office visits costing thousands of dollars of which i say to him i really would like to just get adjusted today to see how i feel before committing to the care plan. The Dr was also clearly miffed at the fact that my insurance has guidelines in place for unnecessary care as they cap the visits at 5 at which time a doctors note from a primary is necessary. After all this conversation the Dr then walks me to the front desk where the same assistant who could not explain the chart is waiting for me with pen in hand for me to sign an authorization document for my credit card to pay for the care plan. At this point i walked out, two office visits and nearly four hours later i still did not recive an adjustment that i was led to believe was part of what i paid for. I googled Life University where Dr Rosado recieved his education and they have a dubious past including losing their accreditation in 2002 for improprieties. Life later sued and got their credentials back.. I also came across an article written by Allen J. Botnick titled "Why i quit chiropractic" that paints in glaring detail the improprieties that went on at Life University as he is an alumnus. Dr Botnick talks about how he was indoctrinated and how the courses systematically taught the students how generate more income for the office with unnecessary tests and lifetime maintenece plans even for young children.. In closing i say again that i believe that chiropratic care can be very helpful, but i believe i ran into an office that is more concerned with lining their pockets than truly helping the public. UPDATE... Dr Rosado your reply is laughable, how could i have been looking for FREE adjustments when i paid for everything i recieved including paying ANOTHER $10 for my xrays to take to another doctor? I NEVER came in asking you to do anything for free YOU and YOUR staff misrepresented that the first adjustment was part of the care plan.. I simply asked you to do the adjustment going by the info i was given that xrays, followup, and first adjustment was part of what i paid for.. Anyone with common sense can read this post and see that at the very least there is something wrong with your reply.. Who sits in an office fills out reams of paperwork, gives u their insurance info, PAYS $120, comes back for a followup if they are looking for something for FREE??? It didnt work out and thats fine but please be honest.. You have a good day and God bless to you as well.

THE WORST!!! My son was in pain, so my husband took him for a adjustment, the guy in the office was only showing off the equipment and explaining how good they are, they did a very quick evaluation and they charged $40 for it, the evaluation was good for "NOTHING", because they want to charge another $120 for the RX, just to let him know why it was hurting but that did not include the adjustment, if he wants the adjustment was another extra charge. My son left with $40 dollars less and the same pain in his neck. "DONT GO TO THAT PLACE EVER" They gong to take your money only!!! It is a rip-off!!!!!--- LO PEOR DE LO PEOR , mi hijo tenia mucho dolor en el cuello y mi esposo lo llevo para un ajuste, el empleado paso presumiendo el equipo y de lo buenos que eran, le hicieron una evaluacion que no sirvio para nada, por que despues le querian hacer rayos X por otros $120 extra, solo para dejarle saber que tenia pero si queria el ajuste tenia que pagar otra plata extra. Al final mi hijo salio con $40 dollars menos y con el mismo dolor de cuello "NO VALLAN A ESE LUGAR NUNCA" LES QUITAN EL DINERO SOLO CON EL BLA-BLA -BLA" "ES UN ROBO"

My name is Tito, and I am a creative based in Miami, FL. I lift heavy camera equipment and accessories on a daily basis, which unfortunately, has taken a significant toll on my back. The office space, the warm welcome, and especially all the inspirational quotes and imagery made me feel comfortable and maybe even a bit excited about my visit. Since that day, it’s been nothing less than exemplary service from everyone at the practice. I have been receiving treatment for the past 4 months and I have seen significant improvement in my posture as well as having little to no pain in my back. Dr. Sherry & Dr. Richard are not only doctors, but educators, and Im proud to call them my friends. I highly recommend New Leaf Chiropractic and suggest everyone visit them for all of your chiropractic needs.

I have never felt better!! Dr. Sherry & Richard Rosado made me feel at home, I have never seen doctors go above and beyond for the better health of their patients.It is a blessing from God to have such amazing doctors treating me for my chronic neck pain (which has decreased significantly since I started care). I felt at home when I went to their office, and I have been a chiropractic patient for many years now, and throughout my experience I have been to offices where I didnt feel like a patient that really mattered. At New Leaf that is not the case! Patients truly matter. If you are looking for doctors that really care and want to help heal you naturally, than this is the place for you!
