You can read all the 5-star "damage-control" reviews or you can read the TRUTH. I received good dental care. The dentist was great and the hygienists were very professional and helpful. However, the office staff ended up costing me a lot of money by telling me that a procedure I was having was covered by insurance. However, this person did not follow the proper procedure for receiving pre-approval from my insurance company. After submitting the bill, insurance denied the claim. This would have been prevented if a pre-approval was requested (standard procedure) and I could have made an informed decision about my treatment options & the associated costs. Unfortunately, this sloppy work is costing me $900 out of pocket. The office staff then told me that the dentist would not submit justification for treatment with the insurance company to support an appeal (and I quote) "because we dont do that here." I sent a certified letter to the office manager and/or owner detailing how all of this unfolded and requested they submit justification for an appeal. I let them know how incredibly unhappy I was that this all transpired as it was costing me precious dollars. I included my name, phone number, mailing address, etc. I received no phone call, no letter in the mail, nothing... except a new bill for $900. Apparently the doctor did submit a justification (of which I never saw a copy or any communication whatsoever from the dentists office). They apparently werent concerned with an extremely unhappy patient. They werent interested in trying to smooth things over. All prior dealings up until this billing incident had been pleasant... but they would rather wash their hands of an otherwise happy patient over a billing matter apparently. My intent was not to trash this office. In fact, I was holding off on even writing a review to give them an opportunity to make it right. But it was handled so wrong at every single step throughout the process that I felt a responsibility to let others know so they can protect themselves. If they had at least communicated with me and said "well try and see if we can work things out with your insurance company" then this review would not be online. Be forewarned. Ask them if they have submitted a formal pre-approval before you agree to any work or it may cost you big bucks and then they will cast you aside. Updated 7-Dec-2015: NOW THAT THERE IS A NEGATIVE REVIEW, SUDDENLY THEY ARE RESPONDING TO ME ON GOOGLE REVIEWS. CRICKETS BEFORE THIS. CRICKETS. For the record, the staff asked my insurance company "how much do you pay for these procedures?" The insurance company told them the amount that would be paid IF the procedure was covered. The insurance company never formally pre-approved the procedure so it is NOT a "downgrade" like the dentists office claims it is. I agree that the dentist provided the service and they should be paid for the work performed AND I am paying that debt. What I take issue with is the fact that I was not afforded the opportunity to make an informed decision regarding those costs BEFORE the work was performed and that the dentists office refused to speak with me about it after receiving my letter. There was several MONTHS of no response until they sent me a brand new bill for $900. No communication from them to me. Sometimes, as a business you have to ask yourself "Could we have handled this differently to avoid this negative feedback?" In this case the answer is "yes." I didnt even WANT to write this negative review so I waited to see how they would handle it - and it was handled very poorly and it continues. Continual denial of causing this unexpected cost to your patient and passing the blame on the insurance company by calling it a "downgrade" when they cant downgrade a charge that was never pre-approved in the first place is the reason for my dissatisfaction. Also for the record, I have never deleted this review and re-added it to keep it at the top of the list. I have added additional details to the review, however.

Very satisfied patient. I walked in, had no insurance, they treated me like family, had my procedure done in less than six weeks and have never felt so confident about being able to smile again. I feel like a new person. Prices were reasonable considering what I had to have done. The staff made me feel very comfortable and it was a very friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Dr. Buechele and his staff. Great job! Thank you very very much :-) I have never laughed and cried at the same time in a dentists chair. Laughed from cracking up with him and his assistants and cried tears of joy at my new look. Thank you again for giving me back my beautiful smile!!!!

Very smooth from the time I walked through the door to the time I was finished with my appointment. Everyone was extremely professional and explained everything. I filled out my New Patient paperwork before my appointment and brought it in with me. Upon arrival, I was given a very nice thank you for filling out your paperwork ahead of time! My wait to be seen was very minimal. The office was clean and everyone that I came in contact with seemed to be very happy to be there! Great overall experience.

I went to the dentist to have one cavity filled and one old cavity replaced with a new filling. The dentist explained to me that after further review of the cavity, that I did not have a cavity. I was happy to hear that news and appreciated his honesty. The other work he did on my mouth was painless and worry free. I found my new local dentist and am very happy with their honest service they provided me. The rest of the staff are also very nice and pleasant to be around. Thank you

Dr. Buechele was recommended to us as an excellent dentist to go to for my husbands dentures. Could not have been more right in sending us to him. He was very professional yet a very personable dentist. He has addressed all of our concerns and has successfully put all my husbands worries at ease. His staff, as well, are a pleasure to deal with, always smiling. We certainly would not hesitate recommending Dr. Buechele to any one...he is wonderful.

Where do I begin...Dr. Buechele and staff are amazing and extremely trustworthy! I live in the Orlando area and figure that the drive to Clermont once or twice a year is well worth knowing that my dental needs are being taken care of and that Im not being told that I need unnecessary dental work (like I have in the past). If you are looking for a dental office with a fantastic dentist, look no further! :)

I am no stranger to the dental chair but I have never had a more thorough and enjoyable exam and dental work before. Dr. Buechele and his staff were incredibly friendly and they all did a great job at making me feel comfortable and educated on what they were doing to fix my problem tooth. I also had a painless cleaning and left feeling so happy that I no longer will ever have to dread going to the dentist!
