Christina the front desk girl was helping another customer when I walked into the EMPTY waiting room I stood behind the person in front of me for 5 minutes. There are 5 other receptionists just talking/ laughing..nobody asked me if I needed help, no one told me to sign in, no one said Hello. I decided to sit down. (My previous appointment was canceled although I confirmed it through their automated text system. They cancelled it same day, an hour b4 my appt time, giving me no time for arrangements. They also told me they couldnt get me in until September FOUR MONTHS LATER. I complained so they got me in today.) I continued waiting ....no one else was in the waiting room 20 min later I stepped up to the front desk stating Ive been here.. Im here. NO ONE WAS IN THE WAITING ROOM no one asked me my name and they were not even busy and they had plenty of people that could have been courteous to me however they all chose to ignore me and not be working. I figured they would easily be able to figure out the person waiting in the waiting room was the appointment on their computer system especially since no one was even there. due to the lack of professionalism no one could figure that out. They cancelled my appointment because I didnt sign in..LOL..mind you there are 5 front desk people with nothing better to do 5 feet from me. The office manager Casey came out she tried to reschedule me for next Tuesday while one of the girls behind the office manager was smiling trying not to laugh and staring directly at me w her ugly dog eyes. Christina, the original front desk person was no longer there because she had to run and go get her mommy, Casey the office manager, while she hid in the back room. Mind you my first experience at this dental office I was handed more paperwork then if I were to have bought a home and charged 2 times more than what I was promised through their website. Do not trust this establishment they are unattentive, unprofessional, unorganized, and not considerate of Your time or needs whatsoever.

The last time I was scheduled for a cleaning (7 months ago), I arrived and was informed my appointment had to be cancelled. They said they tried to call me, which turned out to be true, but while I was en route to the appointment. When I went in for the rescheduled appointment, the hygienist brushed a waxy substance on my teeth which she related will help prevent sensitivity. When checking out, they tried to charge me additional fees for it which I contested. The hygienist then attempted to say I agreed to the treatment. I reminded her that she told me what it was but didnt ask if I wanted it. They said they would delete it from the bill and I did not pay, however the next claim statement from the insurance company reflected they attempted to claim it but it was denied there as well. Fast foreword. I was scheduled for a cleaning on 7/14/17. On 7/13/17 I was contacted by the office and informed that my appointment had to be rescheduled because the hygienist was out. It was rescheduled to 7/18/17. On 7/17/17 I was contacted again and again informed of the necessity to reschedule for the same reason. This time I was informed that the next available appointment wasnt until October. I declined to make an appointment at that time. I went on their website today to look if I could submit a review. Surprise, thats not an option, however, they advertise "same day appointments available" and have a live chat window. This entire scenario was explained with the customer service rep thru the chat window. They offered to search for appointments and found one in September which I accepted, but will cancel immediately prior to the appointment time as I will be going elsewhere. If I could give them zero stars I would, but thats not an option here. I guess the one star can be given for the free Keureg coffee they have in the waiting room.

I went to this place new to Florida. It was very nice and clean. Dont let that fool you, they will just make you pay out of pocket every chance they get. My mother and I both went there. I needed a crown and she needed a routine cleaning. I went back yesterday for my new patient evaluation. They told me I had gingivitis and made an appointment to come back within two hours. I arrive back and they call me back and I asked the difference in cleaning because they couldnt bill NEITHER of my insurance for the cleaning. The woman said there would be an antibiotic and mouthwash. So I agree and she did a normal routine cleaning on my teeth and handed me some mouthwash. I was told my mouth wasnt bad enough for the antibiotics. So essentially I paid out of pocket for a cleaning instead of them billing my insurance because once you get in there they will not give you a normal cleaning that they bill the insurance. She literally did everything in a routine cleaning. My mother and I discussed the procedure and it was the same. She didnt have the so called gingivitis like I did...which I didnt have either. Needless to say Im very disappointed because I have a lot of dental work in the future I was going to have done but now I will be searching for a different dentist. They only want your money.. I pay for 2 separate dental insurances so there was no reason whatsoever for me to have to pay out of pocket $135 for a normal cleaning and some flouride. Update: I had a crown put on in October and it fell out today so I brought it to the office and they cant even put the crown back in... $900 crown in a ziploc bag.. WORST DENTIST OFFICE EVER!

What do you dislike about Towncare Dental Associates of Cape Coral? Share a tip. What a horror. Town Care Dental is the worst dental office Ive ever been to! A real rip-off cattle heard. I have no dental insurance but I had broken part of my molar the week before, so I picked up the papers from their office but did not get an appointment right away because they were “too busy”. When I walked in, the first thing I heard was drilling and someone in that room screaming in agony…not a good thing. Although I arrived a few minutes early with all my papers filled out, I had to wait more than 1 hour with nothing to do or read (unless you like ancient history) in the waiting room. They finally called me because I said I would reschedule but then they made me wait in the exam room for almost 20 minutes more after 1 x-ray was taken. When the dentist finally came in to see me, she spent all of 95 seconds looking in my mouth and telling me I needed a crown and build-up and quoted an outrageous price. I asked for a written estimate which her assistant gave me. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and asked for my x-ray which I paid $85 for with the “exam”. They refused to give it to me unless I paid an additional $20.00. I went to another dentist who was recommended by my MD and who gave me an appointment the next day. Dr Vardtal said I did not need a build-up or even a crown, just a porcelain fill & repair, but if I wanted a porcelain crown it would only be HALF the price of what this other place had quoted me! Stay away, theyll rip you off and your insurance company as well and they are unpleasant to boot! I wish I had read the reviews first.
