The initial work they did for me was fine and they did their best to work with my financial limitations. However, my dentist started treating me poorly after I started having anxiety and needed to pause in between final shaping and polishing. She said awful things to me as if I had flailed about or struck her (which was not at all the case), obviously having no understanding of anxiety, before I shut her down for being so rude. I almost decided then not to go back but decided it was simply a bad moment and to give it another shot. This time she did noticeably worse work and also apparently had badmouthed me horribly to her co-workers so that they all patronized and laughed openly to my face like Im a small child. Such treatment was not at all what I expected of a business charging thousands of dollars for their work. I never went back again and never will. All the teeth they worked on are now being pulled by a different dentist, but it will be a relief to not have the caps hanging over my gums. What an upsetting waste of money.

I loved going here. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist and hygeinist was so nice. Jennifer welcomed me and gave me a tour, showing me their new office equipment and expanded space, complete w a "surgical suite" for the in house surgeon. Dr Reid was very nice and mentioned how they enjoyed meeting my husband. They all talked like he was a good old friend. Then Sarah cleaned my teeth and did an awesome job. My teeth feel so nice. And it was a big job since I havent been in so long. When I was finished they gave me a hot towel to steam my face and hands, like it was the spa! And I was already feeling pampered, being away from the kids, just sitting in a recliner. Then Sarah gave me great advice on how to get my 3 almost 4 year old daughter comfortable w the office. And sent along a princess toothbrush , kids toothpaste, and additional floss in my goodie bag. Thanks "Light Dental!" Wanted to brag about you for being so great. But I selfishly hope you dont get too popular that its hard to get an appointment.

Every staff member is friendly and welcoming from the second you walk in. They all make you feel so comfortable and ease any anxiety you may be experiencing. The assistants and doctors are great at explaining everything they are doing during the exam and are open to any questions or concerns you might have. And even with dental insurance most of the time the patient will be responsible for payments, they really work with you and your financial situation to come up with affordable payment plans. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime! My daughter went there for her 1st appointment and she was very nervous about it, all of the staff were so friendly to her and let her pick out a prize at the end of her visit. I am actually looking forward to my upcoming appointments!

My son who is 6 years old had to have his first filling done. He was very nervous and Dr. Reid did such an amazing job at answering all his questions and explaining the steps in a kid friendly way. Even after an hour had passed, Dr. Reid and the assistant Maliah continued to help keep my sons nerves at ease. Dr. Reid even gave my son a tour of the facility. After the procedure, my son told me he was ready to get another filling! Having had some dental work done myself, i have always had a great experience. AllI the staff are very personable and friendly. I highly recommend them for both children and adults.

I have severe anxiety at dental appointments due to mistreatment by a dentist when I was young, as well as a couple of very bad experiences later on. The dentists and staff members have always been very understanding and gentle with me; and although going to the dentist is still not my favorite thing, I have been able to relax more, follow through with appointments, and get all my dental work up to date.

All the staff at light dental studio were fanastic. Sarah was a wonderful hygienist, and Doctor Reid was a great dentist both answered all my questions and Sarah even brought out the dental hygiene and theory textbook for me. Ive always been a bit anxious going to the dentist, but I feel like the staff at light dental studio make it their mission to put you at ease.

I just had my teeth cleaned at Light Dental Studios of University Place. Melissa did a fantastic job. She was done before I knew it. We chatted a lot and had a lot in common. Everyone is very kind and friendly as soon as you walk into the door. The office coordinators are very efficient and helpful by giving you an estimated cost sheet. The dental hygienist are very kind and willing to help in anyway they can, and the dentist are very personable and nice. Wont go to any other dentist!

Everyone is very friendly. They are great at remembering who you are and things you have discussed. The staff is very thorough in designing your individual treatment plan and explaing it to you ang giving you options. they listen to you and appreciate your input as well.
