If you are looking for a great dentist and a friendly staff this is the place! The office is very relaxed and Dr. Newkirk is simply one of the best dentists I have been to. I have been into the office three times now to have old fillings replaced. During each visit the Dr. and her staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. It is one of those rare places where not only are you treated extremely well, you feel like you made new friends after being their. Ultimately though Dr. Newkirks work spoke for itself. I honestly could not be happier and more satisfied with my new white smile! I have always been a bit apprehensive going to the dentist. That was not the case at this office. It was a relief to find a dentist that does such great work and makes you feel completely comfortable!

This is where you want to go for dental care! Dr. Newkirk herself put me at ease with her calm demeanor and friendly tone she instantly put me at ease. She took her time and made sure it was done right and that I was happy with the end result. The front desk woman was herself very friendly. She explained everything I would need to know and took care of me promptly. She even made fresh cookies! It is ridiculous what a contrast there is between my old dentist and this place. In the sea of sometimes lame dentists they really are an island by themselves.

I initially went to Island Dental for a teeth whitening promotion and liked the practice so much I switched my dentist to them. Dr. Possert is very warm and professional and has taken good care of my needs. Her team of assistants are great and the office is friendly and welcoming. It is a great location, for public transportation and ample free parking. I highly recommend Island Dental to anyone looking for a great dental practice!

Absolutely love every part of this dental office!!! They are so friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Add an edit to just how fantastic and caring they are..... My daughter chipped her tooth playing and the dentist stayed open later for an emergency visit. The day before Christmas Eve when you know everyone wants to get home for last bits of shopoing and family time.

Wonderful Staff. Wonderful Doctor. I was welcomed with open arms. Aubrie is the insurance/hiippa expert manning the front desk. She is so kind and so polite. You can tell she had good home training. Raised right. The Doctor was perfect. The hygienist did exellent! I have found a permanent dental home. Thank you all

Love, love, love this dental group! From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave the staff is friendly and professional. The dentist was amazing with my 11-year-old. She and the rest of the staff were very easy to talk to. A great experience for both of our visits. I highly recommend this group!
