Dr. Pelley and her team at Little Smiles are outstanding! The office is bright, vibrant and fun and the team is super friendly, comforting and knowledgeable. My toddler had an unfortunate run in with her toy piano that resulted in two knocked out teeth and a loosened third. After a long, upsetting evening in the ER, I began my search for a Pediatric Dentist. Dr. Pelley came highly recommended by my dentist. Dr. Pelley was great with my daughter...and with me. She examined her, cleaned up her split lip and gums, took pictures and an x-ray to investigate the extent of the damage. She was not only comforting to my daughter but to me as well. She was very thorough in her explanation of what to expect, answering all the questions swirling in my mind without me having to ask them. Must be her years as a pediatric ICU nurse or just that shes a fellow mom. Either way, I couldnt have been more appreciative. We went back for our follow up two weeks later and after following all of Dr. Pelleys treatment advice, my daughter is healing beautifully. She again answered all my questions about what to expect when her permanent teeth come in, etc and she answered them all in detail. Dr. Pelley has a very impressive academic and professional resume which is evident in the superior care that she provides to her patients. I look forward to the ongoing care my daughter will receive and am telling everyone I know about Little Smiles. Theyre amazing!

Edit: Dr Joanna no longer works there. We saw the new dentist and hes great. So is Dr Pelley. Great clinic now that Mrs Scare Tactics is gone ;-) We started seeing Dr Pelley because she takes a variety of insurance providers (thank you for that!). We loved going there. Then one day, we get an appointment with the other dentist, Dr Joanna. She starts saying that my son has pre cavities between each set of molars, that they are "borderline" and will need fillings if they progressed, and then pressures me to get the fluoride treatment - which we never got before. She was rude, forceful, and discussed all this in the waiting room where everyone could hear. She then goes to the next patient next to us and says the exact same thing. Now, most people arent fanatical about teeth. I am, though! Back home, I fire an email to Dr Pelley about Dr Joannas rudeness, and spend the next 6 months brushing, flossing, using iodine, fluoride, xylitol, essential oils, colloidal silver... you name it! At the next checkup... Dr Pelley looks at the X Rays and basically tells me everythings fine, that my son doesnt need x rays, and that Dr Joanna does that all the time. She also tells me to just book with her from now on. I recommend this clinic and Dr Pelley. But avoid Dr Joanna at all costs!!!

Dr. Pellys bedside manner is horrible. While she may be a good dentist and her staff are extremely nice and caring I, frankly, have no idea why she got into child dentistry. It seems that she would probably better with adults who listen rather than children who are not likely to listen to a strange person trying to look at their teeth. I noticed her poor treatment of my children from the first visit we went, however, I am a person and I know as people we can have off days. We went 2 subsequent times and each time was the same. She was rude to both my husband and I as well as our 2.5 year old son. I strongly suggest that you go elsewhere if you want a caring environment for your children to go. The only reason I gave this practice two stars instead of one is because the other staff in this office are wonderful! Very sweet, caring, and absolutely fabulous in an environment that serves children.

The staff at this place were AWESOME. My child loved the setup and organization - theyve gone out of their way to make it a beautiful place for kids to hang out. Dr. Pelley is nice, her bedside manner is a bit lacking, but that happens a lot with people who were in school for so many years. I loved the cleaning and the hygienists but once they found a cavity and tried to fix it with nitrous and that didnt work, they suggested anesthetizing my child. This is highly dangerous and I would suggest that any parent of a child under 12 avoid it. Studies show that dentists do not have a good resuscitation rate for children and its not something that NEEDS to be done for your child. There are a handful of dentists in this city who refuse to do it for good reason, so weve found one of them.

Ive been bringing both of my daughters (ages 2 and 4) to Little Smiles since their first appointments and have always been very happy with the care received--the staff are incredibly kid friendly (from the receptionists to the dental assistants to the dentist), the environment is welcoming, clean, comfortable, and very kid-oriented, and the staff is gentle and has age appropriate expectations for the kids. Today Rebekah was our dental assistant and she was just so wonderful!

We love Little Smiles! The staff and doctors are all super nice. They have made our experience easy and comfortable. My kids love going to the dentist and that is fantastic! The staff are well trained to handle younger kiddos and it makes me happy that my children enjoy getting their teeth cleaned. Definitely would recommend!!

Great office for little ones. The staff and doctor were great with my son. They did everything to make him feel at home and make sure he was comfortable. They even gave him a balloon as we left; the highlight of his day!
