This animal hospital claims to care about pets and people too. A big lie! Our 2 puppies, who are both microchipped, were lost and the person who found them took them to this facility and was told that our puppies do not have microchips. We asked the lady at the reception desk about this and she said that they do not have a microchip scanner and she said that she refers people to Halifax Humane Society, more than 5 miles away, to get animals scanned for microchips. Yet, they implant microchips. I checked up on the implanting procedure with ResQ and the first thing that is supposed to be done when implanting a microchip is using a scanner to make sure that the animal doesnt already have a microchip. How can they implant microchips, then, if they cant scan for them? Stay away from this place as they are not up to date on the technology needed to run a modern vets office and dont really care about reuniting lost pets with their families.

I came to this vet practice last fall when adopting a rescue dog. Dr. Wolfe had been caring for the rescues animals and was wonderful when i had questions about her post spay needs, including follow up when she pulled a stitch. They also called for follow up checks in between our visits to be sure everything was going as expected. Today when i called with a sick dog, not sure what was wrong they said come right in ( this was a saturday morning) and saw us, provided exam, urgent care and plan for a few days to monitor situation. Everyone including the reception/office mgmt , technicians and doctor are so caring and pleasant. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for pet care.

The entire staff at Granada Animal Hospital is exceptional and goes above and beyond for every animal and owner that comes through their doors. Great care and customer service start with the front desk staff and continues with the vet techs and the veterinarians. They have worked closely with Daytona Beach German Shepherd Rescue and the also take care of my personal dogs, many times they have stayed after hours to accommodate my schedule and offered help beyond words in our emergency cases.

They treat the dogs from the Daytona Beach German Shepherd Rescue as if they were their personal pets, providing the very best of care. When our 3 year old hamster became sick, I called around to almost every vet within a 15 mile radius. Dr. Wolfe was the only vet who would agree to see him. He was very ill and Dr. Wolfe euthanized him. She was very compassionate, and came out to the waiting room to explain what would the procedure would be. She treats ALL animals, no matter the size or species, with dignity and compassion. I highly recommend her.

I cant begin to tell you how much Dr. Wolfe has gone above and beyond for our furbabies . I have been to several vets in my area and never have I felt more love and compassion for my pups then here !!!The whole staff is just wonderful and really enjoys their jobs . To anyone who reads the negative review about microchips: Granada Animal Hospital is under new ownership as of September 2015! Since the change we are improving everyday and upgrading technology. One of the first things we did is ensure we have a microchip scanner! We are sorry this situation occurred in the past under the previous owner.

This vet really cares about your animals. They keep you up to date on everything, treat everything accordingly and never ever do more procedures than needed. They call back about a week later for follow up to see how your pet is doing. I take both my dog and cat there and they give the upmost care to both.

Dr wolfe and staff work errortlessly to help animals in need without hesitation no matter how busy they are. They work closely with rescue groups and building wonder relationship with the people AND animals. They have gentle hands and great attitudes. I recommend this vet practice, without a doubt!

We were referred to this office by the shelter we adopted our puppy through. The staff was great but the doctor was very unorganized and coy. And each visit we waited over 45 minutes to be seen while patients were taken in no organized fashion. We switched as soon as we could.
